Having her life split between Paris, the city she was born and raised in and New York, the city she is living in, Marion is a woman in her early 30s. Being a photographer and working in the art industry, she decided to leave Paris in order to meet the big job opportunities. For the past 2 years she is in a relationship with Jack, an American living in NY. They live toghether and have a cat.

Marion likes the life in Paris and feels very comfortable around her parents to the degree that she has bought an appartment one floor above theirs. However, she is not always on good terms with her sister, which she finds kind of weird, distant and mean-ish. Marion is a funny, sociable and intelligent woman, charming in nature, but with often outbursts of anger and a bit low self-esteem. She is liberal in ideas and opposes openly to racism, conservatism, big fast-food chains and underaged prostitution. As a child she remained still for hours observing everyday commodities of which she drew a great deal of satisfaction. Her mother gave her a polaroid in order to capture these moments on a faster pace. And that's how she began to photograph.

As for love life, Marion has had many romantic partners, with most of whom she remains friends with. She lies to her boyfriend about the past relationship status with some of them, in order to keep him away from jealousy. However, her attitude has led to misunderstandings between her and her boyfriend, who is more old-fashioned, as he loses his trust in her. Probably the cultural difference is revealed in that moment. In the end, she is ready to open up her heart about everything if she is sure that the other person can handle it.
