Casper scares the man away, then uses the telescope to see the moon. He then flies to the moon for a visit. Casper lands on the moon, disappointed to find no man on the moon. He lies down to nap, then tiny moon men emerge from holes. They capture Casper, like Lilliputians did to Gulliver, then place him in a cage on wheels, in which they tow him to the Ruler of the Moon, King Luna. The King addresses Casper as a monster, and treats him as an enemy. Casper playfully picks up King Luna, and the king has him placed in the royal dungeon. A dejected Casper is imprisoned. Then animated trees attack the city of the moon men. The moon men defend their fortified city with flaming missiles. The tree monsters fight back with water, then break through the town walls. When the fight seems lost to the tree monsters, Casper escapes his cage, and helps the moon men. Casper goes underground. The friendly ghost then pulls trees' parts through the moon surface and ties them together, immobilizing the trees. The frustrated trees writhe and strain against the knots Casper has tied. Casper and the moon men have won. Then, and only then, does King Luna embrace Casper as a friend. King Luna knights Casper for the valiant defense of his people. Then all the moon men join in singing the Casper theme song.
- It's the middle ages (sort of); Popeye is working in Bluto's Beanery. Bluto is going to the ball where Princess Olive will choose her mate. Popeye's fairy godpappy appears and it's a reverse Cinderella story, with a car created from a can of spinach.

The rest of the cartoon is spent chasing the crook to Paris, the Swiss Alps, and North Africa; Popeye always gets there first, but fails to make the arrest until he lucks into some spinach, of course.
- Popeye and Olive are touring a museum when they accidentally launch a rocketship to Mars. Olive escapes, but Popeye gets to Mars, where he is attacked by a group (led by a Bluto-ish looking Martian leader) that was preparing to invade Earth. Fortunately, Popeye has a can of spinach handy, so he can save the Earth (turning most of the Martian war apparatus into amusement park rides).
- Lois Lane and an explorer set out on an expedition through an underground cavern and discover a race of hawk-men. When these creatures prepare a ritual sacrifice for the adventurous pair, Superman comes to the rescue.
- Popeye's birthday, and Olive managed to get enough rationed sugar to bake him a cake, so she invites him over. Shorty is suicidal because he never gets any mail; Popeye invites him, too. But Shorty is also accident prone. He goes to wash his hands, and manages to flood Popeye right into the sewer. He assembles the ingredients, then manages to get them all over Popeye. Olive tells Popeye to wash up; Shorty runs the water, and we get another flood. Shorty decides Popeye needs to play some games, so they play baseball, golf, and hockey in Olive's living room, all ending disastrously for Popeye. Popeye manages to cut a hole in the floor; Shorty falls in, Popeye throws a rug on it, then Olive arrives carrying the cake and falls in. Soon, everyone's in the furnace in the cellar.
- Casper, the Friendly Ghost, who has a hard time making a friend, is in search of a friend and comes upon a young boy reading about Aladdin and his magic lamp. Casper decides he can make a pal by masquerading as the genie of the lamp. But a burglar, seeing Casper performing for the boy, steals the lamp. Casper foils the burglar, who ends up in the hands of the police, while Casper, the genie and boy all take a nap together.
- Five children from around the world follow Santa home on Christmas Eve, and decide to give him some extra help around the workshop.
- Little Lulu, torn between playing hookey and going fishing, or going to school, chooses to go fishing...where she encounters the Fish from Cartoon Hades.
- Casper, the friendly ghost, makes friends with a baby seal at the North Pole. Mama and Papa Seal are afraid of Casper, but the baby and Casper becomes playmates. The baby is menaced by a huge bear, but Casper scares the bear out of his skin. Now unafraid, Mama and Papa return and accept Casper.
- Popeye takes Olive to the zoo, where she's spotted by zookeeper Bluto, who tries various stunts to impress her and/or get rid of Popeye. But Olive walks into the leopard cage, and before Bluto can get into his armored suit to save her, Popeye has eaten his spinach.
- Casper makes friends with a fox cub. But the new friendship is threatened when a fox hunter and his two hounds come on the scene.
- While Clark Kent is in wartime Japan, Superman becomes a saboteur.
- A German sub destroys a rowboat, a buoy, and another German sub (obviously, not the pride of the fleet). Meanwhile, Popeye, with a boat full of "spinach fer Britain", rams into the sub by accident. The sub cuts Popeye's ship in half with machine-gun fire, separating him from the spinach; it then sends a torpedo into the remains, which Popeye collects in a rowboat. Popeye spins the sub upside down, then ends up in a mine field (again barely saving the spinach). After another run-in, the spinach lands in the sub, and Popeye ends up underwater, where he opens his own can and smashes the Nazis into the mine field. He rows the sub full of spinach into the fog and, ultimately, right to #10 Downing Street.
- Popeye's nephews have been practicing their music and are getting good, but it's bedtime. After Popeye puts them to bed, they discover that many of the things in their bedroom can also be used to make music. And they are also blessed with an uncanny ability to appear to sleep every time Popeye comes to check on them.
- "The Wee Men" tells the story of Leprechauns who make shoes for the poor. When the youngest reaches manhood, he insists on making the delivery. However, a local crook makes plans to catch him so he'll lead him to their crock of gold.
- Popeye is Robin Hood; he's got a sidekick, Little John. Bluto is the tax collector, and Olive is the owner/barmaid at the local pub. Bluto comes to the pub to collect 100% taxes and falls for Olive, whom he tries to impress with trick archery, but Popeye/Robin makes a fool of him. Since he can't win fair, he cheats by serving Popeye a root beer spiked with "Ye Olde Michael Finn (king size)". With Popeye out cold, he dashes off with Olive, but Little John feeds Popeye his spinach, and Popeye races off to the castle, turning the armored knights into a cast-iron stove. Bluto carries Olive up a spiral staircase, but Popeye screws it into the ground, and they all ride off with Bluto acting as their beast of burden.
- Popeye and Olive are on vacation at Lake Narrowhead. Olive wants to take part in athletic activities, while Popeye just wants to rest (particularly since he had to substitute for one wheel of their sad excuse of a car). Olive goes off for athletic instruction while Popeye sleeps until he sees that the instructor is Bluto, and he's taking a personal interest in Olive.
- Olive Oyl's Farm is desperately in need of a farmhand. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the boys are driving by. They compete for the job. Chores: Getting water from a well, picking apples, shoeing a horse, gathering eggs. Popeye feeds a hen a little spinach, and she produces a mountain of eggs, which eventually end up all over Bluto. Bluto drops an anvil on Popeye, then goes after Olive against her wishes, chasing her into a succession of haystacks (where he finds a needle!). The chicken feeds Popeye his spinach, and he triumphs, sending Bluto into the pigpen (where the pigs won't have anything to do with him).
- Popeye sights land, disembarks from his raft and enters a café. He orders a meal, which the manager is glad to give him as he is a cannibal chef. Before long, Popeye finds in a large pot being cooked for dinner for a cannibal tribe. Popeye thinks this may be harmful to his health...and pops open a can of spinach.
- Popeye is being honored for his 20 years of films at a dinner hosted by 'Bob Hope' (several other celebrities are present, like 'Jimmy Durante', 'Bing Crosby', 'Jerry Lewis' and 'Dean Martin'). When called on to make a speech, Popeye instead shows clips from two of his movies. Bluto does a slow burn through this, finally stuffing Popeye's trophy onto Popeye's head - but the trophy is full of spinach, so Popeye clobbers Bluto.
- Casper's three companions are fed up with him being friendly so they decide to make him just as mean as they are. However they are soon in the jam with the "new Casper."
- Casper with no success goes out to make friends that he can invite to his birthday party.
