"The Flash: Flash of Two Worlds (#2.2)" (2015)
Patty Spivot: Flash?
The Flash, Jay Garrick: Coming.

Jay Garrick: Where I came from, I was a speedster like you. They called ME The Flash.

Jay Garrick: They belong to a meta-human I fought before named Sand Demon.
Cisco Ramon: I know you're new here, so I'm just gonna break it down for you. The whole naming the bad guys thing - that's my jam, but you know what? I'm gonna let you have that one, 'cause I actually kinda like it. I'm not mad at that one.

Barry Allen: Well, sure you wanna do this, Flash?
Jay Garrick: Yeah. Let's go see what you're made of, Flash.

Jay Garrick: So, I hear they call you the Scarlet Speedster.
Barry Allen: Yeah. What about you?
Jay Garrick: Crimson Comet.
Barry Allen: Mm.
Jay Garrick: What is it with alliteration and nicknames?

Jay Garrick: On my world, I've been The Flash for about two years.
Caitlin Snow: And how did you get YOUR speed?
Jay Garrick: Not really sure. I was at my lab trying to purify heavy water without any residual radiation when there was a blinding light. Uh, I fell into a coma. When I woke up, I could run almost as fast as the speed of light.
Caitlin Snow: Sorry. Did you say lab? Are you a scientist?
Jay Garrick: Well, I certainly didn't work at a place like this, but, yeah. I had a respectable solo operation. Part-time chemist, part-time physicist. Part-time superhero.
Caitlin Snow: Hmm.
Jay Garrick: I can forget that superhero part now, though, huh?

Barry Allen: You got your suit?
Jay Garrick: Sure. Well, except my helmet.
Dr. Martin Stein: Helmet?
Cisco Ramon: Silver-kettle helmet? Gold wings?
Jay Garrick: Don't tell me you guys found it.

Barry Allen: Jay, how can I stop somebody who can slip through my fingers?
Jay Garrick: The way I was never able to - with lightning.
Cisco Ramon: Yo-oh! Are you about to pull a Zeus right now?

"The Flash: The Darkness and the Light (#2.5)" (2015)
Caitlin Snow: You've coffee on your Earth, right?
Jay Garrick: I think coffee's the one constant thing in the multiverse.

Dr. Harrison Wells: You cannot reason with someone under Zoom's influence, and now a man is dead because of you, Garrick. This whole thing is because of you. He doubts himself because of you, but believe me, Barry can do what you could not. Barry can stop Zoom.
Jay Garrick: I spent two years hunting Zoom.
Dr. Harrison Wells: Wrong! Zoom hunted you! You spent the last two years of your life running, running, running from Zoom.
Jay Garrick: Zoom would have killed me just like he will kill Barry if you lead him down this path!
Dr. Harrison Wells: No, because he is not like you. Barry runs towards danger, not from it, because Barry's not a coward.

Barry Allen: We do what Dr. Wells said. We use her to lure Zoom here, end this once and for all.
Jay Garrick: You can't be serious.
Barry Allen: More breachers are gonna come. More innocent people may die. I can't let this happen anymore.
Jay Garrick: You're making a mistake. Okay, Zoom is a nightmare you can't wake up from.
Barry Allen: I've already had my worst nightmare. His name was Reverse-Flash. I spent a long time being afraid of him. I'm not gonna be afraid anymore.

"The Flash: Welcome to Earth-2 (#2.13)" (2016)
Jay Garrick: His name is Adam Fells, but he calls himself Geomancer.
Caitlin Snow: So this meta-human is a breacher?
Jay Garrick: No, Fells died on my Earth. This must be his Earth-1 doppleganger.
Joe West: Well, at least now we know his name. Might be a little easier to track him down.
Caitlin Snow: Yeah, but with Barry gone, how are we gonna stop him even if we do find him?
Joe West: Well, Jay, you could shoot yourself up with that stuff. What was it? Velocity...
Caitlin Snow: Velocity-6.
Jay Garrick: I cannot take V-6.
Joe West: But it gave you your speed back long enough to get that bullet out of Wells; saved his life.
Jay Garrick: Joe, don't ask me to take Velocity-6 again.
Joe West: Look, Jay, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but Barry is protecting your world, and our world needs a Flash right about now.

Jay Garrick: Caitlin, I like the way you look at me with warmth and pride, and I'm not... I'm not worthy of those.
Caitlin Snow: Yes, you are.
Jay Garrick: No, I did a terrible thing, Caitlin. When my world's particle accelerator went off, I became a speedster. I became the fastest man alive, only... only it wasn't enough for me. I wasn't... I wasn't fast enough. So I figured with my scientific background, I could increase my powers, and... I did.
Caitlin Snow: So you've taken Velocity-6 before?
Jay Garrick: Yes. But there were some... unforeseen side effects.
Caitlin Snow: This is why you didn't want Barry to take it, or even know about it. Zoom never stole your speed. This is what's making you sick. Velocity-6 is killing you.
Jay Garrick: I wasn't lying when I said that stuff was dangerous. I've made so many mistakes.
Caitlin Snow: You have something now that you've never had before: me. And I'm gonna figure this out.

"Young Justice: Bloodlines (#2.6)" (2012)
Jay Garrick: Uh, Barry? Something you've been meaning to tell us?
Barry Allen: What? No! This kid is not my grandson from any - uh when. Heck! Iris and I don't have any kids.
Iris West-Allen: Um, Barry?
Barry Allen: What?
Iris West-Allen: I'm pregnant.
Barry Allen: What?
Iris West-Allen: I jut found out this morning. I was going to tell you tonight...
[Iris glances to side towards Bart]
Iris West-Allen: in *private*.
Bart Allen: [Bart runs to Iris and talks to her belly] Hi dad. Hi Aunt Dawn.
Barry Allen: Wait! There are two in there?
Iris West-Allen: We're having *twins*?
Bart Allen: Oops! Spoilers.

Bart Allen: Ah, c'mon. Grandpa. Let the League handle this guy. I mean how often does a relative from the future show up at your door.
The Flash: Listen, I-. I'll deal with you later. Stay put.
The Flash: I'll be back in a flash.
[Zips off]
Bart Allen: Back in a flash. Wow. Does he say that often?
Iris West-Allen, Wally West, Jay Garrick, Joan Garrick: [All sigh] Too often.

"The Flash: The Race of His Life (#2.23)" (2016)
Dr. Harrison Wells: You know what? In battle, choose your weapon wisely. All right? Some people choose a gun. I choose a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Cisco Ramon: Oh, oh, I'm sorry. You're so particular.
Dr. Harrison Wells: Ramon, can you just please... have you ever worked with a tool before?
Cisco Ramon: I'm working with one now.
Dr. Harrison Wells: Are you ready? One... two... and...
Jay Garrick: [the lock on his iron mask clicks open and Wells takes the mask off] Ugh. I don't know what's more annoying, being in that thing or listening to you two arguing about it.

Cisco Ramon: So the reason you didn't have your powers is because there was a dampener in the mask. You see?
Jay Garrick: I don't want to see this thing ever again.
[vibrates his hand through the mask breaking it in half]
Cisco Ramon: So your powers are back.
Joe West: I see Jay - excuse me - Hunter stole your color scheme too.
Jay Garrick: He stole a lot of things that were mine, except for that. That's, um - that's all him.
Iris West: He said it was his father's from the war.
Dr. Harrison Wells: Ironically, on my - on our Earth - this helmet stood for hope.
Jay Garrick: Yeah?
Dr. Harrison Wells: Yeah.
Jay Garrick: Well, maybe I can continue on that sentiment, take something from him, for a change, make it my own.
Caitlin Snow: It suits you.
Jay Garrick: Thank you, all of you, for saving me from Zoom, especially you, Flash.
Barry Allen: You're welcome, Flash.
Jay Garrick: Now all have to do is find my way home.
Wally West: And where's that?
Jay Garrick: I think you would call it Earth-3.
Cisco Ramon: Uh-huh. Well, I can get you to Earth-2.
Dr. Harrison Wells: My daughter and I can help you with the rest.
Jesse Wells: We can?
Dr. Harrison Wells: Yes, we can. We're going home.

"The Flash: Family of Rogues (#2.3)" (2015)
Jay Garrick: Zoom uses the breaches. Why can't we?
Cisco Ramon: We don't know how. Everything I put through just bounces back.
Barry Allen: If Zoom's using these breaches to transport people from Earth Two, maybe it takes a speedster.
[Barry super-speeds away]
Cisco Ramon: He's not gonna...
Jay Garrick: Yeah, he is.
[Barry super-speeds into the breach and bounces off]
Barry Allen: Maybe I'm not fast enough.

Jay Garrick: We need to think of the breach as a door, and on Earth Two there's another door. In between, we have a hallway, but the hallway's constantly shifting, twisting, collapsing upon itself.
Barry Allen: And the doors keep moving with it.
Cisco Ramon: So we stabilize the door, we stabilize the hallway.
Barry Allen: And then I can jump through it.
Jay Garrick: Exactly. It would serve as a kind of cannon - a speed cannon.
Cisco Ramon: Mm. We should hang out more.

"The Flash: Legends of Today (#2.8)" (2015)
Caitlin Snow: I thought this was to help Barry.
Dr. Harrison Wells: It is to help Barry, which is why we need to do test runs on subjects who once had the Speed Force in their system.
Jay Garrick: The Speed Force doesn't work like that. It's not something you can create in a lab.
Dr. Harrison Wells: How do you think you became The Flash, Garrick? By me in a lab. Science is what did this to you, to Barry, to Zoom, and science is what we need to stop Zoom, and this is our only option.
Jay Garrick: Find another one! The Speed Force can't be replicated or enhanced. It's a living thing. It's a gift that was given to me. That drug - you have no idea what it's gonna do. I'm not letting another one of your experiments mess with me again, Harrison. You find someone else to be your guinea pig.
Caitlin Snow: Jay!
Jay Garrick: Caitlin, keep that serum away from Barry.

"The Flash: King Shark (#2.15)" (2016)
Jay Garrick: Well... this is a complication

"The Flash: The Reverse-Flash Returns (#2.11)" (2016)
Jay Garrick: Never understood why you do anything, Harrison.
Dr. Harrison Wells: That's fine with me, Garrick.

"The Flash: The Man Who Saved Central City (#2.1)" (2015)
Barry Allen: Who are you?
Jay Garrick: You don't know me, but I know you... Barry Allen.
Detective Joe West: Take one more step, it'll be the last step you take. The man asked you a question. Who the hell are you?
Jay Garrick: My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger.

"The Flash: Running to Stand Still (#2.9)" (2015)
James Jesse: [broadcasting on televisions across Central City] Flashy the red-nosed speedster had a very shiny suit, and if you ever saw him, you might even want to puke. Agh! Merry Christmas kiddy-winks, I'm back.
Captain David Singh: Get TARU down here, now! I wanna know how he's doing this.
James Jesse: Citizens, you know, the holidays can be a time for gentle reflection on the year past - our ups and downs, our triumphs and heartaches - but don't forget, it can also be a time for disemboweling our enemies.
Jay Garrick: We don't have a Trickster on Earth-2.
James Jesse: No...
Caitlin Snow: He's one of a kind.
James Jesse: ...my stocking won't be completely stuffed until it's filled to the brim with bloody Flash parts. What do ya say, speed freak? You wanna roast chestnuts?
