"Gargoyles: The Price (#2.20)" (1995)
Hudson: About time you came back. Why did you kidnap me? What do you want of me?
David Xanatos: Nothing much, Hudson, just your skin.
Hudson: [holding his sword] You'll have the devil's own task getting it.
David Xanatos: Really?
[presses a button collects some stone from the bottom of Hudson's cage]
David Xanatos: See it wasn't as hard as you made it sound.

David Xanatos: The Cauldron of Life. The legend says whoever bathes in it will live as long as the mountain stones.
Hudson: Ah you wish to be... immortal.
David Xanatos: Of course, what good are all the riches on Earth, if Fox and I can't enjoy them forever?

Hudson: These ancient talismens are often dangerous, Xanatos. I would've thought your experience with the Eye of Odin would've taught you that.
David Xanatos: You could be right. Maybe it would be a good idea to test the brew first. Any volunteers?

David Xanatos: If the procedure is successful, I'll release you.
Hudson: And if it isn't?
David Xanatos: Then you'll have the privilege of giving your life for science.
Hudson: My clan will never rest until they know where I am!
David Xanatos: But they already know where you are.
[holds up a model of Hudson]
David Xanatos: This is just a sculpture's model. The real thing is life sized, and life like.

Hudson: Geting old terrifies you, doesn't it?
David Xanatos: Nothing terrifies me. Because nothing is beyond my ability to change. What about you? Still sitting in front of a television set. You're of little use to your clan. You may as well be of some use to me.
Hudson: Open this cage, and I'll show you how useless I am.

David Xanatos: Better watch out Owen. This MacBeth may be gunning for your job. He's already died for me once on this project. It's hard to top that.

Hudson: Listen to me Xanatos. What you seek demands a heavy price. I've lived 1100 years, most of my clan is dead and dust. And I'm a stranger in a strange land. Demona and MacBeth are immortal, has it brought them happiness?
David Xanatos: Save your breath, Hudson. Death and old age have their price as well. And it's too expensive for me.

David Xanatos: [as a Steel Clan Robot is about to drop Hudson in teh cauldron] Relax Hudson. Without your sword, you're helpless.
Hudson: Swordless, maybe. Helpless? NEVER!

David Xanatos: I suppose you'll destroy the cauldron now.
Hudson: And why would I be doing that? What you choose to do with your life is your own affair... As long as it's got nothing to do with me.
David Xanatos: You're just full of surprises.
Hudson: A friendly word of advice. True immortality isn't about living forever, man. It's about what you do with the time you have. When all your scheming's done, what will your legacy be, Xanatos?
[Hudson leaves. Owen starts to go after him. Xanatos stops Owen]
David Xanatos: No, let him go. He's earned it.

David Xanatos: I was close to finding out if the legend was true. Now there's no one to test it on.
Owen Burnett: Allow me sir.
[puts his hand in the cauldron, it turns to stone]
Owen Burnett: It would appear that the cauldron's spell of immortality has a price.

"Gargoyles: Eye of the Beholder (#2.7)" (1995)
David Xanatos: So now you know my weakness.
Goliath: Only you would regard love as a weakness.

David Xanatos: Marry me.
Fox Renard-Xanatos: Are you serious?
David Xanatos: We're genetically compatible, highly intelligent, and have the same goals.

David Xanatos: Incredible. If I'd have known the Eye of Odin had that kind of power, I never would have just given it away. Oh well, spilt milk. Let's move on to plan B.

Elisa Maza: [pointing her weapon at Xanatos] You're going nowhere, Xanatos!
David Xanatos: Sorry, business. You understand.
[flies off]

Elisa Maza: [to Goliath] Don't listen to him. It's a trick! He couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it!
David Xanatos: But my life doesn't depend on this. It's Fox's life we're talking about.

Goliath: I have no more love for Fox than for you. Even if what you say is true, why should I help her?
David Xanatos: Because you know what it means to lose some you love.
Elisa Maza: Don't even *think* about it, Goliath! Can't you see this *is* his plan D? If it fails he'll move on to E or F.
Goliath: A noble effort, Xanatos. But another failure. Not a good night for you.

Elisa Maza: You're going to help him, aren't you?
Goliath: Yes.
David Xanatos: [Xanatos enters the alley] Good.
Elisa Maza: How did you find us?
David Xanatos: [Walks up to Goliath and removes a bug he planted on Goliath] Old habits die hard... She's not far from here.

Elisa Maza: [Grabs on to Xanatos as he's about to fly] I trust you as far as I can throw you.
David Xanatos: I don't have time to argue.
[takes off]

Owen Burnett: Actually Mr. Xanatos, I believe he's right. You've never looked more heroic.
David Xanatos: A momentary lapse, I assure you.

"Gargoyles: Double Jeopardy (#2.16)" (1995)
David Xanatos: I love a woman with delicate wrists.
Elisa Maza: You work with handcuffs as much as I do, you pick up a few tricks.

Owen Burnett: [as a statue is being stolen] Is this a plan you've neglected to mention?
David Xanatos: No! Maybe Demona's behind this. MacBeth, perhaps, or Renard. I've never lacked formidable enemies. But be assured, whoever it was will pay most dearly!

David Xanatos: You know, Anton, I'm not by nature a vengeful man...
[grabs Sevarius with one arm and holds him up against a wall]
Dr. Anton Sevarius: [lets out a startled yell] No!
David Xanatos: But your behavior has forced me to make an exception!

David Xanatos: Well, I should've known no copy could live up to the original.
Goliath: That copy was a living being... and we *all* failed him!

Owen Burnett: You mean that creature is still out there? It has the money, it's as powerful as Goliath, and it's smarter than you?
David Xanatos: Owen, I think I've created a monster.

Dr. Anton Sevarius: Who else had access to the castle?
David Xanatos: [suddenly realizing who's behind the plot] Well, what do you know? The kid turned out to be a real chip off the old block.
Thailog: [swooping down] Indeed he did!
[Knocks out both men]
Thailog: *All* the old blocks!

Dr. Anton Sevarius: But I don't understand, sir. What did I do wrong?
David Xanatos: Kidnapping, extortion, betrayal. Where do you want me to start?
Dr. Anton Sevarius: [quietly] Oh I get it, we're being watched. Is that it? Very well.
Dr. Anton Sevarius: Yes, I betrayed you! You robbed me of my greatest creation, my ultimate achievement! I only took back what was mine!
Dr. Anton Sevarius: There, how was that?

David Xanatos: I'm impressed, Thailog. You played Sevarius like a harp. But if money was the bottom line, why not just ask? We could have come to an arrangement.
Thailog: Maybe on your terms, not mine. Did you really expect me to spend my life as your stooge and the doctor's private guinea pig? You didn't go to all this trouble just to raise a fool.
Dr. Anton Sevarius: Typical. You do, and do, and do for them, and what happens? They twist the knife in you!
[He gasps as Thailog grabs hold of him]
Thailog: Don't tempt me.

"Gargoyles: Vows (#2.8)" (1995)
David Xanatos: It's so unlike you to attack first. I simply invited you here to talk.
Goliath: Our past encounters have not inspired me to trust you.

Petro Xanatos: Don't you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.
David Xanatos: Fox and I make our own luck.

Petro Xanatos: [regarding the castle] Why do you need all this?
David Xanatos: Oh reason not the need father. I *wanted* it so I *took* it.

Owen Burnett: Will Goliath actually be here?
David Xanatos: Oh he'll be here. I bet my future on it.

David Xanatos: [after Demona and Goliath leave the ceremony, Xanatos chases after them] Now the fun begins.
Petro Xanatos: This is your wedding! Have you no respect for anything?
David Xanatos: Sorry, pop. I'm in a bit of a hurry.
Petro Xanatos: Unacceptable!

Goliath: If I didn't fear the damage you would do to the time stream, I'd *gladly* leave you here.
David Xanatos: But you won't, because you didn't. Time travel's funny that way.

"Gargoyles: Cloud Fathers (#2.41)" (1996)
Coyote 4.0: You are aware the Mazas had nothing to do with the vandalism.
David Xanatos: Of course. But when the silent alarm brought the Tribal Police, I needed some excuse to get rid of them. Here's the *real* vandal and our target.
[Indicates image on screen]
David Xanatos: When the time comes, don't miss.
Coyote 4.0: Don't worry, I won't.

David Xanatos: Long time no see Goliath. I'm flattered you showed up just so I could use you as bait.
Coyote 4.0: This trough is filled with acid. In ten minutes, it's going to do a rather nasty job on that soil carving, not to mention your rugged good looks.
David Xanatos: It's my first real stab at clichéd villainy. How am I doing?

David Xanatos: [regarding Angela] She's quite lovely Goliath. You must be very proud.
Goliath: Let her go! She's done nothing to you.
David Xanatos: Actually neither of you has done anything that I hold a grudge over. Truth is I have no desire to kill you. But the death trap has to be real. I have to be prepared to follow through if I hope to bag my true quarry. For weeks, I've pretended to be on the verge of destroying the soil carving. But until I made up my mind to bulldoze it last night, I didn't get a nibble. My prey seems to know when I'm sincere.

Coyote Trickster: How are you doing this? No machine can hold me!
David Xanatos: This one can. Have you ever heard of the Cauldron of Life. It was supposed to grant me immortality. It fell short of my expectations, but I couldn't see so rare a find going to waste, so I melted it down, used it to reconstruct Coyote. My Coyote. The magic inherent in the iron allows it to hold on to you. Ironic isn't it, one Coyote catching another?
Coyote Trickster: I should sue you for trademark infringement!

David Xanatos: Goliath. I must say these last minute upsets you keep handing me are becoming... irritating!
[Flies off]

"Gargoyles: The Gathering: Part 1 (#2.44)" (1996)
Anastia Renard: [to the Petros Xanatos and Halcyon Renard] Okay you two. You can see them later. Fox needs her rest.
[the grandfather leave]
Anastia Renard: I'll keep the baby while you sleep.
David Xanatos: NO! That's not necessary. We have a nurse.
Anastia Renard: But David, I'm his grandmother.
David Xanatos: And you must be tired from your trip here.
Fox: What's going on?
Oberon: [Entering] Yes, what exactly *is* going on?

Anastasia Renard: I am gathering even now.
Oberon: We discussed this, my dear. It is my law that we not directly interfere in human affairs. Let the woman keep her child.
Fox: "Keep my child?" Mother, who is this guy?
Oberon: *Mother*?
Oberon: . Titania, what have you been up to?
Fox: Who is Titania? Mother, explain yourself!
David Xanatos: This should prove interesting.
Oberon: More interesting than you know. It is time to drop this facade my Queen.

Titania: [Speaking of the baby] He has magic in him. I would not see it die as did his mother's. It must be encouraged, nurtured.
Fox: This is ridiculous! My son will be nurtured right here! With his father and me!
Titania: No Fox! The boy must be taken to Avalon where he can be properly trained in his mystical heiritage,
[facing Oberon]
Titania: if, of course, you allow it, my lord.
Oberon: As I see it, Fox has turned out to be regrettably human. And thus we cannot interfer in her life. However the baby is still of our blood and if it pleases you to take him, you have my permission.
Fox: NO! You can't have him!
David Xanatos: It's all right. No one is taking our son anywhere. Taking a child from his parents is the epitome of interfering with human affairs. By your own law, you cannot allow it.
Oberon: I have made up my mind.
Fox: Too bad for you!

David Xanatos: Did you know that Anastaia was actually Titania?
Owen Burnett: I did.
David Xanatos: Then you knew that she came to steal my son!
Owen Burnett: No. But I feared it!

Owen Burnett: There are two things to remember: One. Energy is energy where generated by science or sorcery. Two. Oberon is vulnerable to iron. His magicks are powerless against it.
David Xanatos: I knew you wouldn't let me down Owen. Wait! Where are you going? We've got a fight on our hands.
Owen Burnett: I am truly sorry, Mr. Xanatos. But this is one battle in which I cannot risk becoming involved!

"Gargoyles: Future Tense (#2.43)" (1996)
David Xanatos: Rejoice, my people. The age of Xanatopia is at hand. All of your suffering and hardship will soon come to an end. And the rest of the world will enjoy the fruits of my benevolent leadership. Soon, my people, very soon.

Alexander Fox: Well father, you are well informed. Did you also know I'm broadcasting this little family chat directly to rebel headquarters?
David Xanatos: Of course. I'm piggy backing on your signal. I should have the location of their secret back in under 20 minutes.
Alexander Fox: NO!
David Xanatos: Nice try, my boy. But you can't defeat me. Your rebels are doomed! And one they're gone, there will be no one to stop me. In fact before this night is over, I'll literally be king of the world. And since I'm immortal, I have no need for an heir.
[Kills Alexander]
Goliath: [Watching on screen] I knew Xanatos was evil, but to destroy his own son...

David Xanatos: Well, Demona. I see Puck's spell of transformation even works in cyberspace. You didn't turn to stone. Which means... you'll suffer!
[Blasts Angela and Brooklyn]
Demona: NO! My daughter! My love!

Goliath: [Goliath is reduced to just a head] You will not win!
David Xanatos: What are you going to do? Bite my kneecaps off?

"Gargoyles: The Gathering: Part 2 (#2.45)" (1996)
Petros Xanatos: [Watching the gargoyles fight Oberon] I thought those creatures were your enemies.
David Xanatos: Never look a gift gargoyle in the mouth. Anything to keep Oberon burning up energy.

David Xanatos: So much for Owen's security measures. All our defenses, and he just keeps coming.
Petros Xanatos: But you're standing up to him.
David Xanatos: He's after my son!
Petros Xanatos: We haven't always seen eye-to-eye, David. But I have never been prouder to be your father.
David Xanatos: Thanks, Pop. Whatever happens, thanks.

Oberon: I want the boy! And I want him NOW!
David Xanatos: This is my home! And I have to insist that you go!
[Goliath lands behind Xanatos]
Goliath: Leave this place, Oberon! You have no claim here!
Oberon: I'll leave soon enough. With the child!

Oberon: Finally, all the nuisances have been eliminated.
Owen Burnett: [entering] I'm afraid, my lord, there's one more nuisance left.
Oberon: Do you think a stone fist will stop me, human?
David Xanatos: Owen, I knew you'd come back.
Owen Burnett: It was against my better judgment, Mr. Xanatos, I assure you. Nevertheless...
[Owen starts to spin and changes]
Puck: Here's PUCK!

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 2 (#1.2)" (1994)
David Xanatos: Start hiring crews, I want to begin as soon as possible.
Owen Burnett: It may prove difficult to find the necessary manpower. This castle has a bad reputation. The locals consider it haunted.
David Xanatos: You know the answer to that, Owen. Pay a man enough and he'll walk barefoot into Hell.

David Xanatos: Without you and your friends, who knows what those thugs would've done.
Goliath: Someone I once trusted said the same thing to me. And then destroyed my people.

David Xanatos: I know you were used poorly by men in the past, but all that's about to change. Trust me.
Goliath: You broke the spell of sleep that imprisoned us, Xanatos. And for that we are grateful. But we will never trust humans again!
David Xanatos: I can tell this relationship is something we all have to work at.

Owen Burnett: You may find yourself short of workers. The locals consider the castle haunted.
David Xanatos: You know the answer to that, Owen. Pay a man enough... and he'll walk barefoot into Hell.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Broadway Goes to Hollywood (#1.4)" (1996)
David Xanatos: [he and the "Manhattan Clan" discover Broadway has left with Fox for Hollywood to establish "public relations" between humans & gargoyles; talking to Fox on the phone as she and Broadway fly to Hollywood] Give my regards to Broadway.

Fox: Oh, David, dealing with the media is *my* specialty. If this project succeeds, it will not only bring humans and gargoyles closer together, it might even get our lives back to normal.
David Xanatos: I know it's no use trying to discourage you. So what can I say except, keep me posted, and give my regards to Broadway.

David Xanatos: I know how fast she moves, Hugo. What about the cybernetic armor?
Hugo: She must have had it with her all along, sir, just in case.
David Xanatos: Devoted wife, mother, one-woman vigilante, what a woman.
[Hangs up notices Goliath]
David Xanatos: Goliath. How long have you been standing there?
Goliath: Long enough to know we share the same dilemma. We have no way to help our loved ones.
David Xanatos: No. No way at all. For once, I don't know what to do.
Goliath: Have faith. Faith that Broadway and Fox *will* know what to do.

"Gargoyles: Kingdom (#2.26)" (1996)
David Xanatos: [after Owen hits Talon with his stone fist] I see you've managed to incorporate your handicap quite nicely, Owen.
Owen Burnett: Thank you, sir.

David Xanatos: Goliath... missing?
Owen Burnett: An intriguing development.
Brooklyn: [sarcastically] Perfect.

David Xanatos: [as Talon is about to fly off] Talon, I promise you. I will utilize all my resources to help track down Goliath and Elisa.
Talon: We don't want any help from *you*!
[Talon flies away]
David Xanatos: I wasn't aware I needed permission.

"Gargoyles: Possession (#2.49)" (1996)
David Xanatos: [after knocking out Coldstone] Some day, Coldstone. You'll thank me for this.

Coldstone: [Coldstone's head is unattached from his body. Xanatos is leaving the room] Wait! You're not going to leave me like this!
David Xanatos: We'll get back to you Coldstone. Meantime, chin up.

Owen Burnett: By the way, sir, the Coldstone dilemma has been resolved.
David Xanatos: Really? Why thank you Owen.
Owen Burnett: Don't thank me sir, thank your son.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: To Serve Mankind (#1.11)" (1996)
David Xantatos: Shut up and listen, Broadway. I'm saving your life. The Illumanati, your hosts here, accept only the most power into their ancient order. Though I occasionally find my membership distasteful, it often proves useful, as it did today. The rest of the story can wait. My "lodge brothers" will return soon. And all of you must be gone!

Brooklyn: Where - where's Goliath?
Broadway: Yeah, where is Goliath?
David Xantatos: No longer here. And we'll have to hurry if we're going to save him... from himself.

David Xantatos: Unfortunately, having news accounts of your attack broadcast to the world isn't likely to inspire much love for gargoyles.
Broadway: But it wasn't his fault. He was brainwashed!
Elisa Maza: You know that and I know that, but try telling that to them.
Goliath: All of our efforts to make the humans accept us, destroyed... in one moment of madness.

"Gargoyles: The Edge (#1.10)" (1995)
David Xanatos: Soon everyone in New York will be hunting gargoyles.
Goliath: Because of you!
David Xanatos: If you're going to be picky, we won't get anywhere.

David Xanatos: You've been practicing. This is the first time I've ever lost a match to you.
Owen Burnett: Would you rather I pretend to lose?
David Xanatos: I'd fire you if you did.

"Gargoyles: City of Stone: Part 3 (#2.11)" (1995)
Elisa Maza: [to Xanatos] Demona's broadcast originated from Pack Media Studios. *You* own it! So as *usual* this is all *your* fault!
Owen Burnett: Mr. Xanatos is trying to fix things. What are you doing to help?
[Elisa tries to move past Owen, but he block her path, the Sun sets and they both turn to stone]
David Xanatos: That's one way to settle an argument.

Goliath: What's Elisa doing here?
Brooklyn: She doesn't look happy.
David Xanatos: Owen sometimes has that affect on people.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Ransom (#1.2)" (1996)
Fox: They have Alex!
David Xanatos: NO!
Fox: [angrily to Lexington] What kind of gargoyle are you? You're supposed to protect us!

Travis Marshall: [reading the kidnapper's demand on a report] Repeat: a gargoyle in exchange for the baby.
Hudson: I'll go. I'm old.
Lexington: NO! This is *my* fault! I'm going.
David Xanatos: Nobody's going anywhere. Giving into blackmail accomplishes nothing.
Fox: Oh, but, David...
David Xanatos: If our association with the gargoyles is revealed, our family will never be safe!
[Turns to Goliath]
David Xanatos: Help me. And we will find Alex.

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 4 (#1.4)" (1994)
David Xanatos: Goliath, there's someone I'd like you to meet. An old acquaintance I believe.
Goliath: Who?...
[Goliath gasps]
Goliath: You're alive!
Demona: Goliath, my love.

Goliath: My angel, it really is you.
Demona: Oh, Goliath. All the days I've dreamed of you and this moment.
[Xanatos clears his throat]
David Xanatos: I'm very happy for you both.
Demona: This man has brought us together my love. We owe our reunion to David Xanatos.
Goliath: But how - You were shattered by the vikings.
Demona: No. I feared for your safety so I left the castle to find you but I lost my way and the sun rose before I could return.
Goliath: How did you survive all these centuries?
Demona: When I returned to the castle the Magus had already turned you to stone. I begged him to cast his spell on me so that we might awaken together.
David Xanatos: I saw her a year ago and was so impressed I acquired her for my private collection. Then after I woke *you* up it seemed plausible that a trip to castle might have the same effect on her.
Goliath: With you alive, I can start to live again as well.
Demona: As you said, you and I are one. Now and forever.

"Gargoyles: City of Stone: Part 4 (#2.12)" (1995)
David Xanatos: You'll forgive me if I just shake your hand.
Owen Burnett: [Shaking hands] Of course. I'm quite glad the plan worked

David Xanatos: Goliath, we made a good team. You know all this time, I've wondered why I let you creatures live. Now I know. You come in handy now and then.
Goliath: As do you... occasionally.

"Gargoyles: Hunter's Moon: Part 3 (#2.52)" (1996)
David Xanatos: Of course, they're safe detective. Goliath just saved the world. More importantly, he saved my son. The least I can do is reinstate his clan to their ancestral home.
Elisa Maza: What's the catch, Xanatos?
David Xanatos: No catches, no tricks, no strings. The feud is over, detective. He's waiting for you.

Lexington: [caught between two helicopters] We're surrounded.
[the police fire at them. Xanatos opens his helicopter]
David Xanatos: Can I interest you in a ride?
Goliath: It appears we have no choice.

"Gargoyles: City of Stone: Part 2 (#2.10)" (1995)
David Xanatos: [Looking at all the statues in the city] Obviously, Demona and I need to have a little talk.

Goliath: Then you were partners in this sorcery.
David Xanatos: I wanted to believe what she promised so I gave her access to the studio.
Goliath: YOU FOOL! I should make you pay for all the lives she destroyed.
David Xanatos: Do you want vengeance or a solution? This is bigger than either of us has ever faced. We'll have to work together to stop her. Truce?
Goliath: [Exhales] Agreed.
[Shakes Xanatos's hand]

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 3 (#1.3)" (1994)
David Xanatos: The truth is that my men repelled an invasion by a rival corporation trying to steal some of our new technology.
Elisa Maza: "Repelled an invasion"? You're a private citizen, Xanatos. Not a country.

"Gargoyles: Metamorphosis (#2.2)" (1995)
David Xanatos: [Elisa's trying to enter Genu-Tech] How are you feeling?
Derek Maza: Pretty lousy.
David Xanatos: Just say the word, and I'll have her brought up here. Don't worry about me. This is as much my fault as it is Sevarius's.
Derek Maza: No! I can't face her now. Not until he's cured me.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: A Bronx Tail (#1.5)" (1996)
David Xanatos: Don't worry, Lexington knows to find a safe place if they can't make it back by dawn.
Elisa Maza: And where would that safe place be? Anti-gargoyle hysteria keeps getting worse.
[looks at Goliath]
Elisa Maza: Even the strongest gargoyle is an easy target during the day.

"Gargoyles: Outfoxed (#2.14)" (1995)
David Xanatos: You seem distracted, having second thought?
Fox Renard-Xanatos: About that last kick?
David Xanatos: About Renard, if your hostile take over succeeds, he'll be completely wiped out. He's not a young man.
Fox Renard-Xanatos: Oh, he'll manage. He always has. If all goes well Cyber Biotics will be mine by tomorrow morning. We'll celebrate over breakfast.

"Gargoyles: Her Brother's Keeper (#1.12)" (1995)
David Xanatos: Never a gargoyle around when you need one.

"Gargoyles: The Cage (#2.19)" (1995)
Talon: I don't believe it! Goliath wasn't Sevarius's partner, it was YOU all along! I TRUSTED you! You turned me into a monster, and I *defended* you!
David Xanatos: I am sorry thing turned out this way. We'd all be happier if you remained in the dark. But I can't let you damage Anton. He's a bit of a bother, but his mind represents infinite possibilities. He's a scientist, you're just the experiment.

"Gargoyles: Hunter's Moon: Part One (#2.50)" (1996)
Jon Carter: The pictures I've seen of this castle had gargoyles on the parapets.
David Xanatos: True. They didn't suit my tastes, so I had them destroyed.
Jon Carter: Really? An art fancier like yourself?
David Xanatos: If you brought them in front of me now, I'd happily pulverize them on the spot.

"Gargoyles: Leader of the Pack (#2.1)" (1995)
David Xanatos: Revenge, as they say, is a sucker's game.

"Gargoyles: The Thrill of the Hunt (#1.6)" (1994)
Owen Burnett: Everything was done as you stipulated, sir. The Cable TV was adjusted so that the only program the gargoyles could see was the Pack's. The Pack received a mysterious envelope of photographs, and reacted just as you predicted. A pity nothing else happened according to plan.
David Xanatos: Oh I wouldn't say that Owen. Though they didn't know it was me, I created the Pack to be far more than a TV show. I had to see how good they were. And having underestimated Goliath once before, I had to see what he was capable of as well. All-in-all, I'd say the test was most informative.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: For It May Come True (#1.10)" (1996)
David Xanatos: Sorry to cut short your reunion, but frankly, I'm getting bored!
[Helicopters appear and they capture the Gargoyles]
Goliath: Are you *insane*?
David Xanatos: Funny question, coming from a file clerk who thinks he's a gargoyle!
Goliath: The Xanatos I knew had given up such cruelty
David Xanatos: Foolish man.

"Gargoyles: Upgrade (#2.17)" (1995)
[last lines]
Fox: Checkmate.
David Xanatos: Well played.
Fox: Aren't you angry? I know you don't like to lose.
David Xanatos: But I've won, my darling. For in you, I've found a true equal. Care to play again?

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 5 (#1.5)" (1994)
Goliath: [holding Xanatos over the edge of the building] She wanted me to destroy humanity, I think I'll start with you!
David Xanatos: Go ahead. Without me, you'd still be gathering moss.
Elisa Maza: NO GOLIATH! Don't do this.
Goliath: Give me one good reason not to drop him.
Goliath: Because if you do, you're the same as Demona.
