"Gargoyles: Upgrade (#2.17)" (1995)
Goliath: It's a quiet night.
Brooklyn: Guess again.
[pointing down]
Brooklyn: You're not going to believe who came out of hiding.
Broadway: The Pack!
Lexington: Ooh. I've been waiting for another shot at them!
Goliath: Do not lose the element of surprise. They are formidable opponents.

Lexington: [the Pack is escaping] We can't just let them get away!
Brooklyn: Helping Goliath is more important!

Lexington: If I was leader, I'd make sure that my clan knew where I was at all times.
Broadway: If you were leader, I'd be somewhere else at all times.

Fox: [on the TV] Don't pack it in. Take the train.
Brooklyn: She wants us there. Where the tracks cross!
Lexington: I know that spot!
Broadway: It's gotta be a trap!
Brooklyn: Goliath and Hudson might be in danger. Do we have a choice?

Broadway: Whoa, that's not the Pack I remember.
Lexington: Who cares; let's go get them!
[Starts to glide down. Brooklyn grabs him]
Brooklyn: Wait! He's powerful enough to trap Goliath.
Lexington: You may be afraid to fight without Goliath, *I'm* not!
Broadway: Me neither!
Brooklyn: Guys, we won't get two chances at this... I have a plan.

Hyena: I know you're around here somewhere, you flying rat!
Lexington: That's MISTER Flying Rat to you!

Goliath: I have something to say. As you know I've been considering a second-in-command. I've had a choice in mind for weeks, but was concerned that to reveal it, would drive a wedge between you. But you have each proven yourselves to be worthy warriors. And more importantly, an excellent fighting team. I now see what I should've seen all along, that nothing can divide you... Brooklyn, my friend, leadership is a heavy burden.
Brooklyn: Me?
Hudson: Congratulations, lad.
Lexington: That goes double for me.
Broadway: Hey, you deserve it, buddy.

"Gargoyles: Turf (#2.47)" (1996)
Angela: Oh, and another thing- Stop calling me ANGIE!
Brooklyn: You got it!
Broadway: No problem!
Lexington: 'Angela', it is!

Angela: [the trio are arguing while gliding, they don't notice a smoke stack] Guys! GUYS!
Broadway: [Broadway notices the smoke stack] Uh oh.
[the trio crashes into the smoke stack]
Angela: I tried to warn you.
Broadway, Lexington, Brooklyn: Thanks.

Angela: It's almost dawn, and Goliath, Bronx, and Hudson still haven't come back from patrol.
Broadway: Don't worry, we've all been caught away from home at sunrise.
Lexington: Yeah, but how many of us have turned to stone in mid-air?
Broadway: HEY! That MacBeth robot was after me!
[Broadway and Lexington start fighting each other]
Brooklyn: Knock it off muttonheads!

Brooklyn: All right, here's the plan. Me and Angie will tail 'em and you guys wait for Goliath.
[Angela and Brooklyn glide off]
Lexington: He's doing it again!
[Lexington and Broadway go after them]
Broadway: This is too important for you to handle alone.
Angela: Listen, Elisa's counting on us. So no more fighting. Okay?
Brooklyn: Who's fighting?
Lexington: You bet!
Broadway: *I* am not fighting.

Angela: [Lexington is trying to fly the air craft] Can't you do something? I thought you flew a helicopter!
Lexington: Yeah. But uh. first, I uh kind of crashed it.

"Gargoyles: The Thrill of the Hunt (#1.6)" (1994)
Lexington: [walking into the TV room] Hey, it's The Pack!
Brooklyn: Cool!
Hudson: [flipping through the channels] Something's wrong, it's on all the channels again!
Broadway: I thought you liked this show, Hudson.
Hudson: Aye, I do, but not every night!

Goliath: [Angrily] You let them see you?
Lexington: Yeah. Yes I did. And why not? You made friends with Elisa.
Goliath: That was different!

Lexington: We can't hide from the whole world up here. There are kindred spirits out there for us, but we've got to look for them and we've got to give them the chance. Or else, we'll always be alone.

Goliath: [after they've been attacked by the pack] I think they planned to do so from the moment they first met you.
Lexington: But *why*? We're not their enemies! They're no more than animals!
Goliath: Worse than that. An animal hunts because it's hungry. These hunters do it for sport.
Lexington: I'm never trusting anyone again!

Lexington: I was so totally wrong!
Goliath: No, Lexington! You were right. We can't hide from the world, we must live in it. We must search for allies, kindred spirits, and sometimes, we must take chances like we did tonight. To do so otherwise is to remain forever alone.
Lexington: It's nice to know there are still some heroes left.

"Gargoyles: Enter Macbeth (#1.9)" (1995)
Brooklyn: Who is this "MacBeth" anyway?
Lexington: Uh, the name sounds familiar... Wait, I remember. Goliath was talking about a play called "MacBeth" by some new writer named Shakespeare.
Brooklyn: Uh-huh. Ever read it?
Lexington: No.
Brooklyn: Maybe we should.

Brooklyn: Who is this Macbeth, anyway?
Lexington: The name sounds familiar. Wait. I remember. Goliath was talking about a play called "Macbeth", by some new writer named Shakespeare.

Brooklyn: [pokes cage] Ouch.
[pokes cage]
Brooklyn: Ouch.
Lexington: How many times are you going to try that?
Brooklyn: Until you find a way to get us out of this.
[pokes cage]
Brooklyn: Ouch.
[pokes cage]
Brooklyn: Ouch. Hey, you know, I'm getting tired of this.
Lexington: Did you just see how the lights dimmed when you did that?
Brooklyn: Oh, sorry, no, I was too busy writhing in agony to notice.

[loud pounding and banging, sounds of a fight]
Lexington: Bronx must have found Goliath.
Brooklyn: Yeah.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: And Justice for All (#1.7)" (1996)
Goliath: I am not going! Not until the judge declares me innocent.
Lexington: Have you gone stir crazy? You've seen how much they hate gargoyles!
Goliath: I have seen it! That is why I cannot run away. Get Amy to the courthouse. And whatever happens, do nothing to help me. This is a problem I must solve... on my own.

Elisa Maza: [as the Gargoyles wake up] Hudson, Goliath's been arrested!
Broadway: I told you we should have stayed with Goliath!
Lexington: I wanted to stay with him, *you* said he was a big boy, he could take care of himself.

Elisa Maza: Goliath doesn't want to escape. He wants us to stand trial, let the system prove his innocence.
Lexington: That's crazy! They'll crucify him!
Broadway: We gotta bust him out!
Hudson: NO! We must respect Goliath's wishes.

Goliath: Quickly, the police are coming.
Lexington: I've got news for ya: the police are *here*.

"Gargoyles: Legion (#2.3)" (1995)
Lexington: Are you sure this is a good idea? He hasn't always been your friend. To invite him to our home, our clan...
Goliath: Without trust, there can be no clan.

Coldstone: [tortured voice] Please, I beg you, be quiet.
Brooklyn: Who's he talking to?
Goliath: Somehow he's being tortured... from within.
Lexington: And if we want to save him, someone's going to have to go inside to do it.

Lexington: This isn't a good idea. I'm best qualified to go.
Goliath: Which is exactly why I need you watching the equipment... In case something goes wrong.

"Gargoyles: The Price (#2.20)" (1995)
Lexington: Boy, the city sure is different when it snows.
Brooklyn: Yeah. It's colder.

Lexington: I don't believe it.
Hudson: Believe it lad, MacBeth's dead.
Goliath: I had no choice. He would've killed the four of you.
Hudson: No one's questioning you, Goliath. We'd best prepare to sleep here, dawn's upon us.

Goliath: [Looking at the remains] Hudson was the greatest warrior I have ever known. His loss diminishes us all.
Brooklyn: Yeah, I wish I'd... he was one in a million.
Lexington: He's forgotten more things than we'll ever know.
Elisa Maza: He was always there for us.
Broadway: I'm sorry, Hudson. I wish it hadn't turned out this way.
Hudson: [Hudson joins the group] All things considered, I'm just as glad it did.

"Gargoyles: Pendragon (#2.35)" (1996)
Hudson: You are King Arthur?
King Arthur: I am. Are you of Goliath's clan? He told me to seek you out if I came to... Manhattan.
Brooklyn: You've seen Goliath?
Lexington: Are Bronx and Elisa with him?
Broadway: When are they coming back?
Hudson: Where are they?
Griff: I met up with Goliath in London.
Broadway: Well, Elisa's mother saw them in Nigeria.
Brooklyn: Halcyon Renard saw them in Prague.
King Arthur: I met them in Avalon. Where Elisa awakened me from my enchanted sleep. Only Avalon knows when they will return.

Hudson: That looked like a maze. There are no mazes in Manhattan.
Lexington: Brooklyn!
Brooklyn: WHAT?
Lexington: No. No. She- she means Brooklyn. The Hedge Maze in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I saw it in a guide book.

[repeated line]
Lexington: Jalapeño!

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 1 (#1.1)" (1994)
Brooklyn: If they think we're beasts and monsters...
Lexington: Then perhaps we better live up to the name.

Tom: I'm Tom, what's your name?
Lexington: Except for Goliath, we don't have names.
Tom: How do you tell each other apart?
Lexington: We look different.
Tom: But what do you call each other?
Brooklyn: Friend.

Lexington: [watching Broadway eat some slime in the rookery] I hope we're not down here long. He might eat us.

"Gargoyles: Reawakening (#1.13)" (1995)
Broadway: Boy that Surround Sound sounds great!
Lexington: I don't remember any explosions in "Bambi."

Lexington: Hey, looks like we beat them here.
[They get blasted by a laser]
Brooklyn: Remind me to be fashionably late next time.

Lexington: Goliath, you told Coldstone that gargoyles protect.
Hudson: Like we breathe boy, you know that.
Brooklyn: But... what do we protect?
Hudson: The clock tower!
Goliath: No. That is merely were we sleep. This island, Manhattan, this is our castle. From this day forward we protect all who live here, human and gargoyle alike.

"Gargoyles: High Noon (#2.13)" (1995)
Broadway: You're getting real good at bypassing alarms, Lex.
Lexington: Don't give me credit. It was *too* easy!
Hudson: And it's *too* quiet. I'd say MacBeth is expecting us.

Coldstone: You don't understand! Demona is still out there!
Lexington: Some of his circuits must be crossed. MacBeth and Demona would *never* work together.
Brooklyn: [Drops Demona on the ground next to MacBeth] Uh, guess again.
Goliath: They must have both escaped the Weird Sisters together.
Broadway: But why team up? They *hate* each other!
Hudson: Maybe misery loves company.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Ransom (#1.2)" (1996)
Janitor: [thinking Lexington is a toy] Man, they make these things uglier each year.
[walks away]
Lexington: Who's ugly?
[walks aways quietly]

Travis Marshall: [reading the kidnapper's demand on a report] Repeat: a gargoyle in exchange for the baby.
Hudson: I'll go. I'm old.
Lexington: NO! This is *my* fault! I'm going.
David Xanatos: Nobody's going anywhere. Giving into blackmail accomplishes nothing.
Fox: Oh, but, David...
David Xanatos: If our association with the gargoyles is revealed, our family will never be safe!
[Turns to Goliath]
David Xanatos: Help me. And we will find Alex.

"Gargoyles: Her Brother's Keeper (#1.12)" (1995)
Lexington: I can't see how we're doing any good here. We should be looking for Hyena and Jackal!
Broadway: Oh give it a rest! It's more important now to help Elisa.
Brooklyn: You wouldn't know what's important if it bit you on the...
Brooklyn: Knock it off you two! Look!
[They see a copter taking off from the castle]

Broadway: [as Lexington takes the controls] Sure you can fly this?
Lexington: Hey, it's just like the simulator game back at the tower.
Brooklyn: Famous last words.
[pause they all scream]
Lexington: Maybe not the same.

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 4 (#1.4)" (1994)
Goliath: Given what happened, I wish you *had* accompanied us last night, Hudson.
Brooklyn: Hudson?
Hudson: Aye, it's my name. And what would you make of it?
Broadway: It's a fine name.
Lexington: Hudson. I -uh- I like it.
Brooklyn: We should choose names too. Names that suit our new lives here.
Goliath: Oh? And what might they be?
Brooklyn: [scratches his head, and thinks] MM. Brooklyn. I'm Brooklyn!
Broadway: Broadway.
Lexington: Lexington. Do you like it?
Goliath: They're all fine names. I guess he'll need one as well.
Brooklyn: Oh ho. I've got one for him too. From now on, you're Bronx!

Brooklyn: Cool!
Goliath: What?
Broadway: It's a new word we learned last night.
Lexington: It indicates a positive response.

"Gargoyles: The Reckoning (#2.48)" (1996)
Lexington: [as he's fighting his clone] We can't beat these guys one-on-one.
Brooklyn: [Knocking Brentwood off Lexington] So let's use teamwork!
Hudson: Aye! But we'll need some room to move!

Broadway: Without Thailog these guys don't know what to do. Or where to go.
Lexington: Yeah, but we can't just bring them back to the Clock Tower, can we? I mean they kind of give me the creeps.
Talon: They can come live in the Labyrinth with my clan.
Burbank: You are our master now?
Talon: Better than that. I'll teach you to think for yourselves. And use verbs.

"Gargoyles: Hunter's Moon: Part One (#2.50)" (1996)
[as the sun rises]
Angela: This is a good life.
Broadway: Yeah. Just one thing would make it perfect.
Lexington: Breakfast?
Broadway: How did you know?
[Gargoyles turn to stone]

Brooklyn: [watching someone break in to a warehouse] Stay down. We've got the element of surprise. No sense in giving it away.
[the suspect rips off the door. Revealing the theif's identity]
Brooklyn: IT'S DEMONA!
[Brooklyn goes after her]
Broadway: So much for the element of surprise.
Lexington: Let's go.

"Gargoyles: The Mirror (#2.5)" (1995)
Elisa Maza: Third race?
Broadway: You know. Gargoyles, humans, and Oberon's children.
Lexington: I thought everyone knew this.
Brooklyn: Yeah. That guy Shakespeare wrote a play about them. "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Brooklyn: Wouldn't it be great to be a shape shifter?
Lexington: We wouldn't have to hide. We could fit in anywhere.
Broadway: We could find new friends, maybe even... love.
Hudson: Be careful what you wish for lad.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Genesis Undone (#1.8)" (1996)
Brooklyn: Letting Sevarius get his hooks in us is asking for trouble.
Hudson: Aye. The man has no conscience. There's no telling what he'll try.
Lexington: The clones have to trust him, they've got no choice. But *we* do.
Angela: Do we? Take another look.
[They look at the clones]
Angela: Then say we have a choice.

Lexington: Is it just me or do the clones look worse?
Hudson: It's not you, lad, each tick of the clock has become their foe.

"Gargoyles: The Green (#2.38)" (1996)
Lexington: Still having fun, Hyena?
Hyena: I see your momma never taught you two to take a hint.
[Fires a blast at both of them]
Broadway: Leave our mothers out of this!

Broadway: [Holding a Disk] She said it'll leave a lot of gargoyles dead.
Lexington: She also said it was magic. Maybe Hyena wanted to use it to cast an evil spell.
Broadway: And it could still fall into the wrong hands... We should probably destroy it.

"Gargoyles: Possession (#2.49)" (1996)
Lexington: Goliath, since when do you cast magic spells?
Goliath: Let's just say I learned a trick or two on Avalon.

Lexington: Nothing is clear to me tonight. I feel like I've been in a haze. How could Goliath leave Coldstone with us then return an hour later and be surprised to see him? And-and what's going to happen to - to Broadway and Angela?
Brooklyn: Those are very good questions.
[Knocks out Lexington. and laughs evilly]
Brooklyn: I have a feeling you won't like the answers.

"Gargoyles: Temptation (#1.7)" (1994)
Lexington: Hey! What happened to the motorcycle?
Brooklyn: Um... it... blew up.
Lexington: Oh. WHAT?

Broadway: Isn't it finished yet?
Brooklyn: Come on. You've ridden one before.
Lexington: You've ridden a horse before, could you build one from scratch?

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Angels in the Night (#1.13)" (????)
Brooklyn: [after a victim they saved runs away from them] Now that's gratitude for you.
Lexington: No matter how many we help, people still look at us like we're going to eat them.
Goliath: Thanks to John Castaway.
Hudson: Aye. His Quarrymen have spread their hatred and bigotry across the island like a virus.

Brooklyn: Maybe Xanatos was right. Why should we stay when we're not wanted?
Lexington: Yeah. Hey, what about all those places Goliath talked about, Avalon or - or Japan? Places where we could meet other gargoyles.
Brooklyn: Other *female* gargoyles.
Goliath: I understand your feelings. But we have worked all our lives to prove we deserve a place within human society. We have fought and suffered together to gain acceptance. Not because it was easy, but because it was right! We cannot throw all that away.

"Gargoyles: Hunter's Moon: Part 3 (#2.52)" (1996)
Lexington: [caught between two helicopters] We're surrounded.
[the police fire at them. Xanatos opens his helicopter]
David Xanatos: Can I interest you in a ride?
Goliath: It appears we have no choice.

Lexington: [Goliath and Broadway return. Angela's crying.Goliath hands the tracking device to Lexington] We heard everything. I - I
[sighs]
Lexington: I wish I'd never KEPT this thing!
Goliath: We still need it. Tomorrow night is the Hunter's Moon. It will be the last night they ever see. Elisa's death will be avenged!

"Gargoyles: Double Jeopardy (#2.16)" (1995)
Elisa Maza: And when the thunder passed, Goliath was gone.
Lexington: Oh, and you should have heard his laugh. Made my hair stand on end, if I had any.
Hudson: Hmm. That doesn't sound like the Goliath I know.
Elisa Maza: Tell me about it.
Broadway: No! Let's have *Goliath* tell us about it! Where is he?
Hudson: He and Brooklyn are out on patrol. Least that's where he said he'd be.

Broadway: Whoa, that was close.
Lexington: You okay, Elisa? What happened?
Elisa Maza: I'm not sure. Something forced me off the...
[Lightning flashes and in the distance they see a figure]
Elisa Maza: Goliath?

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: To Serve Mankind (#1.11)" (1996)
Broadway: [Sounds of a fight are coming from Lexington's room] Hurry! Sounds like something is tearing Lex apart!
[Lex emerges]
Lexington: Hey, I might be small, but I'm *still* a gargoyle.

Lexington: So what do we do now?
Goliath: The only thing we can do... tomorrow we start over.

"Gargoyles: The Edge (#1.10)" (1995)
Lexington: [the Steel Clan has stopped their attack on the gargoyles] Hey we're still alive. How come?
Brooklyn: It's- it's like they're waiting for something.
Goliath: No doubt for us to lead them to our new sanctuary.
Broadway: But why? Why not just kill us?
Goliath: Because Xanatos doesn't want to destroy us. He wants to *dominate* us!

"Gargoyles: Hunter's Moon: Part 2 (#2.51)" (1996)
Demona: They hunted me for ten centuries. It's time to put an end to it!
Lexington: Those three are immortal like you?
Demona: No. The vendetta passes from generation to generation. They wiped out the last gargoyles in Scotland. And for a thousand years they have hunted me. Why, I have no idea.
Goliath: They nearly killed our daughter.
Demona: They will pay!

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: Generations (#1.9)" (????)
Lexington: What about her?
Goliath: You will not go free to attack us again.
Demona: Oh, Goliath, you ought to know me better than that.

"Gargoyles: Revelations (#2.15)" (1995)
Elisa Maza: So they've taken an oath to protect the city as they once protected their castle in Scotland centuries ago.
Lexington: Except these days, the people we watch over have no clue we exist.
Hudson: Aye, and that's fine by us.

"Gargoyles: Future Tense (#2.43)" (1996)
Lexington: Glad to have you back, Goliath. Better late than never.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: The Journey (#1.1)" (1996)
Fox: Oh, you're great with him, Lex.
Lexington: [sarcastically] That means a lot coming from you.
Fox: Listen, I know you and I got off on the wrong foot. But now that we're living under the same turrets. I'd like to start over.
Lexington: I'll give it a shot, for Alex's sake.

"Gargoyles: The Gathering: Part 2 (#2.45)" (1996)
Lexington: Looks like the whole city's asleep.
Goliath: Oberon's handiwork. It *must* be!
Brooklyn: He's that powerful and we're taking him on? Why are we risking our necks to help Xanatos?
Goliath: I know the pain of being separated from my child. I would not wish it on my *worst* enemy!
Hudson: [Looking at Angela] You've had quite an influence.
Angela: It's mutual.

"Gargoyles: Leader of the Pack (#2.1)" (1995)
Goliath: What is it Elisa?
Elisa Maza: Bad news I'm afraid. The pack escape from Ryker's Island.
Lexington: WHAT?
Brooklyn: Nice wake up call.

"Gargoyles: City of Stone: Part One (#2.9)" (1995)
Lexington: [after saving them from bank robbers] Relax folks, you're safe
Brendan: Get away!
Margot: Don't come near me!
Brooklyn: [sarcastically] Don't gush all over us, it's embarrassing.

"Gargoyles: Kingdom (#2.26)" (1996)
Lexington: Do you think Elisa's with Goliath and Bronx?
Hudson: Good question. Here's another: what do we do now?
[Everyone turns to Brooklyn]
Brooklyn: Why are you looking at me?
Hudson: Because Goliath chose you to lead the clan should something happen to him. And I'd say disappearing without a trace qualifies as "something."
Brooklyn: He'll be back! He has to.
Broadway: Yeah. But what if he doesn't?

"Gargoyles: Awakening: Part 5 (#1.5)" (1994)
Broadway: I wish I had time for a snack.
Lexington: You just ate.
Broadway: I know, Chinese food. It was good, too. But for some reason, an hour later I was hungry again.

"Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles: The Dying of the Light (#1.6)" (1996)
Broadway: I should never have let him go off alone.
Goliath: Hudson would have been more deeply wounded if you had forced your assistance on him.
Lexington: Yeah, but the Quarrymen are all over the place.
Brooklyn: Why would he take the chance?
Goliath: We must respect that Hudson is a warrior, and proud. He will return to us, when he is ready.

"Gargoyles: The Gathering: Part 1 (#2.44)" (1996)
Hudson: [Bronx jumps on Hudson and licks him. Hudson laughs] All right you great beast. Enough! I'm glad to see you too.
Lexington: Bronx! Where's Goliath?
Broadway: And Elisa?
Goliath: Right here.

"Gargoyles: City of Stone: Part 2 (#2.10)" (1995)
Lexington: [looking at the statue of Elisa] It's a pretty good likeness.
Brooklyn: I don't think so. The nose is all wrong.

"Gargoyles: Eye of the Beholder (#2.7)" (1995)
Lexington: Oh Halloween! Tonight's the night!
Brooklyn: I can hardly wait! We can walk around on the streets and nobody will know who we are.
Broadway: Better yet, no one will know *what* we are!
