Rose Kennedy (Diana Hardcastle)

Rose Kennedy (Diana Hardcastle) is the matriarch of the Kennedy family. She is the daughter of Boston Mayor John F. "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald. In 1914, she married to Joe Kennedy and together the couple had nine children - Joe, Jr., John, Rose, Kathleen, Eunice, Patricia, Bobby, Jean, and Ted. She is the mother of President John F. Kennedy.

A devout Catholic, she remained loyal to her husband despite his repeated infidelity. But the loyalty took its toll on her emotionally. Cold, pious, and often impenetrable, Rose would shut out anyone, including her own children, when she felt they had wronged her.
