"Arrow: My Name Is Oliver Queen (#3.23)" (2015)
Ra's al Ghul: You were asleep.
Oliver Queen: I was dreaming.
Ra's al Ghul: Ibn Sirin once wrote there are three types of dreams - there are ones about truth, there are ones about desire, and they are ones about temptation. What did you dream of?
Oliver Queen: Rebirth... as Ra's al Ghul.
Ra's al Ghul: There is no greater burden than the one you are about to take on - the annihilation of one's home.
Oliver Queen: It is necessary to complete my ascension.
Ra's al Ghul: And I will be there to steady your hand when the time comes.
Oliver Queen: I appreciate your assistance.
Ra's al Ghul: Soon you will wear this. And you will command a multitude, and I shall call you Ra's.

Ra's al Ghul: You were delivered by the prophecy. You wed my daughter. Your name is Al Sah-Him and you are Warith al Ghul!
Oliver Queen: My name is Oliver Queen!
Ra's al Ghul: Oliver Queen is dead. And soon, you will be, too!

John Diggle: You trusted Malcolm Merlyn more than you did the two people closest to you!
Oliver Queen: John, it wasn't about trust! It was about making sure that you and you were safe. I had to keep the circle as small as possible.
Felicity Smoak: How did you expect to repair all this after you got back?
Oliver Queen: I didn't. I flew with Ra's and the virus to Starling and I sabotaged the plane. A plan that was to kill Ra's and destroy the virus. It didn't work.
Felicity Smoak: How did you expect to survive the plane crash? You didn't. You never expected to have this conversation. You were planning on dying. So that was your big plan? Sacrificing yourself to take out Ra's?
Oliver Queen: It was the only way. At least now it didn't work, I get a chance to tell both of you how sorry I am.
John Diggle: Sorry won't cut it, Oliver. Not this time. But we have bigger problems than hurt feelings and broken trusts.
Oliver Queen: Laurel needs to contact her father. Ray needs a way to counteract the virus. I'm sure Malcolm told you we don't have a lot of time.

[Oliver has shot arrows into General Grieve]
Tatsu Yamashiro: Oliver! What have you done?
Oliver Queen: He failed this city. And I'm giving him the justice he deserves.
Tatsu Yamashiro: This isn't justice. This... is wrong.
Maseo Yamashiro: He's still alive. Just passed out from the pain.
[Maseo shoots Grieve]

Oliver Queen: Felicity... I can't defeat Ra's al Ghul.
Felicity Smoak: Oliver Queen can't. The Arrow can't. Both those men tried and both those men failed. You remember what you said to me during that night in Nanda Parbat? You're no longer either of those men. You've become... someone else. Become something else. This... is different now. Because despite your best efforts, you've allowed yourself to feel something. I know you think that's a weakness, it's not. It's your key to beating Ra's. Don't fight to die. Fight to live.

John Diggle: I'm no superhero.
Oliver Queen: You're a hero. For three years, you've been a rock. The city's rock, my rock. For three years, you have been the person I can count on. I'm still counting on you.
John Diggle: Oliver, I don't know if I can get past what happened between the two of us.
Oliver Queen: I'm not asking you to.
John Diggle: I'll think on it.

Oliver Queen: Be safe out there, okay?
Thea Queen: As safe as anybody with a mask on can be. But, actually, I was thinking, um, maybe I can call myself the Red Arrow.
Oliver Queen: Hmm. I think I already told everyone to call you Speedy.

Malcolm Merlyn: We've come along way, you and I. I've always looked at you as a son, Oliver. And I'm glad that we got to work together to trust as we did.
Oliver Queen: I will never forgive you for what you did to Sara. And my sister. Ever.
Malcolm Merlyn: Does that mean we're enemies once more?
Oliver Queen: That depends what you do with your end of the bargain.

Oliver Queen: My name is Oliver Queen. After five years in hell, I've returned home for only one goal - to save my city. And I did. I became a hero who helped people. But now it's time to be someone else. It's time for me to be something else.

Ra's al Ghul: Unlike you, thousands of honorable men will honor my death when I leave this Earth.
Oliver Queen: [stabs Ra's] No, they will kneel before the next Ra's al Ghul.
[in Arabic]
Oliver Queen: Forgive and have mercy on him. Protect him from the punishment of the grave, and the torment of the Fire.
Ra's al Ghul: [last words] I knew I chose you well, boy.

[last lines]
Oliver Queen: Can I say something strange? I'm happy.

Oliver Queen: [crashes through a window] Damien Darhk.
Damian Darhk's Assistant: You know, the hotel's gonna bill me for that window.

Assassin: I have weapons. And I have no virus. Ra's al Ghul awaits you on the Starling City dam. He wishes to be in your presence as your city dies.
Oliver Queen: And what makes him think that I won't just stay focused on saving my city?
Assassin: Because he knows of your deluded belief that you can defeat him in battle. And you know as long as the Demon's Head lives, he will continue to threaten your home.

Oliver Queen: When I started this, I wanted keep you away from it as far as possible, because that has always been my instinct - to go it alone. But the truth is that we won tonight because I wasn't alone. I thought that this crusade would only end with my death. But even if I had died tonight, it would live on because of you.
Oliver Queen: [to Ray] And you.
Oliver Queen: [to Thea] Oh, and you.
Laurel Lance: That's true. This city isn't lacking masks.
Oliver Queen: Heroes. Which is why I no longer to be one.
Felicity Smoak: What are you saying?
Oliver Queen: [to Felicity] Ra's took the Arrow identity from me. I couldn't be that person even I wanted to be. And I don't want to be. I told you that I couldn't be the Arrow and be with you. I want to be with you. You told me that I have become someone else, and I would like to... maybe discover a little more about that person. If you come with me.
Thea Queen: With you where?
Oliver Queen: Um... someplace far away from here. Even without me, Starling still had has heroes to watch it.

Felicity Smoak: So. where are we going? I'm thinking of a state can annul a Nanda Parbat wedding.
Oliver Queen: [chuckles] Can I say something strange? I'm happy.

"Arrow: Pilot (#1.1)" (2012)
[first lines]
Oliver Queen: The name of the island they found me on is Lian Yu. It's Mandarin for "purgatory." I've been stranded here for five years. I've dreamt of my rescue every cold black night since then. For five years I've had only one thought, one goal - survive. Survive and one day return home. The island held many dangers. To live, I had make myself more than what I was, to forge myself into a weapon. I am returning not the boy who was shipwrecked, but the man who will bring to those who have poisoned my city. My name is Oliver Queen.

Thea Queen: You did not come back from a deserted island with a souvenir.
Oliver Queen: It's a hozen. And in Buddhism it means reconnecting. I kept it in hopes in one day, it would reconnect me with you.
Tommy Merlyn: A rock! That is sweet. You know, I want one of those t-shirts that says "my friend was a castaway and all I got was this crappy shirt."

Tommy Merlyn: Now by my rough estimate, you have not had sex in 1,839 days. As your wingman, I highly recommend Carmen Golden.
Oliver Queen: Which one is she?
Tommy Merlyn: The one that looks like the chick from Twilight.
Oliver Queen: What's Twilight?
Tommy Merlyn: You're so better off not knowing.

Oliver Queen: I never meant to...
Laurel Lance: She was my sister. I couldn't be angry because she was dead. I couldn't grieve because I was so angry. That's what happens when your sister dies while screwing your boyfriend.

Thea Queen: I missed you so much.
Oliver Queen: You were with me the whole time.

Walter Steele: I didn't realize you took Russian in college, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: I didn't realize you wanted to sleep with my mother, Walter.

Oliver Queen: [to the Criminal] You have failed this city.

Oliver Queen: I just wanted a second to myself.
John Diggle: I would believe you, Mr. Queen, if you weren't so full of crap.

Oliver Queen: [spotting Thea at his homecoming party] Who let you in here?
Thea Queen: I believe it was somebody who said "Right this way, Miss Queen."

Oliver Queen: I want to be the person you always told me I could be.

Oliver Queen: [SCPD interrupts his homecoming party] Detective. This is a private party.
Quentin Lance: Yeah, well, there was an incident at Adam Hunt's building tonight. Know anything about that?
Oliver Queen: [feigning ignorance] Who's Adam Hunt?
Quentin Lance: He's a millionaire bottom feeder. And I'm kind of surprised you aren't friends.
Oliver Queen: I've been out of town for a while.

Oliver Queen: [Voice narrated by Oliver as he walks in his room] After five years, everything that was once familiar is now unrecognizable.
Oliver Queen: [Looks in the mirror] The face I see in the mirror, is a stranger.

Thea Queen: [Refers to the island] What was it like there?
Oliver Queen: Cold.

Oliver Queen: You killed that man.
Gunman #2: You don't have to do this!
Oliver Queen: Yes I do. Nobody can know my secret.
[Breaks his neck]

Oliver Queen: Laurel, you always saw the best in me. Right now, that's what you are doing, you're looking at me and you're wondering if that island changed me somehow, if it made me a better person. It didn't. Stay away from me, otherwise I am just gonna hurt you again, but this time it will be worse.
Laurel Lance: You know what, Oliver? You are wrong, that island did change you, at least now you are honest.

"The Flash: Flash vs. Arrow (#1.8)" (2014)
Barry Allen: Uh, well, since you guys are here, why don't we team up? I'll help you find your boomerang man, you can help me find my super rage-a-holic.
Felicity Smoak: We'd love to.
Oliver Queen: No, we'll handle our business and head home.
Felicity Smoak: The fastest way to find out everything we need to know about the boomerang is to sic S.T.A.R. Labs on it.
Oliver Queen: Enough people know my secret identity.
Felicity Smoak: Fine. I'll go. They already know who I am. You can drop me off and I will meet up with you later.
Barry Allen: How 'bout I give you a lift.
Felicity Smoak: Whoo!
[takes Felicity and speeds off]
John Diggle: Man, that's not freaking you out?

John Diggle: I mean, do you think he can do everything really fast? I mean, like, how fast do you think he goes to the bathroom after he's eaten something?
Oliver Queen: This is you watching my back?

Oliver Queen: Okay.
Barry Allen: Okay, what?
Oliver Queen: Okay, we'll help you catch your bad guy.
Barry Allen: Great. Meta-human.
Oliver Queen: I am not calling him that, Barry.

Oliver Queen: Last month you took on a man named Leonard Snart.
Barry Allen: We call him Captain Cold.
Oliver Queen: We can talk about you giving your enemies silly code names later.
Barry Allen: You mean, like, over coffee with Deathstroke and the Huntress?

Oliver Queen: There is a difference, Barry, between having powers and having precision.
Barry Allen: Okay, when I came here thinking 'bout going out and helping people, you said I could be an inspiration.
Oliver Queen: Living this life... well, it takes more than a mask. It takes discipline. And since you are probably as stubborn as I am...
[Oliver brings out his bow and arrow]
Barry Allen: W'ya... What is THAT for?
Oliver Queen: You're gonna run over there, you're gonna come back at me, and you're gonna get hit with an arrow.
Barry Allen: [laughs] No, I'm not.
Oliver Queen: [laughs] Yes, you are.
Barry Allen: Okay. Fine. I will humor you.
[Barry runs up the field]
Barry Allen: Ready?
Oliver Queen: Ready.
[Oliver fires an arrow at Barry, he runs towards Oliver and catches it]
Barry Allen: Nice try.
[Hidden arrows behind Barry strike him in his back]
Barry Allen: Gah! Ah! What, you shot me?
Oliver Queen: I heard you heal fast.
[Oliver pulls the arrows out of Barry's back]
Barry Allen: Ahh! Oh, God!

Oliver Queen: There's one more thing and you're not going to like it.
Barry Allen: Does it involve you shooting me in the back?
Oliver Queen: No. No, the heart.
[looks over at Iris]
Oliver Queen: That's not gonna work out for you. And you need to let her go, for both of your sakes. Guys like us don't get the girl.

Barry Allen: Hey, thanks for showing up back there, but I had that.
Oliver Queen: Uh-huh.
Barry Allen: What? I was ready to make my move!
Oliver Queen: What move? The one to the morgue?

Oliver Queen: You're late. Barry, how can you have super speed and still not be on time?
Barry Allen: Sorry, I guess the super tardiness kinda neutralizes it.

Oliver Queen: I have a prison like this. Mine's on a nearly inhospitable island in the north China Sea, but this works too.

Oliver Queen: [about Wells] There is something off about that guy.

Felicity Smoak: Harrison Wells and Barry's cop foster dad both said you were dangerous and a bad influence. Barry defended you.
Oliver Queen: You're gonna hawk me about this until I say yes, aren't you?
Felicity Smoak: I'm a hawker.

Oliver Queen: Barry, I have been living this life for almost eight years, encountering things that you can't even fathom, and I am still alive. Not because super-speed kept me out of the ground. It was because I realized that I needed to keep learning, keep training, keep getting smarter, and until you get that, despite your best intentions, you will do more harm than good.
Barry Allen: I finally see it. You're a little bit jealous of me, aren't you? For a guy like you - handsome, rich, can have any girl he wants - jealousy's probably a new emotion for you, so you might be a little slow to get what it is that you're feeling.
Oliver Queen: That's your theory?
Barry Allen: Absolutely. So you can train, lift weights, climb that stupid barn till your heart explodes, but you'll never be as fast as I am. You'll never be what I am, and that's got to hurt your rock-hard pride, Ollie.

Oliver Queen: My identity is a closely-guarded secret known only to a few and, if it were to get out, will endanger my family, my friends, and it would embolden my enemies to retaliate at me through them.
Felicity Smoak: What Oliver is trying to say is that he had a lovely time working with you and getting to know each of you, and he can't wait to do it again soon.
Oliver Queen: Right.
Cisco Ramon: You know, it didn't sound like that's what he was saying.

Dr. Harrison Wells: Mr. Queen, I met your father once. Charity event. One of the things we spoke of was you. I think he would be very proud of the man you've become.
Oliver Queen: Thank you. And, please, call me Oliver.

"Arrow: Green Arrow (#4.1)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: Felicity Smoak... you have failed this omelet.

Felicity Smoak: Hey, how'd you like company back as an early Christmas gift?
Oliver Queen: You're doing a better job of running it than I would.
Felicity Smoak: It's flirting with bankruptcy.
Oliver Queen: Exactly. This is flirting.

Quentin Lance: Prodigal Arrow returns.
Oliver Queen: Captain Lance.
Quentin Lance: I thought that was you last night, some mask over your head. Felt like old times.
Oliver Queen: I'm only trying to help.
Quentin Lance: That were true, you wouldn't have come back. This town started going to crap the moment you put on that hood. You brought madness into all of our lives, and the monster you were inspired monsters.
Oliver Queen: Maybe. But I'm not a monster anymore.
Quentin Lance: Then what are you?

Felicity Smoak: How was your jog?
Oliver Queen: It was good. I'm getting used to running without chasing after someone.

[Oliver and Felicity are sitting at a fancy dinner]
Felicity Smoak: So what's the occasion?
Oliver Queen: Do we need an occasion for dinner?
Felicity Smoak: No, ever since you discovered cooking life's been a never ending episode of Master Chef. But this isn't dinner, this is a production. Are we celebrating something?
Oliver Queen: Sort of depends on how dessert goes.
Felicity Smoak: Oh no. No, no. I'm almost disgustingly full.
Oliver Queen: You are going to have to try a bite or two of this souffle.
[Doorbell rings]
Felicity Smoak: Well, diet saved by the bell.

Laurel Lance: We need the Arrow.
Oliver Queen: The Arrow's dead.
Laurel Lance: We're hoping that's not the case. We're hoping that you can't change who you are in your bones.

[as they drive towards Star City]
Oliver Queen: It's tough not to look out of this window and wonder.
Felicity Smoak: Wonder what?
Oliver Queen: What did we really accomplish?

Oliver Queen: Felicity, wanna play a game?
Felicity Smoak: What game are we playing?
Oliver Queen: We're playing the "reason that you know so much about these ghosts is because you've been helping the team behind my back" game.

Oliver Queen: I saw you took my advice on the identity concealment.
John Diggle: Oliver what are we doing? Pretending everything's normal? That we are normal?
Oliver Queen: I'm looking for a way in.
John Diggle: I was furious to think that you trusted Malcolm Merlyn more than you trusted me, but then I realized that I'm not angry at you, I'm angry at myself for thinking you're someone that you clearly aren't.
Oliver Queen: I don't know what that means.
John Diggle: Oliver, after everything we've been through, man, I couldn't fathom why you didn't trust me. Then I realized you couldn't. It's not who you are. You don't trust. You don't love. You were able to fool Ra's and join the League because inside you are every bit as dark as they are.

Thea Queen: So what are you gonna call yourself now? Everybody thinks Roy was the Arrow.
John Diggle: Well he won't need a code name if he's headed back to Ivy Town.
Oliver Queen: [looks at Felicity] Well I guess I need a code name. Felicity and I, we have missed this. We've missed all of you. And the city is far worse off than we thought.
Laurel Lance: What are you talking about?
Oliver Queen: The man leading the Ghosts is Damien Darhk.
Laurel Lance: Darhk left Star City months ago. Why would he come back?
John Diggle: Did Ra's tell you anything about Darhk that would give us any idea about his agenda?
Oliver Queen: He said that Damien Darhk had a hive of operatives at his disposal.
John Diggle: Hive. That was the exact word he used?
Oliver Queen: Yes. Why? Does it mean something to you?
[Diggle flashes back]
John Diggle: Who would want to kill Andy?
Deadshot: I don't know their names. Just an alias. H.I.V.E.
[back in the present day]
John Diggle: No. No, nothing.

Felicity Smoak: So my guilt for displacing Thea is only slightly outweighed by how amazing this place is.
Oliver Queen: Thea's actually been living with Laurel for the past few months. Ra's stabbed her right over there. We can get a rug.

Barry Allen: Sorry I missed the funeral.
Oliver Queen: Zoom?
Barry Allen: Yeah.
Oliver Queen: There was a time that I thought this was my fault, that I brought this darkness upon us. But now I know it's not my fault. It's my responsibility.
Barry Allen: Responsibility to do what?
Oliver Queen: To end it, I'm gonna kill him.
Barry Allen: Is there anything I can do?
Oliver Queen: I wanna be left alone.
Barry Allen: Okay.
Oliver Queen: [Walks towards the grave and sheds a tear]

"Arrow: Honor Thy Father (#1.2)" (2012)
Oliver Queen: I'm sorry.
Laurel Lance: You've apologised already.
Oliver Queen: And it will never be enough.

Oliver Queen: I got lucky.
John Diggle: I'm not the man you wanna take for a fool, Mr. Queen. You understand me?
Oliver Queen: Yes.
John Diggle: I think I'm just beginning to understand what kind of man you are.
Oliver Queen: Shouldn't take you very long. I'm shallow.

Oliver Queen: [voice over] I wanted to give Martin Sommers the chance to confess in face of court's justice. But he chose to go after someone I care about instead. He's still going to face justice. It'll just be a different kind.

Oliver Queen: All that time plotting my return at the island, I didn't realize how hard it would be to reconnect with Mom, Thea... Laurel... and I didn't... I didn't know how painful it would be to keep my secret. You asked me to save the city. To right your wrongs. I will. I swear. But to do that, I can't be the Oliver that everyone wants me to be, which means sometimes, to honor your wishes... I need to dishonor your memory. I'm sorry...

Oliver Queen: Before the island i was a jerk, but now i'm a damaged jerk.

[last lines]
John Diggle: Will you be going out tonight, sir?
Oliver Queen: Definitely.

Oliver Queen: [tosses Diggle an ice-pack] I'd say thanks, but I really don't think that would cover it.
John Diggle: Well, like I told your cop friend, I was just doing my job. Besides, I think I'm the one who should be thanking you.
Oliver Queen: [confused] For what?
John Diggle: The knife.
Oliver Queen: The knife. I got lucky.
John Diggle: That was a kitchen knife. It wasn't even weighted properly, yet you threw it for accuracy across a ten-foot room.
Oliver Queen: Exactly. I got lucky.

Oliver Queen: [about Green Hood news report] This guy gets more air time than the Kardashians.

Oliver Queen: I hired you to protect my son. Now, I'm not a professional body guard, but it seems to me that the first requirement would be managing to stay next to the man that you're hired to protect!

Oliver Queen: Where are you going?
Thea Queen: Uh... somewhere loud and smoky. And don't bother trying to pickpocket my stash this time, 'cause I'm gonna go get drunk instead.
Oliver Queen: Thea. Do you think this is what dad would want for you?
Thea Queen: Dead people don't want anything. It's one of the benefits of being dead.
Oliver Queen: I was dead. And I wanted a lot.
Thea Queen: Except for your family. You've been home a week, and all you do is avoid mom, ignore Walter, and judge me. Don't wait up.

Oliver Queen: [apologizing for ditching Diggle] Sorry to give you so much grief.
John Diggle: I served three tours in Afghanistan, Mr. Queen. You don't even come close to my definition of grief.

Oliver Queen: My mother wants me to join the company. Yeah, take my rightful place.
Laurel Lance: I can't exactly picture you as master of the universe.

"The Flash: Invasion! (#3.8)" (2016)
Supergirl: Okay. I think I have this. Oliver.
Oliver Queen: Green Arrow.
Supergirl: Dig.
John Diggle: Spartan.
Supergirl: Thea.
Thea Queen: Speedy.
Supergirl: Okay. And Sara.
Sara Lance: White Canary.
Supergirl: Jax and Professor Stein.
Jefferson Jackson, Dr. Martin Stein: Firestorm.
Supergirl: Ray.
Ray Palmer: Palmer. The Atom.
Supergirl: And Mick.
Mick Rory: Hmm? Oh. Heat Wave.

Jefferson Jackson: I think we should be on the up and up with everybody. We got to tell 'em.
Oliver Queen: We're going up against a bunch of aliens, and you want to tell people that their lives have been affected by time travel? One sci-fi problem at a time.

Felicity Smoak: What's so urgent that you had to rush to Star City?
Barry Allen: Aliens.
Oliver Queen: Aliens?
Barry Allen: Aliens.
John Diggle: I swear to God, Barry. My life was somewhat normal life before I met you.

Thea Queen: Count me in.
Oliver Queen: For what? I thought you retired.
Thea Queen: Yeah, but it's... it's aliens.
Felicity Smoak: Aw, that is so cute. You guys are just gonna get together and go fight some aliens - have you lost your mind? They're are aliens, and there's only four of you.
Barry Allen: Not if we get Stein and, you know, all the others.
Oliver Queen: They're calling themselves the Legends.
Thea Queen: Egotistical but catchy.

Barry Allen: So, who was that guy?
Oliver Queen: That was Vigilante, and we nearly had him.
Barry Allen: You "nearly" had him? Ollie, it looked like he was about to "Scarface" you guys. That's...
Oliver Queen: Barry, is there something that I can do for you?

Barry Allen: These are the Dominators. We don't know much about them.
Supergirl: Except they're really strong. I... I heard a lot of stories about them when I was a kid. They... they came to my planet before I was born, they did experiments on a lot of people, killed a lot more.
Thea Queen: Well, they're not the only ones with superhuman strength. I hear Barry says you're more powerful than a locomotive?
Oliver Queen: We should use Kara as a stand-in for training.
Mick Rory: Since when was Robin Hood calling the shots?

Barry Allen: I was excited about the two of you guys meeting each other. Oliver was the first person to train me.
Supergirl: Really?
Barry Allen: Yeah.
Supergirl: Well, you did a really good job.
Oliver Queen: That's 'cause he didn't hold back. I shot him. You can't hold back, either.
Barry Allen: He did. Shoot me.
Supergirl: Ouch. Uh... 'kay. Um, are you sure about that? 'Cause I... I just met these people.
Oliver Queen: These people need to understand this isn't going to be easy. Don't hold back. Especially against me.
Supergirl: Yes, sir.
[as Oliver leaves]
Supergirl: Wow. Does he not like me?
Barry Allen: No, he... he's like that with everyone. It's... he'll warm up to you.

Barry Allen: [Stein plays the message he and Jax found on the Waverider] A war is coming, Captain Hunter, and at some point, you're gonna be called back to Central City to fight it, so you need to know that while you and your team have been in the Temporal Zone, I made a choice that affected the timeline. As you know, whenever you alter the past, those changes affect the present and get compounded in the future. When you return, you will be in the new timeline I created, where everyone's past and everyone's future has been affected, including yours. When you come back, don't trust anything or anyone, not even me.
Barry Allen: [listening] Where did you get that from?
Jefferson Jackson: We found it in a secret room inside the Waverider. It was sent by you, forty years from now.
Oliver Queen: Forty years from now? Barry, what the hell does this mean?
Barry Allen: It means I screwed things up when I changed the past.
Dr. Martin Stein: What did you do?
Barry Allen: I went back in time. I saved my mom. I created a timeline where she's alive; it's called Flashpoint, and I lived in it for a few months, and... until I realized that I made a big mistake, and I tried to reset the timeline and put things back to how they're supposed to be, but...
Jefferson Jackson: But it didn't work.
Barry Allen: No.
Oliver Queen: Wow. Barry, that's...
Dr. Martin Stein: So, what's changed since you did this?
Barry Allen: Cisco's brother is dead, Caitlin has powers, Diggle has a son now instead of a daughter.
Oliver Queen: What? John had a daughter?
Barry Allen: I didn't just screw up my life, man, I screwed up everybody's lives. And apparently, everybody's lives in the future.

Cisco Ramon: [having accidentally discovered Barry's message from the future] This is really you. Like, future you.
Barry Allen: Come on, look...
Cisco Ramon: You told them, right?
Barry Allen: I'm gonna tell them, yeah. When this is finished.
Cisco Ramon: When this is finished? Even though you're about to lead them through an alien war? Even after Flashpoint? After everything you've messed up, all the lives you've changed, you still don't think you should tell them?
Sara Lance: Tells us what?
Barry Allen: [Cisco gives him a non-verbal "go ahead" gesture] Uh... Jax and Professor Stein found a message from me in the future saying that right now, I can't be trusted.
Sara Lance: And why would future you say that?
Barry Allen: I think because I went back in time and changed the timeline, and now things here are different than before I left, including some of your lives.
Supergirl: Some of our lives? Like... like who?
Barry Allen: Cisco. Caitlin. Wally. Dig.
John Diggle: Me? Why? What... what happened?
Oliver Queen: [quietly] Hey. Apparently, you had a daughter.
John Diggle: I had a daughter, Barry?
Barry Allen: Baby John was baby Sara.
John Diggle: So, wait, let me get this right. You just, uh... you just erased a daughter from my life?
Barry Allen: Yeah.

Felicity Smoak: Guys, it's Lyla. The president's been abducted by the Dominators. She needs us now.
Barry Allen: Okay, you guys go, all right? I'm gonna sit this one out, obviously. You have Supergirl. She's just as fast as I am. Get the president. We can talk about this later.
[the team starts to head out]
Barry Allen: You still trust me, right?
Supergirl: I'll always trust you, but it might take more to convince them.
Barry Allen: If you need me, I'll be there.
Oliver Queen: Guys, this is... Hey!
[everyone stops]
Oliver Queen: This is crazy! Everyone is going, including Barry. I... I'm not going without him.
John Diggle: Then you'll be here, Oliver.

"Arrow: The Offer (#3.16)" (2015)
Ra's al Ghul: Ra's is a title greater than one man. Wing Ta Leo Wo Chey.
Oliver Queen: Am I supposed to understand what that means?
Ra's al Ghul: No. It is from a dialect no longer spoken. Said to me by a man whose place I took. Contemplating the same offer. And what it means is, a tale to be told begins thus.

Oliver Queen: Is all of this suppose to impress me?
Ra's al Ghul: No. It's to inform you. Surely men have branded you a murderer, a torturer. But see, I would never shame you with such bluntness. Because I see it in your eyes. The struggle you have with your dual identity. Oliver Queen and the Arrow. Neither are giving you what you crave.
Oliver Queen: But becoming Ra's al Ghul will?
Ra's al Ghul: Oliver Queen is a man destined to be alone. He loves a woman who knows he cannot have.
Oliver Queen: You don't know me.
Ra's al Ghul: But I know the Arrow. "Al Sahhim." You will never be anything more than a vigilante for those whose lives he saves at the risk of your own. And the city will turn on you, and your closets allies within the police department will call you a criminal. You will be scorned and hunted, and then killed. Dying as you began your crusade... alone.

Felicity Smoak: You okay?
Oliver Queen: I handed some of Amar's men over to Lance. He knows the Arrow knew about Sara, didn't tell him.
Felicity Smoak: What did Lance say?
Oliver Queen: Some variation of "go to hell."

Oliver Queen: Target's name is Michael Amar.
John Diggle: Yeah, got him here. Got out of Iron Heights two months ago.
Oliver Queen: He escaped?
John Diggle: No, released. Turns out he was serving a sentence based on a coerced confession. Cops beat it out of him.
Roy Harper: He confessed to a crime he didn't commit? I might sew my mouth shut, too.

John Diggle: You want to tell me what's going on now?
Oliver Queen: Ra's predicted this. He said the city would turn against me and I would die alone. And when we come back, and the first thing that happens is Lance shutting me out, and... I see Felicity with Palmer. It's like he looked into my future.
John Diggle: Sounds to me Ra's is playing with your head. Question is, why are you letting him?
Oliver Queen: He wants me to take his place in the League of Assassins. That's why he let us go. As a sign of good faith.
John Diggle: Is there even a world where he can imagine you saying yes?
Oliver Queen: He said I can do more as the new Ra's than I can ever do as Oliver Queen or the Arrow. That I would have unlimited resources. That I could make a difference, not just a dent.
John Diggle: You're not really considering this. Just because Captain Lance is angry and Felicity is momentarily unavailable.
Oliver Queen: It's more than that. I just... John, tell my honestly... What have we accomplished?
John Diggle: [sighs] Oliver...
Oliver Queen: All the people that we put away, John, they got out. The city is no better off. The Arrow is not... is not making a difference. And if I just can't be me... and the Arrow isn't enough...
John Diggle: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: Then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul.

Oliver Queen: Is Malcolm still alive?
Thea Queen: In my head, I've already slit his throat seven times. Broke his neck twice.

Oliver Queen: Where are you going?
Thea Queen: To go buy my evil dad some soup.

Felicity Smoak: [whistles] Nice work.
Oliver Queen: Not without a few casualties, but Amar is in custody.
Felicity Smoak: So that's a no on the whole victory dance thing, then?
Oliver Queen: You know me. I don't dance. But I do occasionally say... thank you.
Felicity Smoak: You're welcome.
Oliver Queen: And you were right.
Felicity Smoak: Ah, a "thank you" and a "you were right." I should really be recording this.

Oliver Queen: We went up against a new crew last night. One of them had his lips sewn shut.
Felicity Smoak: Is that a real thing?
Oliver Queen: Apparently.
Felicity Smoak: Ugh. If only I had known I had that option.

"Arrow: Three Ghosts (#2.9)" (2013)
John Diggle: Kid saved your live, Oliver.
Felicity Smoak: This is the point in a lifesaving emergency where you thank the person that did the lifesaving.
Oliver Queen: You told him who I am.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, I did.
Oliver Queen: That's not your secret to tell, Felicity. I decide who finds out my identity.
Felicity Smoak: Well, we didn't have have time to get your vote, what with you unconscious and dying.
Oliver Queen: What happens when he leaves here and goes right to the police?
Felicity Smoak: He wouldn't do that.
Barry Allen: I wouldn't do that.
Felicity Smoak: I trust him.
Oliver Queen: I don't!
Felicity Smoak: What are you gonna do, put an arrow in him?
Oliver Queen: I am considering it.
Felicity Smoak: [to Barry] Don't worry, he's kidding!
Felicity Smoak: How is this any different from when your mother shot you and you came to me for help?
Barry Allen: Your mother shot you?
Felicity Smoak: Or when you brought Dig down here when he was poisoned with curare?
Oliver Queen: The difference is that I did my homework on both of you! I just don't tell people easily.
Barry Allen: I'm not gonna tell anyone. And you don't have to thank me, but you should thank her instead of being kind of a jerk. Mr. Queen.

Oliver Queen: Roy, this is gonna hurt.
Roy Harper: My anger's dulling the pain.
Sin: [holding a bottle of vodka] This will dull it better.
[Roy takes a drink of the vodka, Oliver takes it and pours it on Roy's wound]

Oliver Queen: Barry. The rat poison that you gave me... are there any side effects?
Barry Allen: Uh, yeah, I think hallucinations, maybe. And excessive sweating. Are you sweating excessively?
Felicity Smoak: You're hallucinating? What do you see?
Oliver Queen: A girl named Shado that was with me on the island.
Felicity Smoak: Shado. Sara. How many women were you marooned with? Sure this wasn't Fantasy Island?
Barry Allen: You did train in a jungle or forest environment, hence the green.

John Diggle: If you get bored, I keep a book of crossword puzzles in the glove box.
Oliver Queen: That's not funny.

John Diggle: "Solomon Grundy, born on a Monday..."
Oliver Queen: Christened on Tuesday. I know the poem. It symbolizes the seven stages of life - from birth to death.
John Diggle: What stage is this guy in?

Slade Wilson: You told everyone when you started this crusade it was about making up for your father's sins. That was a lie. This charade is to atone for your sins.
Oliver Queen: You're dead.
Slade Wilson: You are not a hero. Or a friend. Or a brother. You are nothing. Do not turn your back on me, not again.
Oliver Queen: You're gone.
Slade Wilson: Wherever I am... it's time you joined me. They say a coward dies a thousands deaths, but even that wouldn't be enough for you.
Oliver Queen: I tried to save you! And her.
Slade Wilson: But you couldn't. Just like you couldn't save this city. The island didn't make you strong kid. It revealed you to be weak.

Oliver Queen: Tommy?
Tommy Merlyn: You're not gonna die down here.
Oliver Queen: Tommy, I'm sorry. I let you die.
Tommy Merlyn: You didn't let me die, Ollie. You fought to save me, because that's what you do, what you have always done. You fight to survive. I know I called you a murderer, but you are not. You are a hero. You beat the island. You beat my father. So fight, Oliver. Get up and fight back.

Oliver Queen: Roy was injected with the serum.
Felicity Smoak: Oh, my God, is he okay?
Oliver Queen: He's alive, but we're going to have to keep an eye on him.
John Diggle: And Cyrus Gold?
Oliver Queen: Died on Saturday, buried on Sunday.

John Diggle: Even the Arrow deserves a Christmas present.
Felicity Smoak: Here.
[Felicity puts the mask on Oliver]
Oliver Queen: How do I look?
Felicity Smoak: Like a hero.

"Legends of Tomorrow: Invasion! (#2.7)" (2016)
Barry Allen: This isn't up for debate. It's not even a close call. I mean... I turn my self over to the Dominators, they leave the rest of the world alone. Simple.
Felicity Smoak: No, it's not simple.
John Diggle: Barry, it doesn't matter what you've done. You can't do this.
Barry Allen: It's been an honor to know all of you, to fight alongside of you. Now it's up to you to keep our home safe.
Oliver Queen: Barry! I'm not letting you leave.
Barry Allen: No offense, Oliver, but you and what army?
Supergirl: This one.
Mick Rory: Listen, Red. I don't like you. But when you got a crew, you don't take a hit for the rest.
Barry Allen: That was actually pretty inspiring. I mean, up until the point that Mick compared us to a bunch of criminals, but...
Amaya Jiwe: According to the Dominators, we might as well be.
Nate Heywood: And maybe they're right. Maybe we do more harm than good, but this is our chance to find out.
Cisco Ramon: We're not letting you sacrifice yourself. There's no way. I don't care if that's what it means to be a hero. You're not a hero to me. You're my friend.

Kara Danvers: Either of you have saved the world before?
Barry Allen: Mm-hmm.
Oliver Queen: Last year.
Barry Allen: It sure beats screwing up the world.
Kara Danvers: Hey, you are too hard on yourself.
Oliver Queen: That's what people usually tell me.
Kara Danvers: And for good reason, I'm sure. But, back on my Earth, it's just me and my cousin. Between the two of us, we're more powerful than...
Barry Allen: Yeah, everybody in this room combined.
Kara Danvers: No, no. That's the point. That's what you've all proven her. Meta-humans or not, superpowers or not, you are Earth's mightiest heroes.

Oliver Queen: I owe you an apology. Keeping you at arm's length was the wrong move, and... Well, the truth is that this Earth could probably use a Supergirl.
Kara Danvers: Well, that's... that's funny, 'cause I was just thinking my Earth could use an Oliver Queen.

Cisco Ramon: I can't believe that you guys escaped an alien spaceship. Key words: "alien spaceship". I have questions.
Oliver Queen: They can wait. Thanks for helping me get my sister home.
Nate Heywood: Yeah, man.
Oliver Queen: What's our status?
Barry Allen: Nothing, since the Dominators paid their little visit to mess with our heads.
Nate Heywood: Why would they do that?
Ray Palmer: What if they were trying to pit us against each other, in order to gain intel about metahumans?
Felicity Smoak: Man, I wish they would just send us an IM with a questionnaire.

Oliver Queen: I would like to minimize your involvement in this.
Supergirl: Why? Because I'm an alien? I also happen to be your biggest weapon.
Oliver Queen: You are an unknown quantity, and this is not personal.
Supergirl: Except that's exactly how this feels.
Oliver Queen: Kara, when I started living this life, it was just me. I was going up against human threats; that, I could handle. Then it was metahumans, and I can handle that. Now I learn that there are multiple Earths, and I was brainwashed aboard an alien spacecraft.
Supergirl: I'm sure that was unnerving. I don't...
Oliver Queen: I don't get unnerved. But when I go up against something new, I push back. Right or wrong, it is who I am and it is what I do. So I'm asking for a little bit of space, because I have to draw the line somewhere. I need to claw back a sense of normalcy. Please stay here.

Oliver Queen: [to save Earth, Barry plans to give himself to the Dominators] Barry, I'm not letting you leave.
Barry Allen: No offense, Oliver, but you and what army?
[turning around, he sees everybody standing united]
Supergirl: This one.
Mick Rory: Listen, red, I don't like you. But when you got a crew, you don't take a hit for the rest.

Kara Danvers: I know you said you don't unnverved.
Oliver Queen: Well...
Kara Danvers: But if you did, I think hardship is what makes us stronger. That's probably why these people look to you as their rock.

John Diggle: [watching Sara leave] There she goes, off to her spaceship, time traveling as if it's totally normal.
Oliver Queen: Well, John, it's like you said. Normal sort of went out the window when this one arrived.
[meaning Barry]
John Diggle: I may never understand you, man, but you're one of the best men I know.
Barry Allen: Thanks, Dig. So, you forgive me for what I did?
John Diggle: Bar, it's like I keep telling this guy; you have to forgive yourself.

Oliver Queen: We have to keep the Dominators at bay.
Dr. Martin Stein: This might help. I've mass-produced a small devide that, when placed on individual Dominators, will cause indescribable agony. Not the nicest invention, but this is war.
Barry Allen: Nice going.
Dr. Martin Stein: The caveat, of course, is that if we activate the weapons before all the devices are placed on the Dominators, they'll know what we're up to.
Oliver Queen: Well, we gotta do it fast.
Barry Allen: Only way I know how.

"Smallville: Requiem (#8.14)" (2009)
Oliver Queen: [to Clark and Lana] Well, if it isn't Metropolis' newest power couple.

Oliver Queen: Lex deserved to die
Chloe Sullivan: You certainly made sure he got what he had coming
Oliver Queen: What does Clark think?
Chloe Sullivan: When he turned on him, remains of a toy bomb were found
Oliver Queen: [noticing the front page with Winslow's picture on it] Well Windslow makes sense
Chloe Sullivan: Are you seriously going to let another man take the blame for something you did?
Oliver Queen: Winslow's already a killer, he killed those people at Luthor Corp, Lex is dead. The world is safer because of it. Clark is safe again.
Chloe Sullivan: This is murder.
Oliver Queen: This is justice. Although Clark might not be able to accept that, *you* know what I did was right.
[walks towards the monitors]
Oliver Queen: Don't stand there and pretend to be all innocent, I did a little video viewing of my own, it turns out when a meteor freak Sebastian Kane was in the hospital, he was visited by someone that looked a lot like you
Chloe Sullivan: That was Brainiac
Oliver Queen: Was it? It looked like a pretty natural instinct to protect Clark, you can't tell me you're not a little relieved that Lex is gone
Chloe Sullivan: A big factor of me wants to tell me that's not true
Oliver Queen: Don't tell Clark what I did, a man just ripped his heart out, he needs his friends more than an enemy

Oliver Queen: [a tied up Oliver notices the balloons] Oh I get it, the children's ward's two floors up y'know?
Winslow Schott: Excuse me?
Oliver Queen: I figured, the balloons, the monkey, the ridiculous costume, you're a clown right? Aren't you a clown?
Winslow Schott: I am Winslow Schott
Oliver Queen: Oh Winslow, I remember now, it's good to see you're still playing with toys
Winslow Schott: You should've appreciated my genius, you called me one of Star Lab's greatest minds and then you fired me but I found someone who would work with me, who appreciated my genius, none other than Lex Luthor himself
Oliver Queen: I thought he was dead
Winslow Schott: It's you who should be dead; you were supposed to die in that explosion like everyone else!
Oliver Queen: It seems you're getting angry Winslow, maybe you should take your toys and go home
Winslow Schott: When this little fella claps his cymbals 53 times, it'll be the last noise you hear
Oliver Queen: 53, a bit arbitrary isn't it?
Winslow Schott: I filed 53 patterns working for you, while Queen Industries made millions, I got nothing

Chloe Sullivan: [After Oliver mentions Winslow's explosives could blow up kidney stones] Pretty high praise for a guy you handed the pink slip to, what happened?
Oliver Queen: High pressure job, he snapped, he started bringing toys to work then he started bringing explosives in toys, I discovered he had gone beyond the toy box
Chloe Sullivan: Why are you telling me this when you have your very own bomb squad in Clark and Lana?
Oliver Queen: Winslow could've killed me any time in the last six years, the boy pulled the pin but I think he's working for Lex

Oliver Queen: You know Clark would never let me do what needed to be done to make sure Lex is gone forever
Chloe Sullivan: You mean killing him?

Lana Lang: Do you have any idea who could've done this?
Oliver Queen: An angry shareholder maybe, he decided to attack the same day I took over Luthor Corp
Lana Lang: It's obvious who's behind this
Clark Kent: Lex
Oliver Queen: Y'know Lana I thought you'd be the first person Lex wanted to kill, you got under his skin the most or in it, that bio chem. you're commandeering was his lifeline, his last chance at recovery

[Oliver with one hand free has Winslow in a headlock]
Oliver Queen: Unlock the other cuff, 23 and counting, Bobo's not gonna stop!
[Winslow unlocks the other cuff and Oliver breaks his finger taking him to ground]
Oliver Queen: Tell me where Lex is or I swear I'll break every artistic finger

Chloe Sullivan: I can't lie to Clark
Oliver Queen: Tell him the truth or protect him? Could you honestly live with yourself if anything ever happened to Clark?

"Arrow: Haunted (#4.5)" (2015)
Conklin: Look, we're on this island eight months without single problem. He shows up, suddenly two guys find landmines and a bunch of drugs go missing.
Oliver Queen: [sarcastically] Yeah, Conklin, you got me. I didn't, uh, wash up on shore here after a boating accident, I parachuted in on a secret spy mission.

Oliver Queen: Why didn't you come to me with this?
Laurel Lance: Come to you for what? Your expertise with magical resurrection? Or that judgmental look on your face?
Oliver Queen: For help finding your sister, Laurel, before she gets hurt, or she hurts anyone else. And If I have a judgmental look on my face right now, it's because you played with forces that you do not understand, and now people are dying because of it.

John Constantine: You know, the hair on the back of my neck has been standing up since the moment I got into town.
Oliver Queen: That is probably our current problem - Damien Dhark. Ohh, you've heard of him.
John Constantine: You watch yourself on that one, mate. He'll make what you saw in the other realm look like a bloody gnat.
Oliver Queen: Any helpful advice?
John Constantine: Yeah. Leave town. While you still can.

Oliver Queen: I need you to punch me in the face.
John Constantine: Right. My, uh, escape attempt left a bruise, right? All right. I must warn you, I've got a hell of a right hook.

Oliver Queen: Laurel, you were right... I haven't always been the best friend for you but... I'd be grateful for the opportunity to try to start to be.
Laurel Lance: How can I say no to the man who helped me save my sister's soul?

Thea Queen: [Referring to Constantine] Well, he's a specific kind of yummy.
Oliver Queen: Oh, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you just say that.

[Oliver an Thea are talking alone]
Felicity Smoak: [Voice coming from nowhere] This is your overlord, Felicity Smoak
Thea Queen: We have a P.A. system?
Oliver Queen: Yet another decision I might live to regret.

Alex Davis: I'm talking about the kind of closet skeletons that could cripple you on your first day in office. Your personal Chappaquiddick.
Thea Queen: [Looking confused] Wait, like that game from Harry Potter?
Alex Davis: [Chuckles] Uh, Chappaquiddick was a scandal involving a can't-lose candidate whose campaign fell apart when he was caught having an affair after his vehicle went underwater and the girl he was with drowned. Does that sound at all familiar?
Thea Queen: [Exhales]
Oliver Queen: Referencing the "Queen's Gambit" and Sara Lance.
Thea Queen: Yeah, got it.

"Smallville: Justice (#6.11)" (2007)
Clark Kent: [Clark realizes Oliver is going to blow up the building] Wait a second. What are you doing?
Oliver Queen: What do you think I'm doing? You want more of your friends to end up in here?
Bart Allen: Yeah, I'm voting "no" on that one...

Oliver Queen: [to Chloe over radio] Green Arrow to Watch Tower. Boy Scout's out of the woods.
Clark Kent: Boy Scout?
Oliver Queen: If you hadn't run off all half-cocked, you could've picked your own codename. You don't wanna play for the team, that's fine. Be smart about it.
Clark Kent: Point taken. Where's Bart?
Oliver Queen: Impulse. He didn't get to pick his own codename either.

Oliver Queen: This is the... the moment, right? The moment I'm going to regret for the rest of my life, isn't it?
Lois Lane: Yes.

Clark Kent: Lex has Bart. We have to find him.
Oliver Queen: My team's already on it.
Clark Kent: Your team?
[Victor and Arthur walk in]
Victor Stone: Not everybody flies solo, Kent.

Clark Kent: A.C., how did you fall into all this?
Arthur Curry: Got into a little trouble sinking a whaler off the coast of Japan.
Victor Stone: A little trouble? That's what you're gonna go with? Ollie had to save your scaly butt from getting filleted.
Arthur Curry: I would have gotten out of it.
Oliver Queen: Oh, really? Before or after they packed you into a thousand little tin cans?
Victor Stone: Well at least he would've been dolphin-safe.
Arthur Curry: Fish jokes. That's all I ever get are fish jokes.

Oliver Queen: You'd make one hell of a can opener.
Victor Stone: You'd look good on a bag of green beans.

Lois Lane: Then stay.
Oliver Queen: I can't, because there are more important things in this world than what I want, and what I love. Someday I can explain why.
Lois Lane: Don't expect me to be waiting around for that when you get back.

Lois Lane: You're like two completely different people. There's the charming, romantic guy that I fell in love with, and then there's this other guy who can't stick around in one place long enough to see what he's missing.
Oliver Queen: Ever since my parents died, I've jumped around from city to city, from continent to continent. And... and in all those years, not once have I regretted leaving anyone. But then I met you.

"Arrow: Vertigo (#1.12)" (2013)
John Diggle: Find what you're looking for?
Oliver Queen: Took down three Vertigo pushers tonight, Diggle. Last one finally knew a name. The Count.
John Diggle: The Count? That's worse than The Hood.

John Diggle: [Oliver awakens thug by touching his neck] Whoa! That's a neat trick. You going to teach me that one day?
Oliver Queen: [knocks thug back out] No.
John Diggle: What are you doing?
Oliver Queen: You need to arrange a new identity for this guy. Get him out of the city.
John Diggle: Right, so your Ruskie pal draws out The Count, vigilante takes him down.
Oliver Queen: No, Diggle. Because the Bratva would know that I used them, and that relationship is too valuable. I do the meet with The Count as myself, let him leave, then we follow him to his hideout.
John Diggle: Just that easy, huh?
Oliver Queen: Well, I will still need my trusty bodyguard.
John Diggle: Fantastic. Looking forward to my new exciting career as a drug dealer.

John Diggle: You're not going back out there?
Oliver Queen: I'm not done for the night. Whoever this Count is, he has a lot of blood on his hands, and it is long past time he started paying.
John Diggle: All right, slow down. I think you're missing the point here.
Oliver Queen: What?
[Diggle gives him a look and realization dawns on him]
Oliver Queen: Thea.
John Diggle: Her hearing's in a few hours. You think she cares more about some drug lord getting his just desserts or you being by her side when she needs you the most?

Oliver Queen: Hey. We should get going. Judges don't appreciate the value of being fashionably late.
Thea Queen: [sardonic laugh] Got any other tips?
Oliver Queen: Uh... let the lawyer do all the talking. They give you a pad and paper, but do not play tic-tac-toe. Judges don't appreciate that, either.

John Diggle: [about a man Oliver has only knocked out] I can't believe you just killed that guy.
Oliver Queen: [scoffs] You really have a low opinion of me.

Oliver Queen: Thank you for what you did for Thea.
Quentin Lance: My daughter asked me for a favor and I did it. And that's the end of it.

Oliver Queen: My buddy Kevin is starting an energy drink company. He says it's fantastic for curing hangovers, but I am very particular about what it is I put in my body.
Felicity Smoak: I've noticed.
[realizing what she said]
Felicity Smoak: I said "not noticed", right?
Oliver Queen: [handing over a syringe of Vertigo] I'm trying to find a secret recipe. Could you please do a spectro-analysis of the sample and find out exactly where in the city it's made?
Felicity Smoak: If it's an energy drink, why is it in a syringe?
Oliver Queen: I ran out of sports bottles.
Felicity Smoak: [mouthing to herself] Okay.
John Diggle: [as Felicity leaves, he and Oliver get onto the elevator] Your BS stories are getting worse.
Oliver Queen: Well aware.

Thea Queen: Juvenile delinquent, reporting for duty.
Oliver Queen: Since you lost your driver's license, I'll pick you up at five.
Laurel Lance: Six. We have a lot of work for her to do.
Oliver Queen: Well, then let's say seven just to be safe.
Thea Queen: Is it too late to choose jail?
Oliver Queen, Laurel Lance: Yes.

"Arrow: Schism (#4.23)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: Put the gun down, Reiter.
[Reiter shoots Oliver in his leg]
Baron Reiter: You think you can kill me, Miss Venediktov?
Taiana: I am going to kill you.
Baron Reiter: You'll only kill yourself in the attempt. Without these runes, the idol's power would overwhelm my mind.
Taiana: I don't care. It's worth it to stop you.

Oliver Queen: We can't just lose all hope here.
Felicity Smoak: You have. I can see it in your eyes.
Oliver Queen: I just can't believe that I thought that I'd be the one to unite the city while Damien Darhk was trying to kill it. That was arrogant. It was the same arrogance that made me feel that I could be the Green Arrow without descending into darkness. Bottom line, it was foolish.
Felicity Smoak: You don't beleve that.
Oliver Queen: I didn't believe that... until Laurel died.
Felicity Smoak: I thought you weren't blaming yourself for her death anymore.
Oliver Queen: We made a decision to came back here. I tried to do things differently, and for a time, I did. And now I'm left to wonder if I hadn't, would Laurel still be alive?

[Oliver stands on top a taxi cab and yells out to the crowd of people in the street]
Oliver Queen: Please. I know what you're feeling right now, I'm feeling it too, the sense of - of helplessness, of hopelessness. I don't know how we even begin to process what might happen to us right now, but there a few things that I do know, I know that this city has been through tough times before and we have pulled through. We survived the Undertaking. We survived the Siege. We survived the outbreak, and somehow, someway, we will survive this. A friend of mine told me that living in Star City takes a special kind of tenacity, but we do live here, because this is our home. This is our home! It is our friend, our family, our lives. And we will not - we will not throw those precious gifts away by descending into chaos. We will look to each other for hope. We will cling to each other for strength, and it we do that, no matter what happens, that we all can stand here united.

Oliver Queen: It's Thea and John.
Felicity Smoak: Them leaving has to be a blow.
Oliver Queen: And they're leaving because of their own personal darkness. I just can't help but think that they were infected by mine.
Felicity Smoak: Maybe. Like you said, maybe you can't become a hero without succumbing to the darkness even a little bit, but you were able to defeat Darhk by giving the city its hope back.
Oliver Queen: You're saying it's not black and white?
Felicity Smoak: I'm saying that there is a man who killed Darhk in cold blood, and that same man stood on top of a car and gave the city its hope back. What you're feeling isn't darkness. It's a schism. You're at war with two sides of yourself.

Oliver Queen: [after Ghosts attack the Bunker] Is everyone all right?
Felicity Smoak: I think "all right" is a relative term.

Oliver Queen: Curtis, you shouldn't be up.
Curtis Holt: Tell me about it. Someone's got to provide a little optimism. Doesn't seem like anyone around here is in the head-space to do it.
Oliver Queen: Then you know we've lost the city.
Curtis Holt: No. I know that you're running out of time to get it back. Look... living in Star City requires a special kind of tenacity. A sane person wouldn't live here. It's a fact that Paul likes to remind me of weekly. We were this close to leaving Star City last October. After three terrorist attacks, we were... done. But then the night before we were going to start packing, the Green Arrow popped up on our TV, and he reminded me that this city is worth saving. That my home... that my home was worth fighting for. That guy gave me inspiration. He gave me hope. And if he could give me hope then, why can't he give it to others now?

Amanda Waller: And here I thought you never used the comm gear I gave you to radio for a trip home.
Oliver Queen: Well, I lost it for a while, and the job wasn't done.
Amanda Waller: And now it is. I sent you here to break up Reiter's operation and free his prisoners. You did both. You saved a lot of lives.
Oliver Queen: I took some, too.
Amanda Waller: Do you remember what I told you? The the only way out is through?
Oliver Queen: Well, I am not out, Amanda. I'm still filled with darkness.
Amanda Waller: This was never about expunging your darkness, Mr. Queen. That darkness will always be part of you.
Oliver Queen: Then what was the point?
Amanda Waller: To show you that sometimes killing is the only path to justice.

Oliver Queen: What am I gonna do with this?
Amanda Waller: Our business here is concluded, Mr. Queen. Unless it's not. As I said, justice requires killing. A man of your talents could be useful in hot spots across the globe, or you could just go back to playing vigilante.
Oliver Queen: Neither. I have a promise to keep.

"The Flash: Legends of Today (#2.8)" (2015)
Felicity Smoak: "Felicity, the magnetic-arrow gag will never work." Huh. Yes, it will, my love, because I am really smart. And guess what, Oliver. It did work.
Oliver Queen: Felicity, honey, it's a little hard to fight with you doing that in my ear.
Felicity Smoak: Oh, I totally forgot that this is an open line. Keep doing what you're doing. Make smart decisions.

Barry Allen: Wow. Nice new digs. Also, I just noticed, no sleeves. Don't you get cold?
Oliver Queen: I spent the better part of five years on an island in the North China Sea. I don't get cold, Barry.

Felicity Smoak: [striking Barry] How come you didn't tell me Zoom broke your back?
Barry Allen: I...
Felicity Smoak: [hugging Barry] Oh, I'm so glad you're okay.
Barry Allen: [to Oliver] So this is what it's like dating her?
Oliver Queen: More bruises from her than from Deathstroke.

Oliver Queen: Kendra, there is a reason this guy is after you. Think.
Cisco Ramon: Look, man, we just came out here to hide out for a bit until we figure things out, so you can just take it down...
Oliver Queen: You came here because you need our help. This is what our help looks like.
Barry Allen: Oliver, I just saved you guys from whatever the hell Flock of Seagulls was about to do. At least you can do is...
Oliver Queen: Barry, none of us has superpowers. You brought Kendra into our world without knowing who she is or what this dude that is after her is looking for. You made all of us unsafe. So maybe YOU ask the questions.

Carter Hall: You're Priestess Chay-Ara, I'm Prince Khufu, and we're lovers, soul mates. We've been partners for 4,000 years. We're drawn to each other in each life, and after we die, we reincarnate to find each other again and again and again. And now that I've found you, we should really get out of here.
Cisco Ramon: Okay, Romeo, why don't you pump the brakes.
Carter Hall: These people cannot protect you from Savage any longer.
Oliver Queen: Do you know who Vandal Savage is?
Carter Hall: In every lifetime, he hunts us down and kills us. He's done it 206 times, and I'm not planning to make it 207.
John Diggle: Why does he kill you?
Carter Hall: His life force is tethered to ours. Every time he kills us, he becomes more powerful. You do the math.
Cisco Ramon: You're 0 for 206, and you still think you're her best bet, hmm?
Barry Allen: Okay, so what we need to do is just find Savage and get rid of him.
Carter Hall: Well, you can't get rid of him, my friend.
Barry Allen: Oh, yeah? Watch us.
Malcolm Merlyn: [appears out of the dark] It might be harder than you think.
Barry Allen: Is that the only way this guy knows how to enter a room?
Malcolm Merlyn: My associates tell me Savage left Star City a few hours ago.
John Diggle: For where?
Malcolm Merlyn: We're not quite sure, but I assume after his run-in with you, he realized he needed something more powerful to complete his mission. We think he's trying to locate the Staff of Horus.
Thea Queen: Sorry, what is that?
Carter Hall: It's a relic from our past. An ancient and powerful weapon. If Savage gets his hands on it, it's going to be nearly impossible to stop him.
Cisco Ramon: Since when did our lives suddenly become an "Indiana Jones" movie?

[referring to "The Flash" espresso]
Oliver Queen: Since when is that a thing?
Barry Allen: About eight months. Maybe if you save Star City, you might get one, too.

Oliver Queen: Barry, I get that you're desperate to help and you want to be the hero and you want to save her yourself, but I think she has to have a part in it, too.
[Barry scoffs]
Oliver Queen: What?
Barry Allen: I-it's just the rules keep changing. It's one day I have to run through time, the next I'm fighting a telepathic gorilla, a-a-a-and now we're, what, we're-we're chasing down an immortal madman on a rampage against a reincarnated warrior priestess? I just never thought I had superpowers and feel more powerless than I have in my entire life.
Oliver Queen: That part I understand.

"Arrow: Darkness on the Edge of Town (#1.22)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: Mr. Andrews got his lunch?
Felicity Smoak: One Belly Buster with benzodiazepine. Hold the mayo.

Felicity Smoak: Are you okay?
Oliver Queen: My Mom and my best friend's Dad are involved in a conspiracy that may have dire consequences for the city. And I'm pretty sure they murdered my father. I'm not planning on using the word "okay" again any time soon.

Oliver Queen: Felicity, are you hacking into the Merlyn Global mainframe?
Felicity Smoak: "Hacking" is such an ugly word. No. I'm... Yeah. Totally hacking into the Merlyn Global mainframe.

Oliver Queen: Roy. We haven't met. I'm Thea's disapproving older brother.
Roy Harper: Yeah, I know. Good to meet you.
Oliver Queen: Don't mess around with The Hood. He's a psychopath, he's dangerous, and anyone who gets near him winds up dead. That will not be my sister. Do you hear me?

John Diggle: We have to find out what this Undertaking is.
Oliver Queen: I gotta ask her.
Felicity Smoak: Well, no. The last time the vigilante paid your Mom a visit, you got shot, and I got to play doctor with you. Ahh! My brain thinks of the worst way to say things.
Oliver Queen: This time it'll just be me asking. Friendly mother-son chat.

Oliver Queen: Felicity, hold onto me tight
Felicity Smoak: I imagined you saying that under different circumstances,
[pause]
Felicity Smoak: Very platonic circumstances.

Laurel Lance: What are you trying to say?
Oliver Queen: That you know me better than anyone, and that you are more important to me than anyone. I just hope I didn't wait too long to say it.
[Laurel kisses him]
Laurel Lance: You didn't wait too long.

"Arrow: Who Are You? (#5.10)" (2017)
Rory Regan: One question.
Felicity Smoak: Just one?
Curtis Holt: Prometheus breaks into S.T.A.R. Labs, gets not-Laurel, Harry Higgins her into coming off as real Laurel. That's a lot of hoops. Why not just kill you?
Oliver Queen: He told he doesn't want to. He's proving to me that I will destroy myself and everyone close to me.
Felicity Smoak: Well, he is gonna be disappointed because we are going to put Black Siren back in her cage.
Rory Regan: Black Siren?
Felicity Smoak: Every meta gets a nickname.

Oliver Queen: The file that I sent you, John Diggle, is my former bodyguard and current friend.
Adrian Chase: And facing a court martial for espionage, murder, escaping a federal prison, and attempted theft of a WMD.
Oliver Queen: He's innocent.
Adrian Chase: So why'd he escape a federal prison?
Oliver Queen: Because he's innocent. The man who framed him is a three star general. John did not think that he would get a fair trial in the court system. Which is where you come in.
Adrian Chase: Oliver, I'm a city prosecutor, not a military defense attorney.
Oliver Queen: That's why I thought of you. John needs someone outside of the military infrastructure. This is the only way for justice to get done.
Adrian Chase: He doesn't even know me.
Oliver Queen: John Diggle is a good man. He's better than the both of us put together.
Adrian Chase: Getting the Judge Advocates to even authorize me to pro hac him would be a miracle.
Oliver Queen: Sounds like a yes.
Adrian Chase: Eh, more like a "God help me". And your friend.
Oliver Queen: Hey, I will owe you one.
Adrian Chase: This is worth more than one.

Black Siren: So, basically I'm trading a cell in Central City for a cell in Starling City.
Oliver Queen: Actually, on this Earth, we call it Star City. I'm sorry about the cell.
Black Siren: I told you that Prometheus was going to kill me, and that is why I did what I did.
Oliver Queen: Your history on Earth-2 would suggest you had other reasons.
Black Siren: You don't trust me.
Oliver Queen: Can you blame me?
Black Siren: No. Because on my world, you've been dead for ten years now. I moved to Central City for a fresh start. That's where this happened. And from then, it was just one bad choice after another. And I guess once you let the darkness inside, it never comes out. And now I am trapped in a parallel dimension telling my sob story to the doppleganger of the man that... that I loved.
Oliver Queen: So stop running. Face the darkness.
Black Siren: How does that work?
Oliver Queen: First you need to tell me everything that you know about Prometheus. Everything. And then we keep you safe.
Black Siren: And you're willing to do that why? Why? Because I look like someone you used to know?
Oliver Queen: Someone once told me that a circumstance can make something poison or nectar. What they meant was that we get to choose what we are. We get to choose who we are. So tell me: who are you?

Oliver Queen: I spoke to Laurel.
Felicity Smoak: When did she become Laurel? She's not Laurel. Not "Laurel" Laurel. She's not our Laurel, okay? Not...
Oliver Queen: Okay, Felicity, I'm... I can't pretend to understand parallel worlds. But if I'm going to believe in them, and... and I kind of have to now, then I need to believe that differences are caused by circumstances. So why can't we change this Laurel's circumstances?
Felicity Smoak: You think that you can save her? After she's thrown in with Prometheus?
Oliver Queen: Under duress. I just... I think I can reach her.
Felicity Smoak: When did you find the time to get a PhD in psychology?
Oliver Queen: I'm a quick study.

Oliver Queen: How'd she escape?
Rory Regan: The power went off, and the dampener along with it.
Rene Ramirez: And Goldilocks huffed and puffed and blew the door down.
Rory Regan: That's not exactly how power works.
Oliver Queen: Is there's something wrong with Cisco's specs? Because didn't we just replicate the Pipeline's security system?
Felicity Smoak: We did. I let her go.
Oliver Queen: What?
Rene Ramirez: Damn, blondie.
Felicity Smoak: I'm sorry, but everyone just relax. I put tracking nanites in her water. The same ones we used to find Malcolm Merlyn.
Oliver Queen: [angrily sarcastic] That makes everything better.
Felicity Smoak: Isn't that exactly how you used Anarky to find Darhk last year?
Oliver Queen: Could we have the room, please?
Rene Ramirez: Seriously? This is getting good.

Felicity Smoak: I'm sorry she wasn't her.
Oliver Queen: I know. I'm sorry about Billy. He was a good man.
Felicity Smoak: Like you. So I'm guessing not-Laurel is on her way back to Central City then.
Oliver Queen: Secure lockup at A.R.G.U.S. I'm keeping her close, because if there is anything left of the real Laurel in her, I'm gonna find it.
Felicity Smoak: You know what? I could really get used to this newfound optimism of yours.

Felicity Smoak: [at the destroyed Black Canary statue] This doesn't feel right. They're just taking it away like this. They should build a new one.
Oliver Queen: I think we can do better.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah? What are you thinking?
Oliver Queen: I haven't kept my promise to Laurel.
Felicity Smoak: You're gonna train a new Black Canary?
Oliver Queen: I think that somewhere out there, there is a woman worthy of Laurel's legacy. And now all we have to do is find her.

"Arrow: Sacrifice (#1.23)" (2013)
John Diggle: I thought Merlyn broke your bow.
Oliver Queen: I have another.

Edward Fyers: [about Shado] Tell me, Mr. Queen. Are you prepared to sacrifice your freedom for her.
[kills Fyers with an arrow]
Oliver Queen: Guess so.

Oliver Queen: I spoke to Malcolm.
Moira Queen: You what? He could have killed you. He killed your father.
Oliver Queen: No, he didn't. After the "Gambit" went down, Dad and I both made it to the life raft. Then we drifted, for days. In the end, there wasn't enough food and water for both of us. So he shot himself in the head.
Moira Queen: I don't want to hear this.
Oliver Queen: He sacrificed himself so that I could live. Do you really think that I could go on living knowing that you sacrificed thousands more in my name? Mom. Please. You have to help me stop Malcolm. We need to know where the device is.

Malcolm Merlyn: Welcome, gentlemen. I've been waiting for you. I wanted to see you watch your city die.
Oliver Queen: Where's the transmitter?
Malcolm Merlyn: Somewhere I can easily get to it.
John Diggle: I doubt it. You'd be too dead.

Malcolm Merlyn: Don't struggle. It's over. There was never any doubt in the outcome. Don't worry. Your mother and sister will be joining you in death.
[stabs Malcolm with arrow]
Oliver Queen: Thank you for teaching me what I'm fighting for. But my father taught me how.

Malcolm Merlyn: Not a day goes by, I don't miss your father.
Oliver Queen: You'll see him soon.

Tommy Merlyn: Did... Did you kill him?
Oliver Queen: No.
Tommy Merlyn: Thank you.
Oliver Queen: [Oliver starts crying] No... no. Tommy? It should've been me. Open your eyes Tommy!
[whispers]
Oliver Queen: Open your eyes.

"Smallville: Absolute Justice (#9.11)" (2010)
Hawkman: [to Clark] Dr. Fate says you're a big deal. I don't see it.
Dr. Fate: Clark Kent is not like the others. His path is righteous.
Stargirl: If Dr. Fate says he's okay, that means he's okay, right?
Clark Kent: Why have you been watching us?
Stargirl: Sylvester wanted to bring together a new Justice Society - One with the surviving members and us new kids.
Hawkman: It wouldn't have worked, Courtney. People never learn. This generation will make the same mistakes the last one did like the one before that. Obvious by how you've skipped your homework, you don't even know who we are.
Clark Kent: You don't who we are either. But none of us here are the bad guys.
[an arrow is shot into the JSA's framed picture, Oliver enters the Brownstone]
Oliver Queen: You sure about that, Clark? The winged warrior here threw me through a window.
Hawkman: I hope I didn't make you cry.
Oliver Queen: Drop the mace, Conan.
Hawkman: I will... on your head.
Oliver Queen: Bring it, Big Bird. Just for the record, you started it.
Hawkman: I'll finish it.

Carter Hall: All we want is justice.
Oliver Queen: Justice? Well, everything we've heard about you guys is a little blurry when it comes to justice.
Courtney Whitmore: You mean what you've *read*.
Oliver Queen: Do you know who you're working with here? These old men have criminal records longer than that staff of yours.
Courtney Whitmore: They made those up.
Carter Hall: It's none of their business.
John Jones: With all due respect, we're making it our business. Even when I had the power to leave Earth, I chose not to. For one reason - Hope. Hope for the future. Humanity's capacity for violence is great, but their capacity for hope is greater than any other I've ever encountered.

Oliver Queen: Frosty's kid going after you for putting dear old in traction, right? But why now? It's been decades.
Hawkman: Because revenge is a dish best served cold.
Oliver Queen: We're telling jokes now?

Oliver Queen: You know, you really got to work on your landings.
Hawkman: It would have been a lot smoother if you hadn't thrown up.
Oliver Queen: Send me your dry-cleaning bill.
Hawkman: Send me your dinner bill.

Oliver Queen: I, uh, I thought I'd stop and see if anyone's hungry.
John Jones: I could use some dinner. Chloe?
Chloe Sullivan: Uh, sure. You're buying Mr. Queen.
John Jones: Don't look at me. I'm living off a policeman's salary.
Oliver Queen: Ah, fine. Dessert's on you.
John Jones: On Mars, we never had dessert, but I have grown especially fond of cookies.

Oliver Queen: Is that *my* e-mail? Chloe, I'll let you know that those messages between me and Canary were purely platonic.

Oliver Queen: God, I hate waiting.
Hawkman: But you love talking. Shut up.
Oliver Queen: Why did they have to team us up together?
Hawkman: I asked them to so I can keep you in line.
Oliver Queen: What are you? My chaperon?
Hawkman: Think of me as your parole officer but with a mace.

"Arrow: The Climb (#3.9)" (2014)
Nyssa al Ghul: In civilization's past, when someone in the village is murdered, the league would come and kill 50 people a day until the true criminal is rooted out. Find and deliver the one who killed Ta-Er Al-Sahfer. You have 48 hours, or the citizens of Starling City will see what the League of Assassins are capable of.
Oliver Queen: You're going to slaughter innocent people?
Nyssa al Ghul: The cleansing of Starling City will fall to Sarab.
Oliver Queen: Maseo?
Maseo Yamashiro: Maseo is no longer. As she said... I am Sarab.
Nyssa al Ghul: Deliver us Sara's killer, or blood will flow in your streets.
Oliver Queen: This isn't Sara would want!
Nyssa al Ghul: Sara is dead. It's time you remember that.

[Oliver watches a recording of Thea killing Sara]
Malcolm Merlyn: I don't think you want the league to see that. And if you kill me, they will.
Oliver Queen: This isn't her.
Malcolm Merlyn: You ever heard of a plant called Votura? It grows in South America. In facts, it thrives in Corto Maltese, making the subject extremely susceptible to suggestion, or retaining no memory of their actions.
Oliver Queen: I will tell Ra's this was you, that Thea was under your control.
Malcolm Merlyn: And he will still kill her. She fired the arrows.
Oliver Queen: You have given her a death sentence.
Malcolm Merlyn: No. What I've done is given you incentive.
Oliver Queen: To do what?
Malcolm Merlyn: To tell Ra's that you killed Sara Lance. By right, you'll be given a trial by combat - with Ra's. His death will erase any blood debt from his reign, including Thea's.
Oliver Queen: And yours.
Malcolm Merlyn: I have to be honest - it was my concern that the whole killing thing would have been a deal breaker for you. But, uh, I'm gratified to see that Thea is still sufficient motivation. Don't take too long making up your mind. Ra's isn't known for his patience.

Ra's al Ghul: You're just a boy. Well, Mr. Queen, you failed to protect the city you love. Now you will watch it bleed.
Oliver Queen: Nobody in my city will die tonight.
Ra's al Ghul: Well, there was only one way to prevent that. You were to produce for me the one who killed Ta-Er Al-Sahfer. And yet you've come alone.
Oliver Queen: Because it was me. I killed Sara.
Nyssa al Ghul: Why would you kill a woman you once professed to love?
Oliver Queen: Because she begged me to.
Nyssa al Ghul: You lie.
Oliver Queen: It wasn't the first time Sara chose death over a life in the league. And meeting you now, I can see why.
Ra's al Ghul: I should have Sarab cleave your head off your shoulders. Not for killing my daughter's beloved, but for thinking me a fool.
Oliver Queen: By league law, I have the right to challenge you to a trail by combat.
Ra's al Ghul: It's been 67 years since a man challenged me. You covet death that much?
Oliver Queen: Do you accept?
Ra's al Ghul: Oh, yes.

Oliver Queen: Maseo...
Maseo Yamashiro: My name is Sarab.
Oliver Queen: You told me once a man cannot live by two names.
Maseo Yamashiro: And I don't. Maseo is dead. I am all that's left, Sarab. A phantom.
Oliver Queen: After it happened, you went to Nanda Parbat.
Maseo Yamashiro: I arrived the same year as Ta-Er Al-Sahfer. She was a great warrior. You did not kill her. When you face the demon, it will be my duty to bear witness. I have no desire to watch you die. Under our code, you have 12 hours to settle your affairs. The 13th hour, be at this place. This location is consecrated ground for the league. A place for the settlement of blood debts - if one survives the climb. If you do.
Oliver Queen: See you on the mountain.

Felicity Smoak: But there is one thing I need to ask you to do. And you're not going to want to.
Oliver Queen: Well, if it's you asking, I'll do it.
Felicity Smoak: Kill him. You have to kill Ra's al Ghul. This is a duel... Oliver, with one of the most dangerous men that has ever walked the Earth.
Oliver Queen: I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't think I can win.
Felicity Smoak: I don't doubt that. I don't doubt that you can beat him. I am terrified that you won't kill him. Because that's not who you are anymore. And I am so afraid that Ra's al Ghul will use your humanity against you.
Oliver Queen: Felicity, I honestly don't know if I'm a killer anymore. But I do know two things - the first is that whoever I am, I am someone who will do whatever - *whatever* - it takes to save my sister.
Felicity Smoak: And the second thing?
Oliver Queen: I love you.

Ra's al Ghul: I was 11 years old when I killed my first man. I remember the look in his face when the light went out behind his eyes. Such a sudden change, almost imperceptible, between life and death. And I felt ashamed. I had stolen from that man the most precious gift of all - life. But I also felt something else - pride, because I had taken up arms against someone who sought to do ill against my family. And I realized what I had done was necessary. You see... I have replaced evil with death. And that... is what the league exists to do. And I have killed several thousand more men since then. And the world is better for it.
Oliver Queen: You've taken your last life.
Ra's al Ghul: No. You have lived your last day. We are ready.
Nyssa al Ghul: I am envious of you. You will see her before I do.
Ra's al Ghul: Fight me, boy.
Oliver Queen: You're unarmed.
Ra's al Ghul: I'll take your blades from you once you are through with them.

Malcolm Merlyn: It's the strangest thing... Thea just called and said she was attacked by the Arrow. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, now would you Oliver?
Oliver Queen: This was you... You know I figured, when I spared the man who murdered my mother, I would never kill again.
[Grabs Malcolm by his throat and throws him on to the bar table]
Oliver Queen: I was wrong

"Arrow: Code of Silence (#4.14)" (2016)
Felicity Smoak: I really need you to take a look at these engagement party invites. My mom's been hounding me.
Oliver Queen: The envelope is very pink.
Felicity Smoak: I know. Wait! Don't...
[Oliver opens the invitation and glitter explodes everywhere]
Felicity Smoak: ...open it.
John Diggle: Should have totally seen that one coming.
Felicity Smoak: I'm so sorry. What do you think?
Oliver Queen: Maybe less glitter.
Felicity Smoak: You look good in glitter.

Laurel Lance: Okay, so clearly we're not gonna find Darhk by tailing his wife.
John Diggle: Yeah, well, it's not like we have a lot of moves left to make. Darhk has gone, well, dark ever since Machin attacked his family.
Oliver Queen: But Darhk is not afraid of Machin. He's just... his plan's gone to a new phase.
Thea Queen: And how do you know that?
Oliver Queen: Because H.I.V.E. spent months trying to cripple this city's leadership. They discouraged people from running for mayor. They even tried to co-op my candidacy.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, then Mrs. Evil threw her hat in the ring.
Oliver Queen: There has to be a reason. Darhk did not try and destroy Star City so that his wife could be mayor. There's something that we're not seeing.

Laurel Lance: I got a look at the laptop before it got shot up, and there were blueprints on the screen.
Oliver Queen: So they are gonna take down another building. Felicity?
Felicity Smoak: I know. The first time we met, the first thing you asked me to do was pull data off a damaged laptop. It's kind of romantic.

Quentin Lance: Donna called it quits.
Oliver Queen: Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.
Quentin Lance: Yeah, yeah, me, too. You're lucky you're with someone you don't need to keep secrets from.

Quentin Lance: How you kept this up for four years, huh... this double life, these secrets, lying? I mean, I...
Oliver Queen: I'm trying not to live that way anymore. Trying.
Quentin Lance: You know, in AA we say you're only as sick as the secrets you keep. You're looking pretty healthy these days. Let's just hope I can get back to that place with Donna.
Oliver Queen: For what it's worth, you're in a tough spot, and you're trying to keep her safe. You know, sometimes a lie isn't wrong if it's for the good of someone that you love.

Curtis Holt: After my surprise was blown on my gift, I wanted to finish it as soon as possible.
Felicity Smoak: [Curtis hands her a small, wrapped box] Thanks! We forgot to register for, uh, microchips.
Curtis Holt: Actually, it's neither micro nor a chip. It's an implantable biostimulant.
Felicity Smoak: And why would I need an implantable...
[realization dawns on her]
Felicity Smoak: ...biostimulant?
Curtis Holt: For walking.
Oliver Queen: Excuse me. Curtis...
Curtis Holt: In a perfect world, it'll work in time for you to walk down the aisle. I mean, but it's pretty cutting edge, so I can't promise anything.
Felicity Smoak: You're telling me that this little piece of technology's gonna help me walk again?
Curtis Holt: After it's implanted in your spine, yes.
Paul: He's been trying to crack it for a while, but he needed a power source; something that would last a lifetime.
Felicity Smoak: Palmer Technologies' power cell.
Curtis Holt: Exactly. Once I solved that, I knew this might actually work.
Felicity Smoak: [getting emotional] Oh, my god. I don't know what to say.
Oliver Queen: I do. Curtis, you're terrific. Thank you.
Curtis Holt: [they shake hands] Well, don't thank me yet. Still has to work.
Felicity Smoak: It'll work. I know it will. You, come with me. We're about to make my mother very happy.

Oliver Queen: Did Alex call with the new poll numbers?
Felicity Smoak: Well, Bethany Snow's right. He doesn't have to. Experts are saying that you already won.
Oliver Queen: Experts aren't the voters.
Felicity Smoak: Okay. Well, you at least have one voter in your camp.
[singsong]
Felicity Smoak: Me!
Oliver Queen: [kissing her] Only one that matters.

"Arrow: Damaged (#1.5)" (2012)
Yao Fei: [shoots a rabbit] Dinner. Get.
Oliver Queen: Ah, come - Hey, I got an idea. Why don't you let me shoot that thing and you can go pickup the bloody, dead, disgusting animal?

[Yao Fei tries to teach Oliver to shoot his bow. Oliver takes aim at a tree and misses, wide]
Yao Fei: [speaks Mandarin]
Oliver Queen: What does that mean?
Yao Fei: You will die badly.

Laurel Lance: Wow. I can't remember the last time I've been in this room.
Oliver Queen: I can. Halloween, 2005. We were getting ready for Tommy's party.
Laurel Lance: Ah. Yes. I wore those horrible fishnets.
Oliver Queen: I thought you looked good.

Oliver Queen: Do we have a legal meeting or something? 'Cause, I have friends over.

Oliver Queen: [Laurel arrives at the last minute to represent him as his defense attorney] I knew you couldn't resist saving my ass.
Laurel Lance: You're gonna make me regret this, aren't you?

Oliver Queen: I didn't do any of this stuff, you know that. Right?
Thea Queen: You're out all the time. You have those scars, and since you've been back, you've been acting really weird.
Oliver Queen: None of this makes me some Robin Hood wannabe.
Thea Queen: And you get me this
[Shows Oliver the Hozen]
Thea Queen: . I mean, it's an arrowhead.
Oliver Queen: Oh, man.
[Exhales]
Oliver Queen: Thea, I bought that in the gift shop of the Beijing airport.

Quentin Lance: [to Oliver] The physician that examined you reported that 20% of your body is covered in scar tissue.
Laurel Lance: [Shocked] The machine won't work unless you ask a question.
Quentin Lance: Did that happen to you there?
Oliver Queen: Yes.
Quentin Lance: When you came back, you told everyone that you were alone on that island. Are you claiming that your scars were... Self-inflicted?
Oliver Queen: No. I wasn't alone. I didn't want to talk about what happened to me on the island.
Quentin Lance: Why not?
Oliver Queen: Because the people that were there tortured me.

"Arrow: The Brave and the Bold (#3.8)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: I appreciate your help back at A.R.G.U.S., but we have this handled.
Barry Allen: Wait, you don't wanna team up again?
Oliver Queen: Things work differently here. Starling City is meaner.
Barry Allen: I seem to remember helping you pretty good last year, and that was without powers. I've been practicing everything you taught me. I-I-I'm facing new environments, I'm not running in blind...
[looks at him hopefully]
Oliver Queen: [sighs] We do this my way.
Barry Allen: [excitedly] Yes! This is gonna be awesome. Okay, what's our first move?
Oliver Queen: We need to reassemble the evidence. It will take some time...
[Barry uses his super speed to put together the boomerangs in the matter of a few seconds]
Oliver Queen: ... but it'll be worth it.

Oliver Queen: This is all my fault.
Barry Allen: It's really not.
Oliver Queen: I tortured Markos to give up that phone. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for me.
Barry Allen: I get the feeling you don't say that very often.
Oliver Queen: To do what I do, Barry, takes conviction. But more often than not is the will to do what's ugly. Every time I do that, I'm... I'm trading away little pieces of myself. So you asked what's wrong with me. That's-that's what's wrong. Because the part that I'm trading away is Oliver Queen. And lately I've been feeling like there is nothing left, except the Arrow.
Barry Allen: I think you're full of crap. Look, you've convinced yourself that everything you've been through took away your humanity. But I think it's because of your humanity that you made it through. You wouldn't have survived, much less come out the other end a hero, somebody who wants to do good, if you didn't have a light inside of you.

Barry Allen: [looking at the new suit] This is for me?
Oliver Queen: For the next time you're in town.
Barry Allen: There'll be a next time?
Oliver Queen: I'm still calling the shots.
Barry Allen: We'll talk about that.
Oliver Queen: Yes, we will. And then I'll call the shots.

Roy Harper: Since when did we start selling admission to the Arrow Cave?
Oliver Queen: It's...
[to Felicity]
Oliver Queen: Do you see what you've done?

Barry Allen: You tortured that guy.
Oliver Queen: I interrogated him.
Barry Allen: When my friend said your tactics made you a criminal, I defended you because I thought you were supposed to be a hero. I thought we were supposed to be better than them.
Oliver Queen: Barry... you live in Central City where it's sunny all the time, and your enemies get cute nicknames. You're not in Central City.
Barry Allen: Yeah.
Oliver Queen: I live in a city where my best friend was murdered, where a woman that I loved was shot full of arrows and sent tumbling off a rooftop. Where my mother was murdered right in front of me. So before you...
Barry Allen: My mother was murdered in front of me, too. But I don't use my personal tragedies as an excuse to just torture whoever pisses me off.
Oliver Queen: Well, I'm sorry, Barry, I'm not as emotionally healthy as you are.
Barry Allen: What's wrong with you?
Oliver Queen: When we agreed that you were staying, we decided that it would be on my terms, if that is proving too difficult to you, you know your way back to Central City.

Lyla Michaels: Is everything all right between you and speedy?
Oliver Queen: What? Roy? Yeah, we're fine.
Lyla Michaels: [looks at Barry] I meant him.
Oliver Queen: Oh. We had a... difference of opinion about the way the world works.
Lyla Michaels: Yep. I know what that's like.
Oliver Queen: Well, sometimes they don't see it.
Lyla Michaels: There are people in the world who deal only in extremes...
Oliver Queen: And it would be naive to think that anything less than extreme measures will stop them.
Lyla Michaels: Sometimes bravery isn't enough. Sometimes the world requires us to be bold.
Oliver Queen: Whatever the personal cost.

"Arrow: Unchained (#4.12)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: What's crazy is Roy stealing from tech companies. What did he take this time?
Felicity Smoak: A triode capacitor bomb. Tiny device, really huge boom.

Roy Harper: I can't believe you shot me.
Oliver Queen: Really?

Oliver Queen: How's it going?
Felicity Smoak: This tiny piece of plastic has more computing power in it than most high-end laptops. I have half a mind to reverse engineer it for Palmer Tech.
Oliver Queen: But first?
Felicity Smoak: Yes, I found a tiny flaw in the OS code, and I'm pretty sure I can exploit it to open a back door to his main computer system.
Oliver Queen: Right, but wouldn't that risk exposing us?
Felicity Smoak: My pride that you understood what I was saying is slightly undercut by your lack of faith in me.

Oliver Queen: So a web nuke needs to be deployed somewhere. We need to know where the Calculator wants to install it.
Felicity Smoak: I am not calling him that on principle, because it is a lame codename.

Felicity Smoak: I'm conducting a review of all the nodes, sub-nodes, and network access points where the web nuke would do the most damage.
Oliver Queen: Any luck?
Felicity Smoak: [in a burst of frustration] Why you always ask me that? If I had any luck looking for what I'm looking for, I would be telling you about it instead of looking for it.
[calming down]
Felicity Smoak: Sorry. Stressed.

Oliver Queen: I should have done a better job of keeping an eye on her. She told me the bloodlust came back two months ago and I didn't even know
[pause]
Oliver Queen: . I've been focused on the campaign and I've been running back and forth to Central City and...
Felicity Smoak: How is it that you always manage to blame yourself for everything?
John Diggle: That's his super power. Guilt Arrow.

"Arrow: Canaries (#3.13)" (2015)
Malcolm Merlyn: It's been weeks since your return. I thought it was past time we spoke. Nanda Parbat is remote, but I wouldn't delude yourself into thinking that Ra's al Ghul missed your televised return to Starling City.
Oliver Queen: And your point, Malcolm?
Malcolm Merlyn: We can't merely wait for Ra's to mobilize his forces. It's time to bring Thea into the fold.
Oliver Queen: She's not ready to know my secret.
Malcolm Merlyn: I disagree. But in any case, if we have to protect Thea and to defeat the League, the three of us need to join forces. But I don't see how we can do that if she is still to believe that her brother is a reformed playboy and failed businessman.

Thea Queen: You know how many times I've wished that I could thank the Arrow for things he's done for this city?
Oliver Queen: Probably as many times as I've wished we could have this conversation.
Thea Queen: Did Mom know?
Oliver Queen: The night that she died, she told me that... she'd known for a while. I was worried that you'd be angry.
Thea Queen: Only 'cause you broke my window. Although I did kind of kick your ass.
Oliver Queen: You didn't. But you did have a good teacher.
Thea Queen: You were looking for Malcolm that night.
Oliver Queen: We know about each other.
Thea Queen: Wait, Malcolm knows that you're the Arrow?
Oliver Queen: I am amazed that he didn't tell you.
Thea Queen: Then why did you tell me? Why now?
Oliver Queen: Because Ra's al Ghul is coming for us. All of us. And the only chance that we have to survive is to work together. To trust each other.
Malcolm Merlyn: He's right.
Thea Queen: No. No, no, he's not. I turn my back on everyone I know, including my own brother, because you told me that was nobody else I could trust.
Malcolm Merlyn: I was only trying to protect you.
Thea Queen: By driving a wedge between me and Ollie? You manipulated me.

Laurel Lance: I know what you're going to say, but I risked myself for this city while you were gone. That should earn me some respect.
Oliver Queen: This isn't about respect. And it's not about you risking your life. I understand that you miss Sara. And I understand when you go out there like this, all of that pain goes away.
Laurel Lance: It's the only time it ever does.
Oliver Queen: And that relief isn't real. It's a drug.
Laurel Lance: If you're implying...
Oliver Queen: You an addict. And just like booze and pills, that high you're chasing every night is endangering your life.
Laurel Lance: Go to hell, Oliver. You don't get to play that card with me. Ever. And if there is anyone who is using adrenaline to hide the pain of real feelings and real life, it's you.

Thea Queen: You smell like smoke. Korean barbecue?
Oliver Queen: C4. Yeah.
Thea Queen: It's nice that we can tell each other this stuff now.
Oliver Queen: It is, actually.
Thea Queen: You always had the lamest excuses.
Oliver Queen: Lame excuses are sort of an occupational hazard.
Thea Queen: What was tonight's hazard?
Oliver Queen: Roy and I were looking for the man that escaped from the courthouse earlier today. Found a bomb instead.
Thea Queen: Yeah, I don't know how you do it. Just risk your life out there for people every night.
Oliver Queen: It's my job. It is my job to keep the people of this city safe. And that includes you, too, Speedy. Listen to me. I'm always going to hate Malcolm Merlyn. But right now he's a necessary evil.
Thea Queen: But we can take care of ourselves.
Oliver Queen: Not against Ra's al Ghul. You have to trust me on this.
Thea Queen: I do. But I don't trust him. I can't. And I won't.

Oliver Queen: My family's going to be looking for me. Everyone is going to be looking for me!
Amanda Waller: Because your mother issued a press release? We erased your message before she could hear a word of it. Be glad. If she had heard it, your mother would be dead right now.
Oliver Queen: You would never risk the exposure.
Amanda Waller: Hmm, you're right. Your mother's too public a figure. But your sister on the other hand. What's her name? Thea? Did you know she's developed something of a substance abuse problem since you've been gone? I guess the straing of losing two family members must have been too much for her to bear. One day, someone just find her in the back of a car, dead with a needle in her arm. Poor Speedy.
Oliver Queen: You stay away from my sister.
Amanda Waller: I will, if you answer one question. Where are the Yamashiros?

Thea Queen: I thought that I was stronger. I thought that I could keep myself safe.
Oliver Queen: Who was he?
Malcolm Merlyn: One of Ra's agents.
Oliver Queen: Roy, can you give us a minute?
Thea Queen: Really hope you're expecting a thank you.
Malcolm Merlyn: No parent needs gratitude for saving their child.
Thea Queen: I didn't ask to be a part of this. I didn't ask for any of this. Maybe you're right. Maybe we can't do this without him. But I am never going to forget the things you've done. Or the person that you are.
Malcolm Merlyn: Understood. But before we can begin, there's something only the two of you can do. Ra's al Ghul preys upon the fears of his enemies. Conquer your own fear, and you will eliminate that critical advantage. For you, there's only one place on earth uniquely suited to doing that.

"Arrow: Deathstroke (#2.18)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: Slade... You're working for him.
Isabel Rochev: With. He knew planting me in your family's business would draw you back to Starling City. Truth be told, I was skeptical, but...
Oliver Queen: Why are you doing this?
Isabel Rochev: I think it's sad that you don't know. The sins of the father are the sins of the son.

Oliver Queen: Where is she?
Isabel Rochev: He's holding her at a storage depot just outside the city limits. Tusca Cartage.
Oliver Queen: How do I know you're not lying?
Isabel Rochev: [laughs] It's cute how you think this isn't all playing out exactly how he wants it to. And he wants you to come alone. If he even smells your partners, he will gut little Thea like a trout.

Roy Harper: Sorry, I'm just having a hard time keeping my head in the game today.
Oliver Queen: Thea?
Roy Harper: I can't just stop thinking what's the worst that can happen if I just told her the truth.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I told a guy the truth and he got struck by lightning. To be fair, probably won't happen again, statistically.

Oliver Queen: With Slade out there, I don't have time for the company.
Felicity Smoak: Well, you have to make time, Oliver. At least three hours. The annual board meeting. There's absolutely zero way that the CEO can avoid being there. And I know it's been a while, so in you case you've forgotten, that's you. Do you remember where you put your business suit? Or do you keep it in a cool glass case, too?

Roy Harper: Are you sure we want me to go?
Oliver Queen: Are you angry? Use that rage.
Roy Harper: Well, you're just always telling me to hold back.
Oliver Queen: Not tonight.

Oliver Queen: They're calling you Deathstroke.
Slade Wilson: It's a bit flamboyant. I like it.

"Arrow: The Candidate (#4.2)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: He left behind evidence.
John Diggle: Fingerprints.
Laurel Lance: How'd you get the owner to part with his windshield?
Oliver Queen: I bought his truck. It's one of the benefits of your girlfriend inheriting a multi-billion dollar conglomerate. We have money now.
Felicity Smoak: I don't exactly think that was money well spent.

Oliver Queen: Both Lance and Jessica Danforth said something to me about this city needing something that the Green Arrow can't offer them.
Felicity Smoak: A decent sushi restaurant?
Oliver Queen: Hope. Inspiration. Someone who can do things in the light who isn't afraid. Someone who can protect himself. Felicity, I'm gonna run for Mayor.

Felicity Smoak: I want a code name.
Oliver Queen: What?
Felicity Smoak: Everyone's got a code name; you even got a new one. I want a code name.
Oliver Queen: Find the bomb, and then we'll talk.

[Oliver fights off a fake bodyguard]
Oliver Queen: Get back to the atrium!
Jessica Danforth: Oliver, how...
Oliver Queen: Um, self-defense classes.
[leaps off of a two-story ledge]

Quentin Lance: Caught your TV debut. Guess you decided to stick around.
Oliver Queen: It's going to be different this time.
Quentin Lance: Yeah, yeah, sure, well, 'cause you got a new name now, right, with a color. Green Arrow. It's catchy.

Oliver Queen: Any news?
Felicity Smoak: Only the bad kind.
Oliver Queen: Hey, we're going to catch this guy.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, and when we do, there's going to be another one waiting for us, and another, and another. It's like the most depressing game of whack-a-mole ever.

"Arrow: Second Chances (#5.11)" (2017)
Oliver Queen: Well, Felicity's really going to enjoy hacking the NSA.
John Diggle: You mean after she's brought you a hundred Black Canary candidates for you to say no to? You're not the only one who visits, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: John, I understand what I promised Laurel. Now that were actively doing it, trying to replace her, it just... it feels wrong.
John Diggle: You don't want to find someone to replace her. Just someone to take on the mantle. And from where I'm sitting, those are two very different things.

Oliver Queen: How did you know where to start? All that I told you was that Chase might have something.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I hacked his laptop. Saving Dig is gonna break at least twelve federal laws. Hacking your D.A. is just small ball. Plus, you are the mayor. You can pardon me.
Oliver Queen: Actually, I can't.
Felicity Smoak: It doesn't matter, because I am having fun. I haven't done a good old "grab government secrets" kind of hack in a really long time, and it's a great change of pace and it feels awesome. And it'll keep me busy while you're gone.
Oliver Queen: I... I'm going somewhere?
Curtis Holt: Maybe Hub City.
Rory Regan: We're thinking that's where the new Black Canary is hanging out.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, let's not call her that just yet. I'd like to see her in the field, at least, first.

Felicity Smoak: I was gonna ask how it went with the new Canary, but I can tell by that look on your face. Well, I have some good news, though.
Oliver Queen: I am in the market.
Felicity Smoak: [showing him the flash drive Kojo Sledgehammer gave her] We've got all we need to exonerate John.
Oliver Queen: That's incredible. How'd you do that?
Felicity Smoak: Long story.
Oliver Queen: Is there something you're not telling me?
Felicity Smoak: I know that we are not used to getting good news, but this is what it looks like. I am gonna go leak the file on Walker. Why don't you go tell John the good news?

Oliver Queen: You trained Yao Fei? How's that possible? You're half his age.
Talia al Ghul: Don't you know it's improper to talk about a woman's age?

Talia al Ghul: General Shreve, Baron Reiter, Konstantin Kovar. You keep looking for new fights when the real fight has been in front of you all along. Your father literally wrote it for you, a list of all the Yurieviches and Kovars in Starling City.
Oliver Queen: He told me he left me a message.
Talia al Ghul: And yet you still don't return home. Why do you deny your father's wish for you?
Oliver Queen: You saw the reason tonight. I am not the man my father raised! Not anymore.
Talia al Ghul: You're afraid of what's happened to you, of what you've become, and you're running from it.
Oliver Queen: How do you know all this?
Talia al Ghul: Because I've been there... and I can help you find your way back. You think yourself a monster.
Oliver Queen: No. I am a monster.
Talia al Ghul: There is a monster inside you, yes, but it is not you.
Oliver Queen: I don't see the difference.
Talia al Ghul: No. You need to create one. You need to give the monster an identity. It's only when the monster becomes someone else, some... thing... else that you're free to be Oliver Queen.

"Arrow: Streets of Fire (#2.22)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: You're a good man, Anatoly. If this is good-bye, be safe.
Anatoly Knyazev: I will see you soon. You and Sara.
Oliver Queen: I meant what I said. If we're not back in an hour, you sink the freighter and get yourself home.
Anatoly Knyazev: I think maybe I prefer Bahamas.

Oliver Queen: I didn't know, Felicity. Five years ago, I was a completely different person. And I had... no idea that something like this was even... possible. I couldn't have imagined. When you and Diggle brought me back to Starling City, I made a vow to myself that I would never let anything like the undertaking happen again.
Felicity Smoak: What's happening now is not your fault.
Oliver Queen: Yes, it is. I have failed this city. Yao Fei. Shado. Tommy. My father, my mother. All that I ever wanted to do is honor those people.
Felicity Smoak: You honor the dead by fighting. And you're not done fighting! Malcolm Merlyn, The Count, The Clock King, the Triad - everyone who is trying to hurt this city, you stopped them. And you will stop Slade.
Oliver Queen: I don't know how.
Felicity Smoak: Neither do I. But I do know two things: You are not alone. And I believe in you.

Oliver Queen: Hey. I need you to stay with Roy.
Felicity Smoak: Okay. Oliver, John - um, maybe this is obvious, but are we sure this isn't a trap?
Oliver Queen: No.
Felicity Smoak: I'm just saying, if you guys don't come back alive, I'm going to be really pissed.

Sebastian Blood: As a young boy, I was plagued by nightmares. Every night, I would wake up in a cold sweat, frightened and alone. It was my father's face that haunted me. And this is how I saw him. The embodiment of desperation and despair. I made this mask to conquer my fears. And to remind myself why I fight, every day, to give this city's most desperate a chance. All I ever wanted to do was help people, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: Then help me believe. Where's the cure?
Sebastian Blood: Slade Wilson will not rest until he honors the promise that he made you.
Oliver Queen: I won't be easy to kill once we level the playing field.
Sebastian Blood: He's not interested in killing you. Not until he's taken away everyone and everything you love.
Oliver Queen: After he murdered my mother, he said one more person had to die.
Sebastian Blood: Whoever you love the most.

Sebastian Blood: I hope you can beat him with this. For all our sakes. And when this is over, I promise you... I will do everything in my power to rebuild Starling City. And I just won't make it what it was. I will make it better. Like I always planned.
Oliver Queen: You really think after everything that's happened, after what you've done, that they'll still let you be mayor?
Sebastian Blood: Why not? No one know that I've done anything but try and save this city. And if you tell anyone about my mask, I will tell them about yours.
Oliver Queen: Do what you have to, Sebastian.

"Arrow: Beacon of Hope (#4.17)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: What?
Thea Queen: Nothing. It's just... It's shocking that you know who Voldemort is.
Oliver Queen: Well, I'm not immune to pop culture. I read a few of the "Harry Potter" books.
John Diggle: Really? I was gonna bet Thea that you just saw the movies.
Oliver Queen: They were movies?

Laurel Lance: Well, at least now we know this stops the bees.
Curtis Holt: I wish it was that simple, but not that we've played that card, they've undoubtedly adapted to it, but we just beat a group of robot bees using a superhero doohickey, and it that's not high-five worthy, I don't know what is.
Oliver Queen: Curtis, now is not the time for high-fives.

Oliver Queen: [Curtis has found his way into the Bunker] Forget the how. What are you doing here?
Curtis Holt: I saw the bee hive on the news. Felicity's in there.
John Diggle: Yeah, we were just about to mount a rescue operation.
Curtis Holt: Do you guys even know what that is?
Quentin Lance: That is an army of robotic bees. Yeah. That's my life now.

Curtis Holt: These bees, they're tiny computers, okay? With Felicity trapped inside, you guys are gonna need someone to hack them. But I'll have to "bee" careful.
[he laughs, but sees no one else is]
Curtis Holt: It's too soon for bee puns, right?
Oliver Queen: Let's assume that it is.

Oliver Queen: You son of a bitch!
[begins to fight Reiter]
Baron Reiter: [takes the upper hand] My victory is inevitable, Mr. Queen. Just think, all this power came from the life essence of one man. Imagine in what I will become when dozen of lives are sacrificed in my name.
Oliver Queen: You'll become a monster.
Baron Reiter: No, a God. Let me show you.
[grabs Oliver's neck]
Baron Reiter: [the powers begin to lose effect] No, I need more!

"Arrow: Dead to Rights (#1.16)" (2013)
Slade Wilson: That's broken. It got busted during the crash.
Oliver Queen: Did you try to get it to work?
Slade Wilson: I'm better at pulling things apart.
Oliver Queen: My father was a pilot and he used to do his own maintenance.
Slade Wilson: So you're hoping that aircraft maintenance is genetic?
Oliver Queen: No, I used to help him and I liked it. Then I got pretty good at it. So maybe I can make the radio work.
Slade Wilson: You should be training for the inevitable fight that's looming.
Oliver Queen: I think I have a better chance of making the radio work.

Arrow: Your father's been poisoned. An assassin named Floyd Lawton laces his bullets with curare. I've dealt with this before. We need to dilute the poison in bloodstream.
Tommy Merlyn: I said stay the hell back!
Arrow: In three minutes he's paralyzed. In four minutes, he suffocates. If you don't let me help you now, he's dead before anybody gets here!
Tommy Merlyn: Help. How?
Arrow: Fresh blood buys him time to get to the hospital.
Tommy Merlyn: A blood transfusion? That's insane!
Arrow: It's the only way. He needs your blood. You're out of time. You need to make a decision right now.
Tommy Merlyn: Why should I trust you?
[removes his hood showing his face to Tommy]
Oliver Queen: Because you always have.

Oliver Queen: Who was Fyers talking to?
Slade Wilson: I don't know. Sounds like someone off this island, maybe his benefactor. More importantly, who or what is Scylla?
Oliver Queen: The Scylla and Charybdis. It's "The Odyssey" from one of the four nightmare chapters. Scylla was a monster.
Slade Wilson: I want to meet this monster.

Slade Wilson: I do have one idea. If you go into the forest and gather as much bamboo as you can find...
Oliver Queen: Yeah?
Slade Wilson: We can build ourselves a boat, like they did on Gilligan's Island.

Oliver Queen: Oh, thank God she didn't cook.
Tommy Merlyn: Amen.

"Arrow: Lost Souls (#4.6)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: Do you know what I miss about our old space?
John Diggle: [They point at each other in understanding] That trunk with a bottle of Russian Vodka in it?
[Diggle goes to a trunk and retrieves a bottle]
John Diggle: Vodka is for wimps anyway.
Oliver Queen: Tennessee Whiskey.

Oliver Queen: Curtis. What're you doing?
Curtis Holt: The Green Arrow showed up right about the time that you came back into town...
[Raises his hand before his face so he can view only Oliver's jaw line]
Curtis Holt: Nah, it's not you though. Jaw's not right.

Oliver Queen: I thought it would be a good thing.
Felicity Smoak: A good thing? What on earth made you agree to this?
Oliver Queen: Well, you know, your mom doesn't really take no for an answer.
Felicity Smoak: You've faced down Mirakuru soldiers and the League of Assassins. Are you honestly telling me that you couldn't say no to my mom?
Oliver Queen: She said she missed you and then she texted me one of those emojis with the single tear.
Felicity Smoak: You have been texting with my mother? How long has that been going on?
John Diggle: You guys think we can find a better time to fight about this?
Felicity Smoak: John? I thought only Oliver's line was open.
John Diggle: Nope. Mine is open.
Thea Queen, Laurel Lance: And mine.

Oliver Queen: Your mother's in town, spend some time with her. We could do dinner. I'll cook.
Felicity Smoak: You already made dinner plans with my mother, didn't you?
Oliver Queen: What? No.
[Felicity gives Oliver the 'look']
Oliver Queen: ... Yes.
Felicity Smoak: Oh! Oh, my God! It is like a sickness with you!
Oliver Queen: It wasn't intentional. We were having a nice conversation; the subject turned to cooking, I mentioned that I make a spectacular Chicken Cordon Bleu. She said she'd never had one. It's just dinner.
John Diggle: He's right, Felicity. Besides, you look like you haven't... eaten or slept.
Felicity Smoak: A man's life, a friend's life is in danger. Doesn't seem like the right time for Cordon Bleu.

Felicity Smoak: You've faced down Mirakuru soldiers *and* the League of Assassins. Are you honestly telling me you couldn't say "No" to my mom?
Oliver Queen: She said she missed you then she texted me one of those emojis with a single tear.
Felicity Smoak: You have been texting with my mother? How long has that been going on?
John Diggle: You think we could find a better time to fight about this?
Felicity Smoak: JOHN? I thought only Oliver's line was open.
John Diggle: Nope. Mine is open.
Laurel Lance, Thea Queen: And mine.
The Canary: Can't believe there's so much chatter on this mission.

"Smallville: Rabid (#9.3)" (2009)
Clark Kent: You know that you're meant for more than this. This isn't you.
Oliver Queen: Who are you, huh?
[looks at the "S" on Clark's costume]
Oliver Queen: W-what's all this? What's the "S" stand for? What is that, "superstar?
Clark Kent: It gives people hope.
Oliver Queen: I'll tell you what, Clark, why don't you, uh... go ahead and plaster your symbol of superiority all over the city so that people can worship you like some kind of modern Jesus. That's what you want, right? That's why you're here. Here to save us.
Clark Kent: You need help.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, well maybe. But I hate to break it to you Clark, not everyone believes in the second coming.

Lois Lane: Oliver? What are you doing here?
Oliver Queen: I was looking for Tess when the whole building went "Resident Evil."

Police Woman: [notices on Oliver's belt] Is this a camera?
Oliver Queen: A what? It's some kind of spyware. Well, it's not mine. I've never seen this.
Police Woman: Right. And it just accidentally got caught on your belt buckle? So you could, what? Plaster my butt all over YouTube like Pamela Anderson?
Oliver Queen: Okay, first of all, no one's on YouTube looking at Pamela Anderson's butt.

Clark Kent: Oliver. Is this your idea of fun now that you've hung up your bow?
Oliver Queen: Should have known it was you. Clark Kent, the king of buzzkill. You and your pet rock put on a hell of a barbecue. But I had my money on Doomsday, so...
Clark Kent: You can try and play it off as a joke, but I *know* that the loss of Jimmy affected us both.
Oliver Queen: Well, I guess God's got a sick sense of humor. Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be taking your name in vain.
Clark Kent: What, you need to hear me say it? I should have listened to you. I should have gotten rid of Davis instead of believing in him.
Oliver Queen: It's a little late.
Clark Kent: I'm trying to make up for what happened, not add myself to the casualty list.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, well, I can't get my thrills leaping tall buildings or outrunning speeding bullets. We mere mortals - we have to rely on a tweaked-out Ducati and the opened road.

Clark Kent: You only had to do one thing, Oliver - keep her awake. But Lois almost died! You're spiraled so far you couldn't even protect her. Is there any part of the person I used to know still there?
Oliver Queen: Maybe not.
Clark Kent: Look, I understand that it's hard trying to figure out how to come back from what happened. Maybe you need help.
Oliver Queen: Actually, I thought about what you said, and, uh... I took a look in the mirror, and you were right. I've been running away from myself for a long time now. But now I know who I really am.
Clark Kent: All right, then you know what you have to do.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. Thank you, Clark.

"Arrow: Nanda Parbat (#3.15)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: I told you not to tell anyone.
Thea Queen: I guess I'm just not as good at keeping secrets as you are.
Oliver Queen: Thea, I'm not going to pretend I understand all the different kinds of pain that you're in, but the threat, it is very real. And the only way we are going to survive is by acting in unison.
Thea Queen: Are you really quoting Malcolm Merlyn to me right now?
Oliver Queen: Yes, because he, better than anyone, understands the danger the three of us are facing.
Thea Queen: We're not in any danger. Not anymore. Not you or me. But Malcolm - he's going to face justice.
Oliver Queen: Thea, what have you done?

Oliver Queen: Hey! I told you Merlyn was off limits.
Laurel Lance: I know. And then I realized that I didn't really give a damn.
Oliver Queen: This is why I keep secrets from you. Because you let your emotions dictate your emotions and it is going to get you killed. Did you really think you had a chance against Malcolm Merlyn?

Roy Harper: Look, I may not agree with it, but I understand what you're trying to say. You don't want Thea to live the guilt of getting her own father killed. But how is getting her brother killed any better?
Oliver Queen: I don't plan on dying.
Felicity Smoak: That's what you said the last time you went to go face Ra's, and how did that turn out for you?

Ra's al Ghul: You tasted death, and you wanted more, but the truth is everyone and everything must come to an end. Even from one such as me.
Oliver Queen: Kill me, but spare John Diggle's life. Let him go. I will beg for it.
Ra's al Ghul: You have shown tremendous strength, fortitude, power. No, Mr. Queen, I do not want to kill you. I want you take my place. I want you to become the next Ra's al Ghul.

Oliver Queen: You know everytime I close my eyes, all that I can see see, all that I can hear, feel is... Is the fall. I couldn't live like that, I couldn't live knowing that, someone out there would beat me.

"Arrow: Year's End (#1.9)" (2012)
Malcolm Merlyn: What are your thoughts, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: I think the vigilante needs a better code name then "The Hood" or "The Hood Guy."
Malcolm Merlyn: I agree. How about Green Arrow?
Oliver Queen: Lame.

Thea Queen: You bailed on your party.
Oliver Queen: It seemed like the right move. I mean, like you said, it... wasn't the best timing.
Thea Queen: OK, but when I was saying I was saying that, that was me being a bitch.

Oliver Queen: Felicity, you're remarkable.
Felicity Smoak: Thank you for remarking on it.

Malcolm Merlyn: What are your thoughts, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: I think the vigilante needs a better code name than "The Hood" or "The Hood Guy".
Malcolm Merlyn: I agree. How about "Green Arrow"?
Oliver Queen: Lame.

Oliver Queen: You know, dig, When I confront somebody on the list, I tell them that They failed this city. But tonight, It was me who failed.

"Arrow: Birds of Prey (#2.17)" (2014)
Felicity Smoak: Oliver, where are you? Are you okay?
Oliver Queen: I'm with Lance as Oliver, and he just called the Arrow.
Felicity Smoak: Oh. Oh! It's getting really hard to keep track of who knows whose secret identity.

Helena Bertinelli: You know, I thought I'd feel different now that he's dead, but I don't. And you always told me that killing him wouldn't change anything. You were right.
Oliver Queen: But I was wrong, too.
Helena Bertinelli: About what?
Oliver Queen: I thought I could help you. To stop you from being a killer, but... I was just starting. And I was a killer, too.
Helena Bertinelli: And what are you know?
Oliver Queen: I'm trying to be better.

John Diggle: Helena Bertinelli. Daughter of mob boss Frank Bertinelli.
Felicity Smoak: Or as I like to call her, Oliver's psycho ex-girlfriend hell-bent on revenge against her father.
Black Canary: Ex-girlfriend?
Oliver Queen: That's what you took from that sentence?

[Lance calls the Arrow and Oliver's mobile rings. Lance notices and looks over]
Oliver Queen: [shows his phone's display to Lance] It's my mom.
[Oliver steps away and takes Lance's call for the Arrow]
Oliver Queen: [disguised Arrow voice over phone] Detective.
Quentin Lance: Helena Bertinelli just took ten hostages. Laurel's one of them.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, I'm aware of the situation.
[Oliver hangs up and calls Felicity]

Felicity Smoak: According to the SCPD, the guy that gave Helena a ride into town is a 22-year-old Poly Sci major at SCU, and a member of Gamma Tau, which totally explains the whole "I didn't know I was aiding and abetting a known felon" thing. Anyone with boobs can get a frat boy to do anything.
Oliver Queen: I was a frat boy.
Felicity Smoak: I rest my case.
John Diggle: At least she didn't kill him. That's something.

"Arrow: The Calm (#3.1)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: When are people gonna realize that I don't speak Chinese?
Tatsu Yamashiro: Japanese.
Oliver Queen: You speak English?
Tatsu Yamashiro: Better than you speak Chinese.

John Diggle: Well, you know, you should try it some time.
Oliver Queen: Last girlfriend, she's in the League of Assassins. My girlfriend before that, she shot my girlfriend before that. I'm not... exactly a catch at the moment.
John Diggle: Maybe Felicity will change all that.

Oliver Queen: So you like Italian?
Felicity Smoak: What?
Oliver Queen: For tonight. You like Italian, right? Everyone likes Italian.
Felicity Smoak: Oliver, you're in the middle of a high speed chase.
Oliver Queen: I'm multitasking.

Maseo Yamashiro: My father had a proverb he was once fond of. A man cannot live by two names.
Oliver Queen: And what does that mean?
Maseo Yamashiro: In your case... I believe it means not having any choice.

Oliver Queen: We need to talk.
Felicity Smoak: I don't want to talk. Which, for me, I know is a little unprecedented. But... as soon as we talk, it's over.
Oliver Queen: I'm so sorry. I thought that I could be me and The Arrow. But I can't. Not now. Maybe not ever.
Felicity Smoak: Then say never. Stop... dangling maybes. Say it's never going to work out between us. Say you never loved me. Say...
Oliver Queen: Felicity. *he kisses her* Don't ask me to say that I don't love you.
Felicity Smoak: told you as soon as we talked... it would be over.

"Arrow: Broken Arrow (#3.19)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: There's a meta in Starling City that's killing people.
Ray Palmer: A meta, as in human?
Oliver Queen: Yeah.
Felicity Smoak: So, obviously we need to catch this plasma death thing guy. Ugh, now I see why Cisco gives them all names. The police is all over Oliver, so... we need you.
Ray Palmer: And you're okay with this?
Oliver Queen: We need your help.
Ray Palmer: So it's a team up. High-five!

Ray Palmer: I thought the whole point of this team-up was you not being spotted out as a vigilante.
Oliver Queen: Stop calling it a team-up, Ray. This Jake Simmons is not just a meta-human, he is a killer. And you're not ready for that.
Ray Palmer: Look, I'm - I'm not going to try to equate our experiences, but superpowers are based in science, and I am a man of science. So if there's any way to defeat this guy, I'm the one who's best able to figure this out.
Oliver Queen: Fine. The second that you get in over your head...
Ray Palmer: I'll run. Fly, probably.

Ray Palmer: Still nothing. Not a visual sighting or any other reading at all from The Atom. And I say Atom, I mean the suit, not myself in the third person.
Oliver Queen: [to Felicity] There's a decent chance that you and Palmer are related?

Ray Palmer: I need shields.
Oliver Queen: That's not the answer. You need to anticipate your opponent. You need to trust your instincts and not just your tech.
Ray Palmer: My instincts is to trust my tech.
Oliver Queen: Ray, when I'm out in the field, my bow, my arrows, those are just tools. I'm the weapon.
Ray Palmer: That's poetic.
Oliver Queen: My point is that if you rely on your suit more than you rely on yourself... it's going to get you killed.

"Arrow: Unthinkable (#2.23)" (2014)
Slade Wilson: Where am I?
Oliver Queen: As far away from the world I could get you. Where you can't hurt anyone ever again.
Slade Wilson: That's your weakness, kid. You don't have the guts to kill me.
Oliver Queen: No. I have the strength to let you live.
Slade Wilson: Oh, you're a killer. I know, I created you. You've killed plenty.
Oliver Queen: Yes, I have. You helped turned me into a killer when I needed to be one. And I'm alive today because of you. I made it home because of you. And I got to see my family again. But over the past year, I needed to be more... but I faltered. But then I stopped you. Without killing. You helped me become a hero, Slade. Thank you.
Slade Wilson: You think I won't get out of here? You think I won't kill who you care for?
Oliver Queen: No, I don't. Because you're in purgatory.
Slade Wilson: I keep my promises, kid. I keep my promises! I keep my promises.

Felicity Smoak: Last time I didn't notice; it's actually kind of beautiful here. Don't get me wrong, I'm counting the seconds until we shove off minefield island.
John Diggle: So you think that'll be enough to hold him, A.R.G.U.S.'s super max?
Oliver Queen: Him and anyone else we send here. This battle may be over, but there will be others. Staring with getting my family's company back.
Felicity Smoak: That's not going to be easy since you're poor now. You're going to have to get a job. If Slade doesn't scare you, that's got to.
Oliver Queen: Do you know anyone hiring ex-billionaires with superior archery skills?

Felicity Smoak: Talk about unthinkable. You and me I mean. When you told me you loved me, you had me fooled for a second. I... Maybe you might have meant it, what you said. You really sold it.
Oliver Queen: We both did.

Felicity Smoak: Oliver, You're not making any sense.
Oliver Queen: Slade took Laurel because he wants to kill the woman I love.
Felicity Smoak: I know. So?
Oliver Queen: So he took the wrong woman.
Felicity Smoak: Oh.
Oliver Queen: I love you... Do you understand?
Felicity Smoak: Yes.
[gasps]

"Arrow: Vigilante (#5.7)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: Prometheus has stopped killing randoms.
Rory Regan: You'd have to be as crazy as he is to think he's stopped.

Oliver Queen: What can I help you with?
Susan Williams: So formal. That's not fun.
Oliver Queen: Susan, I've got a million things to do today.
Susan Williams: Including dealing with whoever dropped two bodies on the SCPD's doorstep?
Oliver Queen: How do you know about that?
Susan Williams: I believe it's called being good at my job.

Oliver Queen: Okay, we are fighting a war on two fronts.
Felicity Smoak: At least.
Evelyn Sharp: So we're stopping other vigilantes now?
Rory Regan: I think what Evelyn's suggesting is we're on the same side as this vigilante fellow.
Oliver Queen: Really? Because last week, all of you were pissed when you found out that the Hood used to play judge, jury, and executioner. We can't have this both ways. We're gonna find Dunne, we're gonna find Vigilante before any more banks get knocked over or people get killed.

John Diggle: We can't find Vigilante, but I think we figured out a way to draw him out.
Oliver Queen: Talk to me.
John Diggle: How do you feel about us robbing a bank?

"Smallville: Disciple (#9.10)" (2010)
Mia Dearden: What the hell was that all about?
Oliver Queen: You tell *me*. I came here for our training session, Mia, not an audition for "Kill Bill 3."

Mia Dearden: Don't worry. I'm not gonna go tell all my friends I used to train with the Emerald Archer.
Oliver Queen: Well, he's not done with you yet. I mean, unless of course, you're done with him.
Mia Dearden: No. No, I'm actually glad my old teacher showed up again. Yours, not so much.
Oliver Queen: I still can't get him out of my head. I just keep thinking, by the time Vordigan gets out of prison, he'll be an old man.
Mia Dearden: I think you got better things to worry about.
Oliver Queen: I'm not worried about him. Mia, it's what he said. I think he's right. What if I can't outrun these dark places inside me?
Mia Dearden: That's why you need me. To keep you in check. There's a dark place inside everyone, Oliver. What we do with it depends not on who our teachers are but what we do with the lessons learned.

Mia Dearden: I thought if I surprised you, I might actually stand a chance of kicking your butt. Then you tried to snap my windpipe.
Oliver Queen: Well, you make a pretty convincing ninja.
Mia Dearden: Oliver, that was more than an overreaction. You didn't even respond to your own name. It was like you were someone else.
Oliver Queen: This coming from the woman in the mask.

Oliver Queen: Vordigan. Our paths split a long time ago.
Vordigan: You took your vows, Oliver. Now it's time to fulfill them.
Oliver Queen: You embraced me as your own son. I can't follow in your footsteps.
Vordigan: There comes a time where every master knows his best years are done. I was badly wounded for the first time, Oliver, because I wasn't fast enough, physically or mentally. I realized the process of decay has begun. Our tradition dictates the master must leave this world while he's still strong and respected. As my chosen successor, you must complete your final test. You need to kill me.
Oliver Queen: You've taught me many things, Vordigan, about the kind of man what I wanted to become and the kind of man I didn't.
Vordigan: Some men don't get to chose who they become. Your heart is dark like mine, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: No. When I saw your true colors, Vordigan, I left.
Vordigan: Come on, Oliver. You didn't abandon us because of higher moral conviction! You left because you like the thrill of the hunt a little too much. But you can't outrun fate. If you won't fulfill your duties... I will hunt down and kill your apprentice. And when you see her dead body, the dark archer in you will rise up, and you will hunt me down and take vengeance.

"Arrow: The Undertaking (#1.21)" (2013)
Felicity Smoak: It feels really good having you inside me... And by you I mean your voice. And by me I mean my ear. I'm going to stop talking. Right now.
Oliver Queen: That would be my preference.

[last lines]
John Diggle: I guess you *do* know where I live.
Oliver Queen: I've always known where you live. May I?
[pushes past Diggle]
Oliver Queen: I'm sorry. You were right. I was wrong.
John Diggle: About Deadshot?
Oliver Queen: About everything. About my mother, and about her involvement in the Undertaking. She lied to me, to Thea. She's working with Malcolm Merlyn, and they're planning something, something... terrible. I don't know what yet, but... I just know one thing. I need your help to stop them.

Oliver Queen: [to Laurel] This is Felicity. She's setting up my internet.

Felicity Smoak: It feels really good having you inside me. And by you, I mean your voice. And by me, I mean my ear. I really need to stop talking now.
Oliver Queen: That would be my preference.

"Arrow: City of Blood (#2.21)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: Submarines have torpedoes, right? Can't we blast our way out?
Anatoly Knyazev: I can see why you two are made for each other. You like your explosions.

Oliver Queen: It ends tonight.
Felicity Smoak: How?
Oliver Queen: I turn myself over to Slade. I end this vendetta.
John Diggle: Oliver, you think this ends with you turning yourself over to Slade?
Oliver Queen: Yes, I do. After she was gone... he told me that one more person had to die. And then it would end. This ends for Slade when he kills me.
Felicity Smoak: I don't accept that. You shouldn't either. You can't just accept things, Oliver. If I had accepted my life, I would be a cocktail waitress in Vegas like my mother, and I never would have gone to college, and I never would have moved a thousand miles away to work at Queen Consolidated, and I never would have believed some crazy guy in a hood when he told me I could be more than just some IT girl.

Laurel Lance: You thought about telling me... the night of the undertaking.
Oliver Queen: I thought about telling you almost every night.
Laurel Lance: Why didn't you? Tommy knew. Didn't he? You were with him. You were with him at the end.
Oliver Queen: His last words were about you. He wanted to know if you were safe. Sorry I couldn't save him. And my mother. But I can save you. And Thea. I can save the city if this ends tonight.
Laurel Lance: No. No! You can't commit suicide, Ollie. You won't do that to me. Or to Sara, or to your friends. Or to Thea. Oliver... She just lost her mother. Losing you would destroy her.
Oliver Queen: But she'll be alive.
Laurel Lance: I don't know about hoods and masks or human weapons or any of this. But I know you. I know you like I know my own name. And I realize it may sound crazy in light of your secret, but I know who you are in your bones, Oliver. And that person - that person doesn't give up. That person, he always finds a way.
Oliver Queen: Not this time.
Laurel Lance: You're wrong. You want to protect the people who you love? Then the only way to do that is to stop Slade Wilson.
Oliver Queen: Laurel, I can't!
Laurel Lance: Yes, you can! By stopping Sebastian Blood, because Sebastian is working for Slade Wilson.
[Oliver has a shocked look]
Laurel Lance: I have proof. Slade Wilson killed your mother so Sebastian could become mayor.
Oliver Queen: You were right about him. The man in the skull mask works for for Slade Wilson. And this entire time, it was Sebastian.
Laurel Lance: What's happening is bigger than you and Slade. The city needs the Arrow.

Oliver Queen: You're the mayor. Congratulations. You've always wanted that.
Sebastian Blood: Believe me, Oliver, I wish it had happened a different way. Your mother and I, we - we didn't agree on much. But we both wanted what was best for Starling City. I will help this city find its heart again, I promise you that.
Oliver Queen: Do you really think that he will let that happen? Slade Wilson.
Sebastian Blood: How do you know I've been working with Slade Wilson?
Oliver Queen: Because I'm the Arrow.

"Arrow: Tremors (#2.12)" (2014)
Laurel Lance: [to Bartender] Can I get something with olives? I don't care what it is, as long there are a lot of olives.
Oliver Queen: How about coffee?
Laurel Lance: Coffee and olives? Bad combination.

Roy Harper: Last year, you saved my life. And I don't mean from the guy who kidnapped me. I mean, you... You saved my life. You gave me purpose.
Oliver Queen: We're just getting started.

Roy Harper: Is this the part where you kill me 'cause I know your secret?
Oliver Queen: Do you actually think that I'd kill my sister's boyfriend?
Roy Harper: Well, you did shoot me in the leg. Forgiven, by the way.
Oliver Queen: Thea. She can never know.
Roy Harper: I get the feeling that if I did tell her, that would be when you kill me.
Oliver Queen: Trust that instinct.

Roy Harper: How many people know what - Who you are?
Oliver Queen: Too many. But these are the only two that matter. John Diggle and Felicity Smoak.
Roy Harper: Does this group have a name? Like Team Arrow, or something?
Oliver Queen: We don't call ourselves that.
Felicity Smoak: I do. Occasionally.
Oliver Queen: Stop.
John Diggle: Whatever. Welcome aboard.

"Smallville: Conspiracy (#9.14)" (2010)
Chloe Sullivan: I like where this going, Romeo, but you might want to put on some softer music.
Oliver Queen: This not a booty call.

Oliver Queen: Clark saw a future that we all want to run away from. Said Tess saw the same future. Maybe she wants to take us there.
Chloe Sullivan: Which is why we need those weapons more than ever. Where'd you put them?
Oliver Queen: They're in a safe place.
Chloe Sullivan: Are you keeping me in the dark because I lied to you?
Oliver Queen: Well, you know what, Chloe, you can't have a set of rules for yourself and then a whole another set of rules for everyone else.
Chloe Sullivan: Clark's in a Kandorian family now, and I don't want to let his loyalties lead us into another doomsday scenario.
Oliver Queen: Neither do I.
Chloe Sullivan: Do you really think we should tell Clark everything?
Oliver Queen: Absolutely. But only when the time is right.

Oliver Queen: A lot of women have used me for my money, I never expect it coming from you.
Chloe Sullivan: I wasn't stealing from you, Oliver. I was borrowing the cash. I'm buying insurance for the entire planet.

Chloe Sullivan: All the I.D.'s I gave Clark have computer tracking chips in them. I want to keep an eye on the visitors from another planet.
Oliver Queen: Welcome to "1984: The Sullivan Edition."

"Smallville: Fortune (#10.15)" (2011)
Oliver Queen: How the hell did we end up here, anyway?
Lois Lane: Oh, I have no idea. But in that green getup of yours, we're gonna stand up like a hooker in a church.
Oliver Queen: [looks down and notice he's wearing a lime-green tuxedo jacket] What?
Lois Lane: Yeah.
Oliver Queen: What is this?

Oliver Queen: [to Lois] We'll be lucky if we get out of here alive. I didn't exactly bring my Green Arrow gear to the bachelor party.

Amos Fortune: You are an eyeful. You know, like the Tower in Paris. You put these other hothouse girls to shame.
Oliver Queen: Thanks, man.

Oliver Queen: I'm going to do whatever it takes to get you that ring back. Relax, all right? You're starting to do that twitchy thing that you do.
Lois Lane: There's something stuck in my bra.
Oliver Queen: That's not my territory anymore, all right?
Lois Lane: [pulls gambling chip out of her bra] Cha ching. Well, that's a first.
[reads writing on chip]
Lois Lane: "Fortune Casino?"
Oliver Queen: Let me see that. Oh look at that. Your pointer sisters just gave us our first clue as to where we were last night.
Lois Lane: Yeah, right.

"Arrow: Blood Debts (#4.10)" (2016)
Quentin Lance: So you're back to dropping bodies?
Oliver Queen: It's just this one.

Oliver Queen: I don't have time for a lecture, John.
John Diggle: There's no lecture here, Oliver, but you should know that Andy gave me a lead on Darhk and I've been working on it.
Oliver Queen: Good. What have you found?
John Diggle: Unfortunately, it was a dead end, but you should know...
John Diggle: But nothing. But nothing.
John Diggle: Oliver, I know you're hurting, man, but you should know that whatever your play is... I got you back.
Oliver Queen: But?
John Diggle: But you've come so far, Oliver. You've recovered a humanity that you lost when I first met you. I know you want payback for what Darhk did to Felicity, and you should. But don't lose what made her fall in love with you in the first place.

Oliver Queen: You know... I think I want to go to Bali.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah.
Oliver Queen: Want to come with me?
Felicity Smoak: Yeah. I'd go anywhere with you.
Oliver Queen: Yeah?
Felicity Smoak: Just one question.
Oliver Queen: Mm-hmm?
Felicity Smoak: What's Damian Darhk doing in Bali? I only ask 'cause if he's still here, we have some work to do.
Oliver Queen: How'd you get to be so strong?
Felicity Smoak: I took my lead from you.

Oliver Queen: [Scene showing four months later] Are you okay?
Felicity Smoak: Are you?
Oliver Queen: No.
Felicity Smoak: You know what you have to do right? You have to kill that son of a bitch!

"Smallville: Bride (#8.10)" (2008)
Oliver Queen: [Lois is sitting outside on the porch away from the reception drinking champagne from the bottle when Oliver finds her] Want a glass with that?
Lois Lane: Oliver. Just the person I want to see right now.
Oliver Queen: [laughs] So, uh, want to tell me what started this lost weekend?
Lois Lane: Go on and enjoy the party. Trust me it will be a real buzz-kill to listen to me whine like Patsy Cline.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, you're probably right. You know, um... I may not be at the top of your confidant list, but if you ever want to talk, I'm here.
Lois Lane: [sighs] I'm just having all these feelings, and I don't know what they mean.
Oliver Queen: Oh. Well, who's the lucky guy?
Lois Lane: [sighs] Having this conversation with an ex is... bad enough without turning up the awkward dial.
Oliver Queen: [chuckles] Right. Well, you know, there's moving on in theory, and then there's the moment that it actually happens. If you like we can start now, and I'll just be a really good friend.
Lois Lane: Okay. It's like I was going along and it just snuck up on me. And I tried to ignore it, but then there are these moments that you can't. Maybe I was reading it wrong. And to add insult to injury, it all went down at tonight's tribute to romantic bliss. I know it sounds sappy... but I thought... just for a minute... that someone needed me.
Oliver Queen: Well, I'm sure he needs you, Lois.
Lois Lane: [scoffs] That's sweet of you to say, but how do you know?
[scoffs]
Oliver Queen: 'Cause I know Clark.
[chuckles]

Lana Lang: I'm not convinced Lex is alive. Just because the king dies doesn't mean the entire empire crumbles overnight. I just followed the leads here to protect Clark.
Oliver Queen: Good. Because no one else seems too concerned that Lex found out his secret. If you're on a trail, I can help you.
Lana Lang: Is this your version of help? 'Cause it seems a little personal to me. You're Green Arrow. You're better than this.
Oliver Queen: You sound like Clark.
Lana Lang: If we want to fight for the greater good, maybe we all have to be a little more like Clark.

Oliver Queen: It's too late. That thing took Chloe.

Lana Lang: So Oliver Queen moonlights as Green Arrow. Does Clark know about you?
Oliver Queen: I think I can safely say he knows more of my secrets than he does yours. You're not going to tell me you're down here on vacation fishing for marlin, are you?
Lana Lang: We both know that two hours ago more than 430,000 megagigs of LuthorCorp RAM and ethernet cables were running through this place.
Oliver Queen: Sounds like we each came here with a score to settle.

"Smallville: Salvation (#9.21)" (2010)
Carter Hall: All I found in Giza are mummies. We need to flush these aliens out. Now I've been around long enough to know to win a war is to strike first.
Oliver Queen: No, that's the best way to win a bowling tournament, Tweety. We're dealing with superpowered soldiers here.
Carter Hall: Just as expected, Mr. Green Jeans has gone yellow.

Oliver Queen: You know, you got to admit, I know how to treat a girl on date night.
Chloe Sullivan: Sure, next week, you think maybe we can just grab some Thai food and catch a movie?
Oliver Queen: That sounds like a good plan, but tonight, you're gonna have to settle for stream satellite video.

Chloe Sullivan: You know, even though Watchtower's back in the game, I'm still coming up empty-handed on the Kandorian front. It's like they vanished into thin air.
Oliver Queen: You know, that might have something to do with the fact that they can fly.
Chloe Sullivan: Sarcasm noted.

Chloe Sullivan: Do me a favor, okay? Just keep a low profile.
Oliver Queen: [kisses Chloe] I'm wearing green leather, so I'll do my best.

"Arrow: Genesis (#4.20)" (2016)
John Diggle: [realizing Darhk's Genesis is comparable to the Old Testament] God wanted to give the world a do-over, so he destroyed it.
Oliver Queen: He destroyed it with a flood. Rubicon is Darhk's flood.
Felicity Smoak: So nuclear annihilation is Darhk's flood. What's he planning on building as his ark?

Oliver Queen: I was finally able to get in touch with Constantine. He put me on to someone who he thinks may be able to teach me how to defend against Darhk's magic.
Thea Queen: Okay, well I'm not just saying this because I love Harry Potter, but why are we not all taking those lessons?

Felicity Smoak: When you said that you'd found someone to teach you magic, I was thinking, like, a mountaintop or a hidden temple, not Hub City's premier underground casino.
Oliver Queen: Well, with Constantine I have learned to expect the unexpected.
[they're stopped by a door watchman]
Oliver Queen: I'm betting on Fortuna.
[they're allowed in]
Oliver Queen: Now, he was a little bit vague with the specifics. He just said
[imitating Constantine]
Oliver Queen: "Pitch game, first game, mate. See if you're worthy."

Oliver Queen: Are you okay?
Felicity Smoak: Are you?
Oliver Queen: No.
Felicity Smoak: You know what you have to do right? You have to kill that son of a bitch.
Oliver Queen: I know. I don't know how.
Felicity Smoak: Because of his magic.
Oliver Queen: His ma - it's too strong. I've seen it before, back on Lian Yu, and it is not just magic. It's darkness, and whenever I have come up against it I have gone nowhere. It - he feels unstoppable.
Felicity Smoak: I refuse to believe that. I refuse to let you believe that. If Darkh wins, Laurel died for nothing. I fell in love with you for many reasons and one of those reasons is is that you always find a way, and you have to find a way now for Laurel, for the city... For all of us.

"Smallville: Siren (#7.11)" (2008)
[Dinah is invited to join Green Arrow's Justice League]
Dinah Lance: I'm not really a team player.
Oliver Queen: Good. Then you'll fit right in.

Clark Kent: Why don't you try to think about someone other than yourself for once?
Oliver Queen: I'm selfish? You know, some of us sacrifice being with the people that we really care about so that we can go make a difference. What do you do? You sit around in domestic bliss curled up on a couch while a world of trouble spins outside your door!

Oliver Queen: Lois?
Lois Lane: Oh, don't even think of looking at me now. So, in all those nights together, somewhere between brushing teeth and spooning in the sheets, you didn't think that it might be a good time to mention that you prowl the streets with green leather and a compound bow?
Oliver Queen: Well, I don't usually bring the compound bow.
Lois Lane: Oh, so now he's a funny hero. I can't believe you didn't tell me that you were Green Arrow!
Oliver Queen: Hard to imagine why when you're taking it so well.
Lois Lane: You'd think the lacerating ropes and platium fembot might have something to do with my lack of empathy? So what? Little Ollie got bored with dodge ball and P.E. and decided to play William Tell? Woah. Wait a second. I kissed Green Arrow last year when you were standing there with me in the alley.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, I remember that with precise detail.
Lois Lane: I can't believe you. You, supposedly my boyfriend, arranged for me to be lip-locked with some wannabe hero.

Black Canary: [speaking to Oliver] Has anyone ever told you, you have lousy taste in women?
Oliver Queen: Yeah.

"Arrow: The Magician (#3.4)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: The tracer arrow program...
John Diggle: You have Felicity monitoring remote from Central City?
Oliver Queen: No, she told me an idiot can run it.
John Diggle: [heads for the computer] I will try very heard not to take that personally.

John Diggle: Listen, I understand why you can't kill Merlyn, all of the reasons. Maybe he killed Sara, maybe he didn't.
Oliver Queen: He didn't.
John Diggle: Either way! The world is a better place without Malcolm Merlyn it. You made a vow not to kill. Nyssa didn't.

Oliver Queen: Where's your wife?
Maseo Yamashiro: Tatsu. She needed to be someplace else.
Oliver Queen: Ah. She doesn't like me.
Maseo Yamashiro: You're wrong. She hates you.

Akio Yamashiro: My Dad said I shouldn't let you use my computer.
Oliver Queen: Okay. Why don't we make a deal, then?
Akio Yamashiro: You don't have anything. You're a bum.
Oliver Queen: Well, this bum has something you don't have. Height.

"Smallville: Roulette (#9.5)" (2009)
Oliver Queen: The last time I trust a woman with a dragon tattoo.

Chloe Sullivan: You were living like you had a death wish, Oliver. You had to face your demons if you were gonna make it out alive, and I had to push you over the ledge in order to pull you back.
Oliver Queen: Did you have to push with a 3-ton truck?
Chloe Sullivan: I didn't think a tricycle would be a strong enough point.

Oliver Queen: You do know, of course, look absolutely ridiculous in that, right? And I got a great tailor. Hook you up with a little color maybe.
Clark Kent: Nice to see you finally discovered something worth living for after all.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. More like a rediscovery, actually. You've done a hell of a job keeping the world safe on your own, Clark. I'm here to help you now.
Clark Kent: Good. Something tells me... soon the world will need all the help we can get.

Victoria Sinclair: Now that's the face of a guy who's down on his luck.
Oliver Queen: Well, I think my luck's about ready to turn around. I don't remember seeing you around, earlier.
Victoria Sinclair: Well, maybe not. But I've seen you before. Your type.
Oliver Queen: And what type is that exactly?
Victoria Sinclair: The player who can't find the game to satisfy him.
Oliver Queen: I'll admit I've lost a certain lust for life... but luckily not other things.
Victoria Sinclair: Then play a game with me.
Oliver Queen: I'm all in.

"Arrow: The Huntress Returns (#1.17)" (2013)
John Diggle: Oliver, if you still didn't have feelings for this girl, you would have followed a different solution than letting her extort you into killing someone.
Oliver Queen: So what do you want me to do? You want me to kill her?
John Diggle: I think you would have along time ago if she looked like me instead of the T-Mobile girl. She's a stone cold killer, Oliver.

Helena Bertinelli: Sorry, am I... interrupting something?
Oliver Queen: We were just... talking about you.
Helena Bertinelli: And here I thought you didn't care much about me.
John Diggle: Still don't.

Oliver Queen: Just your father. Anyone else gets hurt and I'll put an arrow in you.
The Huntress: That's sweet. Now I know how you charmed your cop girlfriend.

Slade Wilson: One of those missiles has an effective range of up to 2,400 kilometers.
Oliver Queen: We're not going anywhere until we figure out what Fyers is planning.
Slade Wilson: Wild guess? He's planning on blowing something up.

"Arrow: Keep Your Enemies Closer (#2.6)" (2013)
Isabel Rochev: On if I think you use the corporate jet for a weekend of fun with your assistant?
Oliver Queen: Excuse me?
Isabel Rochev: A blonde I.T. girl all of sudden gets promoted to be assistant to the C.E.O.? There are only two ways how that happens. One is nepotism, and she doesn't look like your cousin.
Oliver Queen: That... is... absolutely not happening.
Isabel Rochev: What were her qualifications? Aside from an abundance of short skirts.
Oliver Queen: Her skirts aren't that... short.

Felicity Smoak: This is Knyazev's man inside the prison. A guard.
Oliver Queen: He'll know where in the Gulag Lyla is being held.
Felicity Smoak: When all hell breaks loose, you need to meet us at the rendevous point with Lyla, or...
John Diggle: Or I'm a permanent Russian.

Felicity Smoak: What were you thinking?
Oliver Queen: What?
Felicity Smoak: Over 64 million woman over the consent in Russia and you sleep with her.
Oliver Queen: So we're not doing the "What happens in Russia stays in Russia?"
Felicity Smoak: We're still in Russia.

Felicity Smoak: Why her? I mean, besides the obvious leggy model reason.
Oliver Queen: It just kind of happened. It didn't mean anything.
[pause]
Oliver Queen: Hey. Because of the life that I lead, I just think that it's better to not be with someone that I could really care about.
Felicity Smoak: Well, I think... I think you deserve better than her.

"Arrow: The Return (#3.14)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: How did you learn all this in nine months?
Thea Queen: Malcolm's a good teacher.
Oliver Queen: Did he teach you to cheat?
Thea Queen: There's no such thing. There's only survival and death.
Oliver Queen: He's not wrong.

Maseo Yamashiro: What were you thinking? Anyone at that party could have seen you!
Oliver Queen: Yeah, I pulled the hoodie down to cover my face.
Maseo Yamashiro: That disguise wouldn't work even if you smeared grease paint all over your face.

Slade Wilson: Come on, then. You've earned it.
Oliver Queen: Thea, don't!
Thea Queen: He killed Mom!
Oliver Queen: And he will continue to pay for his crimes, but not like this! You're a not a killer!
Thea Queen: Yeah, tell that to Sara!
Oliver Queen: What happened to Sara is not on you! What happens to him is! All this is what Malcolm wanted. He freed Slade to prove we're killers because he wants you to be just like him. You got to prove to him that you're not.

Slade Wilson: She's lost, your sister.
Oliver Queen: No, she's not.
Slade Wilson: You can see it in her eyes. She's being touched by darkness. Was it Merlyn? He's an interesting man to do that to his own daughter. So now you've lost your father, your mother, and now your little sister. How's the girl with glasses? What's her name? Felicity. How many people can Oliver Queen lose before there is no more Oliver Queen?

"Smallville: Beast (#8.20)" (2009)
Clark Kent: I need to head to the Fortress, see if I can find a way to send Doomsday to a place where he can't hurt anyone again.
Oliver Queen: No need to pack your parka. I can tell how to conquer the beast. Kick his ass, Clark. Get this thing out of our lives once and for all.
Clark Kent: You want me to kill him.
Oliver Queen: No. I *need* you to kill him. We all do. You're the only one who can.
Clark Kent: That doesn't make it right. I'd still be taking a life.
Oliver Queen: You'd be saving thousands, Clark. The only way any of us are ever gonna be safe again is if Doomsday's destroyed... for good.
Clark Kent: Doomsday is my problem, and I will handle it.

Oliver Queen: My God, what's he done with Chloe?
Davis Bloome: I'd never hurt Chloe. She, uh... She - she saved me.
Jimmy Olsen: No way. Now, Chloe might be a sucker for the strange, but she's not crazy.
Davis Bloome: Bit of advice - you really don't want to upset me now.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, trust me, I know. I've seen your horns. You give the whole new meaning to the term "Bridezilla."
Jimmy Olsen: You're the beast.

Oliver Queen: Clark, I know you want to save everybody. But eventually, you're gonna have to make a tough decision. It's what heroes do.

Oliver Queen: When did you become one of the bad guys, huh?
Chloe Sullivan: For whatever reason, I calm the beast inside him. He needed me.
Oliver Queen: He needed you. So, the needs of the Cornfield Killer outweighs the needs of the rest of the world. Is that it?
Chloe Sullivan: Oliver, it's complicated.
Oliver Queen: No, it's complicated, yeah. That's the same thing your psychopathic boyfriend told me.
Chloe Sullivan: Look, either I keep him with me or let innocent people die.
Oliver Queen: Oh, come on. Chloe, if you really believed that, you would have handled things a little bit differently, don't you think? Instead, what do you do? You cook him dinner, you fluff his pillow, you rock him to sleep.
Chloe Sullivan: Okay, look, I understand what it looked like from the outside, but trust me, I had the whole thing under control.
Oliver Queen: Chloe, you didn't have anything under control! Speaking as Davis' next victim, I can tell you, your plan was seriously flawed! How did you think this was gonna end, Chloe?
Chloe Sullivan: I'll find him, okay? I'll fix this.
Oliver Queen: No. You won't. I think you've done enough. We'll let Clark handle it from here.

"Arrow: Dark Waters (#4.9)" (2015)
Thea Queen: It's actually a pretty great turnout.
Alex Davis: Who knew people would rather pick up garbage than celebrate the holidays, huh?
Oliver Queen: Not bad for a hippie crunch campaign proposal, huh?
Alex Davis: Nobody likes an "I told you so". Except, apparently, Star City. Your approval rating is up ten points.
Oliver Queen: [pleased with himself] I have an approval rating.
Thea Queen: Yes. Yes, you do.
Alex Davis: Welcome to politics, Mr. Queen.

Oliver Queen: We're gonna get Andy out from under Darhk's influence, John. That is a promise.

Oliver Queen: [after Darhk's attack on his campaign cleanup of Star City Bay] Any news on the victims?
Felicity Smoak: Some are being released. Some are still in surgery. It's a miracle no one died.

Oliver Queen: We had a deal!
Damien Darhk: Well, I think if you replay our conversation in your mind, our bargain was only, at best, implied. Even so...
[points thumbs at himself]
Damien Darhk: Bad guy, remember?

"Arrow: Seeing Red (#2.20)" (2014)
Laurel Lance: You're really cute when you're mopey.
Oliver Queen: I'm not mopey.
Laurel Lance: Mopey's your default, Ollie. It's part of your smoldering charm.
Oliver Queen: I do have smoldering charm.

Thea Queen: What part of "I want nothing to do with you" are just not understanding?
Oliver Queen: I came by to see Sara.
Thea Queen: [looks at Diggle] And what about him? He's been stalking me.
Oliver Queen: He's protecting you.
Thea Queen: From what?
Oliver Queen: Slade Wilson is still at large. He already tried hurting you once.
Thea Queen: He didn't hurt me. He told me the truth, which I know you think is a bad thing, but it's actually not.
Oliver Queen: It is if it costs me you.
Thea Queen: Your lies did that. Now, I'm going up to the stock room, and if I get attacked by some shot glasses, I'll call 911.

Oliver Queen: Mom, what's happening with Thea right now isn't because you weren't spending enough time with her.
Moira Queen: Well, maybe not. I have to do something. And I'm not sure what else to do.
Oliver Queen: Thea hates you right now because of the things that you've done. Terrible things. So let her see you do something good. As mayor. Mom, I know a little something about... sacrificing the people closets to me for the good of this city. It's what you need to do now.
Moira Queen: I know.
Oliver Queen: Good.
Moira Queen: Oliver, I know. I know. I've known... since last year, I suppose. The night of the undertaking, everything became to so clear. It was pretty much the night I stopped sleeping.
Oliver Queen: Before you say anything else...
Moira Queen: There's nothing else to say. Nothing I need to say. Except I could not be more proud.

Moira Queen: Slade... You were on the island with Oliver?
Slade Wilson: I thought I had known true despair, until I met your son. I trusted him to make the right choice.
Oliver Queen: Let me make the right choice now. Kill me.
Moira Queen, Thea Queen: No!
Slade Wilson: I am killing you, Oliver. Only more slowly than you would like.

"Arrow: A Matter of Trust (#5.3)" (2016)
Evelyn Sharp: I've been meaning to ask. What kind of vigilante wears a hockey mask ?
Oliver Queen: I think it's cool.

Oliver Queen: Thank you all for coming. I'd like to address head-on and with brutal honesty that some recent reports regarding my administration, reports that suggest while the voters may have elected me, others have been making making decisions in my stead. The truth of the matter is that every decision made by any member of my administration is my decision. The buck, as they say, stops with me. When you are charge, everything that your team does is on you, and I trust my team. That team will include former police captain Quentin Lance will be serving beside me as Deputy Mayor.
Quentin Lance: Appreciate the vote of confidence, Mr. Mayor.
Oliver Queen: You're the right man for the job, trust me.

Oliver Queen: [angry that Wild Dog defied an order] Last week, you said that you needed to be able to trust me. Fine. Well, I need to be able to trust you. If I can't, then why am I wasting my time with you?
Felicity Smoak: [Oliver leaves] Never in my entire life did I think that I was gonna meet somebody more stubborn than him. I would have lost that bet.

Thea Queen: What are you doing here? You weren't supposed to be here until 9:00.
Oliver Queen: Our meeting was scheduled for 8:00.
Thea Queen: Exactly.

"Arrow: Sins of the Father (#4.13)" (2016)
Malcolm Merlyn: I'm a little disappointed I must say.
Oliver Queen: You're the one who put us in this position, Malcolm.
Malcolm Merlyn: Can I remind you the role you played in putting this ring on my finger?
Oliver Queen: Oh, I remember. Tonight I correct that mistake.
Malcolm Merlyn: I can't believe it. You've grown even more foolish with experience.
Oliver Queen: 3 years! Let's finish this.

Malcolm Merlyn: I thought of you a son once, Oliver. I had more common with you than my own blood, but that's not the reason why I'm going to kill you. Neither the fact that you are my daughter's brother. The reason you get to live is because death would be a mercy compared to the debt I now owe you.
Oliver Queen: Don't you dare threaten me, Malcolm.

Malcolm Merlyn: What's unfolding here is larger than I, and it is bigger than my daughter. It's not just her life that hangs in the balance, Oliver. For all your dealings with the League, you still remain ignorant to what it is they do for the world.
Oliver Queen: Enough about the League. You're a group of assassins.
Malcolm Merlyn: It is a force of change silently manipulating global events for hundreds of years, and I cannot - I *WILL NOT* - put that kind of power into Nyssa al Ghul's hands!

"Smallville: Icarus (#10.11)" (2010)
Oliver Queen: Clark, come on. Now the whole world thinks I'm a terrorist. I mean, that's not exactly something you want on your fortune 500 bio or at your wedding, so...
Clark Kent: Well, that's too bad, 'cause I was just about to invite you to be my best man. You're the guy who stands next to me on the worst days of my life. And I want you there for the best one, too.
Oliver Queen: Hey, I - you kidding? Absolutely. Thank you.
Carter Hall: All I can say is when it comes to planning the wedding, just nod. A *lot*.
Oliver Queen: Well, you would know, right? I mean, you married Shayera, what, a hundred times now?
Dr. Emil Hamilton: Well, I've heard of relationships that withstand the test of time, but that's remarkable. Oh, or not, I suppose. For you.

Carter Hall: Even though I married Shayera a hundred times, I had to lose her that many, as well. Now, I know I don't usually get all warm and fuzzy, but I am sorry. About Chloe.
Oliver Queen: You're not gonna hug me now, are you?

Oliver Queen: [watching Hawkman slowly hit a few keys on the laptop] Really?
Carter Hall: I miss my typewriter.
Oliver Queen: You miss the telegraph.
[swats him away]
Oliver Queen: Just get away, 8-track.

"Smallville: Arrow (#6.4)" (2006)
Oliver Queen: This is funny. You know, the way Lois talked about you, I thought you were gonna be a little bit more of a...
Clark Kent: Little more what? Of a geek?
Lois Lane: Well, you're not exactly jumping the velvet ropes at nightclubs, so...
Clark Kent: It's really nice to see that Lois has found someone who can overlook her personality.
Oliver Queen: Oh, don't worry about it, Clark. If I lived under the same roof with such a beautiful woman, I probably would've mask my feelings in sarcasm, too.

Oliver Queen: Clark, you have abilities I couldn't even dream of. And I admire that you use them to save the people you're close to.
Clark Kent: But?
Oliver Queen: But there's a whole world of people out there, Clark. They need us. With your potential... you can't wait for them to come to you. When you're ready to do something about that... you let me know.

Oliver Queen: [speaking to Clark about Lionel Luthor] You find it interesting that he never called the police?
Lois Lane: Okay, if you boys are done marking your territory, which for clarification, is not me. I have a front page article that is missing a few key details. Good night boys. Now, play nice.

"Smallville: Prophecy (#10.20)" (2011)
Oliver Queen: I'm starting to regret not packing my intergalactic dictionary about now. No way these are Celtic.
Kara: No. They're Apokolyptian.
[sees Kara trapped in a ray beam]
Oliver Queen: You're Clark's cousin, Kara, right?
Kara: Yeah.
Oliver Queen: How long have you been down here? I got to get you out.
Kara: No, wait. It'll kill you.
[she throws a rock at the ray beam, the rock disintegrates]
Oliver Queen: Right. Okay. There's got to be some way to turn off this death ray from hell.

Oliver Queen: [reading off the Bow of Orion] "The only true power comes from within."
Granny Goodness: How deliciously selfish of you to want the bow just so you could remove the stain we put on your soul.
[Granny destroys the Bow of Orion]
Oliver Queen: No!
Granny Goodness: Thank you. You see, those traps we designed to keep the prophets out. Orion's bow was a light like the world will never see again. It's been the one power that Darkseid could not defeat.
Oliver Queen: I will find a way somehow to defeat you.
Granny Goodness: From the moment you were marked, you've been serving him. But you're not like the rest of your brethren. You've got real potential, and we've got bigger plans for you. Don't worry, dear. You won't remember any of this.

Oliver Queen: So let me get this straight - whoever wields the Bow of Orion can use it to vanquish darkness. Is that what you're saying?
Kara: According to the prophecy, yeah.
Oliver Queen: Well, that's me. Think about it - a bow, right? The medium is the message.
Kara: You never told me why you were seeking it.
Oliver Queen: Well, promise you won't tell anyone, but I'm trying to change my fate. The Bow of Orion is the key. It worked for him, right?
Kara: Only after he found the strength to turn away from the darkness, even though that meant turning away from his father.
Oliver Queen: Orion is Darkseid's son.
Kara: Yes. He was raised by some who believes in spreading the light instead of the darkness his birth-father created. And eventually he swore to serve that light instead.

"Arrow: Al Sah-Him (#3.21)" (2015)
[first lines]
Oliver Queen: [voice-over] My name was Oliver Queen. I worked three years to save my city. But to save my sister, I had to become someone else. I had to become something else.

Ra's al Ghul: You have made great progress in three weeks. Al Sah-him. You no longer flinch upon hearing your new name.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen is alive only in the past. He's forgotten.
Ra's al Ghul: Indeed. You are Al Sah-Him. You are Warith al Ghul. Heir to the demon.

Oliver Queen: [Season 3, Episode 21] My name was Oliver Queen I worked three years to save my city. But to save my sister, I had to become someone else. I had to become something else

"Arrow: Suicidal Tendencies (#3.17)" (2015)
Felicity Smoak: Last year, Ray's fiancée was killed by Mirakuru men. And now he wants to protect the city, so he built a suit out of military-grade technology and he wants to put you in jail, so he used my software to track you down, and he scanned you with his x-rays and now he knows you're the Arrow and he's going to tell the cops.
Oliver Queen: Palmer knows I'm the Arrow? And he has his own mission to protect the city? When were going to tell me this?
Felicity Smoak: I have been getting that a lot today. Look, it's not important. Here's what is - he's going to tell the police who you are!
Roy Harper: Wait, Ray built a super suit? That's kind of awesome. And reckless.

Ray Palmer: Arrow.
Oliver Queen: Super Suit.
Ray Palmer: I prefer "The Atom."

Oliver Queen: [to Felicity] I told you I couldn't be with you and save the city. Neither can Ray. He's just too new at this to know it.

"Arrow: Legends of Yesterday (#4.8)" (2015)
Thea Queen: A bunch of superheroes in a farmhouse? I feel like I've seen that in a movie before.
Oliver Queen: We need a secure location.
Caitlin Snow: What's wrong with S.T.A.R. Labs?
Oliver Queen: Well, I mean, absolutely nothing if you forget about the revolving doors you installed so the bad guys to come and go as they please.
Caitlin Snow: Remind me again what happened to your old lair, or the one before that.
Felicity Smoak: Well, lair number one was compromised by the police, and...
[Oliver looks at her]
Felicity Smoak: I will stop helping.

Oliver Queen: Thank you for coming. I know this is more than a little crazy.
Barry Allen: Yeah, well, your friend with the creepy ring asked so nicely. Please tell me we're not going to negotiate with terrorists. Or, you know, 4,000 year old bad guys.
Oliver Queen: Just think of this war as a fact-finding mission. Maybe Savage slips up and gives us something that we can use to our advantage.
Malcolm Merlyn: [scoffs] Thea said you were being a little more humorous lately.
Barry Allen: I'm sorry, how do you know so much about Savage, anyway?
Malcolm Merlyn: I don't know anything about him, Mr. Allen. No one does. That is why I'm afraid of him.
Vandal Savage: That's not the only reason to be afraid of me. I assure you.

Oliver Queen: Barry, you're late.
Barry Allen: Sorry. It turns out it's not easy finding the ass end of nowhere.

"Smallville: Patriot (#10.9)" (2010)
Lt. Trotter: Almost done, Mr. Queen.
Oliver Queen: What's with the secret workout room here, huh? Is this, uh, a secret tryout for the NFL?
Slade Wilson: You're strong and extremely agile with coordination that's off the charts.
Oliver Queen: I'm human.
Slade Wilson: Well, I commend your performance. We'd love to someone with your gifts serve our country. Help us bring your less cooperative cohorts.
Oliver Queen: Look, I'll be your poster boy. I'll say your words, I'll be your face, but it ends with *me*, you understand? Now, there are people out there who want to believe in you. They want to believe in this country. Give them a chance to prove that, to be the heroes that we all need.
Slade Wilson: You got nerve, I like that. But your draft card wasn't a two-for-one special. Please, allow me to make a more convincing argument.

Clark Kent: We all know what the government was up to. But those prisons were part of a much bigger threat. Hate crimes are up. People like Slade, they're getting more control. And Godfrey's anti-vigilante message - it's reaching more ears than ever before, and I don't think it's a coincidence.
Tess Mercer: Sadly, Clark, there's no mystery to human fear and hatred.
Clark Kent: This time, there might be. I think there's something more behind the darkness, something that hero haters like Slade don't even know is affecting them. When I sent the Kandorians away through the portal in space, I opened a door to something else to come to Earth.
Oliver Queen: Are you serious trying to tell me that, out of all the intergalactic bad boys we've ever faced, this one's actually worse?
Clark Kent: This is *much* worse. We can't even see it to fight it. This thing is like an evil that's spreading over the Earth. It preys upon the dark side that we already have. It feeds on our doubts, our fears, and our distrust.
Oliver Queen: Well, I'd say, from where I'm standing, and it's already on the winning side.
Clark Kent: I think it even affected Slade. Just before the facility exploded, I saw something on Slade's skull - the Omega symbol. It was like it was branded there. Almost like the mark...
Tess Mercer: ...of The Beast in Revelations.
Lois Lane: Which would explain why he veered so far off his marching orders.
Oliver Queen: I'm guessing you don' t think that Slade's the only pledge to the Alpha-Omega-Die fraternity, right?
Clark Kent: I think the Omega is the sign of corruption. A mark of the darkness has fully taken over someone.
Lois Lane: Didn't Kara say that a person had to be open to the darkness? That it can't infect anyone of pure heart?
Clark Kent: And which one of us doesn't have that weakness? A hidden hatred or fear that this thing couldn't prey upon?
Oliver Queen: So, basically this thing doesn't have to do anything.
Lois Lane: It just waits for everybody's weaknesses, and then we destroy ourselves.
Clark Kent: If we can't stop it, the darkness will infect every person on this planet.

Oliver Queen: You stick your foot in your mouth any further and you might end up losing a shoe!

"Arrow: Lone Gunmen (#1.3)" (2012)
John Diggle: So how was your evening, sir?
Oliver Queen: You mean after I said I had to go the bathroom at dinner and never came back?
John Diggle: I guess from now on I'll be watching you pee.

Oliver Queen: You don't think much of me, do you?
John Diggle: Actually, sir, I have a very high regard for how... perceptive you are.

Oliver Queen: I'm having some trouble with my computer and they told me that you were the person to come and see. I was at my coffee shop surfing the web and I spilt a latte on it.
Felicity Smoak: Really?
Oliver Queen: Yeah.
Felicity Smoak: 'Cause these look like bullet holes.
Oliver Queen: My coffee shop is in a bad neighborhood.

"Arrow: Legacy (#5.1)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: Must be nice to know someone down here who speaks Felicity.
Curtis Holt: Well, I'm strictly repair and maintenance. You guys are the vigilantes.

Anatoly Knyazev: I just dislocated thumbs. Useful if getting tired to chair to become habit. This is going to hurt a little.
[relocates Oliver's thumbs]
Oliver Queen: Son of a bitch!
Anatoly Knyazev: With a bit of practice, you can do yourself anytime.
Oliver Queen: Anatoly, can't you bring a knife next time?
Anatoly Knyazev: What is fun of that?

Quentin Lance: Lonely at the top, Mr. Mayor?
Oliver Queen: Actually being the mayor isn't the job that's lonely.
Quentin Lance: Thea?
Oliver Queen: Thea's not coming back. Neither is John. There's a Russian proverb I've been thinking about a lot recently. Akula, kotorya Ne plavayet, Ne tonet. "The shark that does not swim, drowns."
Quentin Lance: You don't move forward, you die. Listen, you will die if you try taking on this Tobias Church by yourself.
Oliver Queen: There's no more team, Quentin, and I can't trust anyone on the department.
Quentin Lance: Then don't. Just trust these guys. Lieutenant Conahan. I trained him back in the day. The guy's so clean, he doesn't even double park, and he's vouched for each of his officers.
Oliver Queen: To do what?
Quentin Lance: To help you whatever way we can?
Oliver Queen: "We"?
Quentin Lance: Look, I don't know any Russian proverbs, all right, but both of us have to move on.
Oliver Queen: Yeah.
Quentin Lance: I thought that was going to be a bigger fight.
Oliver Queen: That's what Laurel would have wanted.

"Smallville: Kandor (#9.7)" (2009)
Clark Kent: I can't believe my father's been on Earth all this whole time and Jor-El didn't tell me.
Oliver Queen: So... So when you say "Jor-El," are we talking about the guy in your ice-crystal-palace thing?
Clark Kent: He must've known what it would mean to me to meet my own father... to speak to an actual person and not just some voice in the Arctic. But again, Jor-El kept me in the dark.
Oliver Queen: Well, I'm sure there's a reason he didn't tell you the truth.
Clark Kent: He's probably afraid that in person, he's worse than I thought he was.
Oliver Queen: You really mean that, or is that the anger talking?
Clark Kent: There's... There's a part of me that I don't want to meet him at all.
Oliver Queen: Look, man, I... I can't imagine what its like to live your life. But there is one thing I can relate to, and that's growing up without parents. Clark, we don't get a second chance to be with them. And I tell you what, I'd go to hell and back just to wrap my arms around my old man one more time.

Clark Kent: When my dad died, I remembered thinking at least I'd have the memories of being with him here on the farm. With Jor-El being gone, all I have left with is...
Oliver Queen: Empty feeling inside.
Clark Kent: See, I had so many questions I wanted to ask him. Figure out who he really was.
Oliver Queen: It seems like to me you're a chip off the old block. After seeing how he saved our spunky sidekick, I'd say you're both heroes.
Clark Kent: I'll never be able to live up to everything he accomplished.
Oliver Queen: I don't know. I don't think anyone wears that super shield quite like you.

Oliver Queen: You know, Clark, if you wanted to bury me in the desert for going on that date with Lois, you could've at least taken me to Nevada.
Clark Kent: Oliver, let's not...
Oliver Queen: I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna put up a fight, but maybe we could've hit the Strip before the main event, you know what I mean? Maybe a little Blue Man Group. Maybe a little Carrot Top. You know, what I'm getting you next year for Christmas is a sense of humor.

"Arrow: Eleven-Fifty-Nine (#4.18)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: John, you are the one who always tells me do not have a blind spot when it comes to your family.
John Diggle: And you're the one who told me to give Andy a second chance. You're the one who wanted to extract him from HIVE. You're the one who said he could come back from the darkness the same way you did.
Oliver Queen: But I didn't. I've tried. I've tried harder at this than I ever have at anything, but at the end of the day, I am who those 5 years turned me into, I'm what they turned me into.
John Diggle: So what, Oliver, just because Felicity left you, I'm supposed to believe that all men are incapable of redemption? Not all men are like you, Oliver. Some of us change, some of us grow, some of us evolve. You are stuck, man, stuck in your self-pity and your self-righteousness, and that is why Felicity left you. My brother is my business. You have no idea what he's been through, and you sure as hell had no right right to judge him.

John Diggle: How are we gonna get through all those cops?
Oliver Queen: Looks like Lance has it covered.
Thea Queen: By laying into Lieutenant Pike apparently. And he just knocked him out.

Laurel Lance: I'm really glad that you found Felicity, and I hope you find your way back to her. And Ollie, I know that I am not the love of your life, but you will always be the love of mine.
Oliver Queen: Why are you telling me this? Why now?
Laurel Lance: Because tonight it was just a reminder that anything can happen, which is why I need you to promise me something.

"Smallville: Beacon (#10.13)" (2011)
Oliver Queen: [to Clark] You know, I can't stay holed up in Watchtower all day long. I'll drive myself crazy. And your mother was standing out here for me, too.

Oliver Queen: [to Alexander] So, what was that this morning, huh? Was that, uh - was that your idea to show Daddy you got the killer instinct, too? Is that what that was?
Lionel Luthor: Are you making an accusation against my son? No one will take your word, you're a convicted felon. You should have stayed out of the spotlight, but you wanted celebrity. You made one fatal mistake - you trusted them, the people. They're vulgar, uneducated, and stupid, and they don't even know what you're fighting for. Must be heart-wrenching.
Oliver Queen: Well, you got it all figured out. I'll tell you what - I wouldn't underestimate the common man in tomorrow's vote. When the VRA's repealed and my name is cleared, I'm coming after you.
Lionel Luthor: No, you're wrong. Tomorrow, the people will turn on you again, believe me. You missed the mark, Green Arrow.
Alexander Luthor: And now it's our turn... again.

Tess Mercer: Clark, Alexander's not the only Luthor that's crawling back into our lives. Lionel's here.
Clark Kent: Lionel?
Tess Mercer: He followed you from his parallel world and he knows about Alexander.
Oliver Queen: Uh, even worse, he's already found him. I just got back from father/son day at LuthorCorp. Alexander's all grown up. The family's back in business.

"Smallville: Isis (#10.5)" (2010)
Clark Kent: I'm telling Lois my secret.
Oliver Queen: Okay, that's officially the biggest news *I've* heard all day. Why now?
Clark Kent: I saw the future... recently.
Oliver Queen: Okay, now, *that's* officially the biggest news I've heard all day. You know you sound crazy when you talk like that, right?
Clark Kent: In the future, Lois already knew about me. What I didn't see is how I told her and when. My instincts have always been to keep my secret, but then I see five minutes of the future that seems to good to be true, and...
Oliver Queen: You came over here hoping that I would try to talk you out of telling her, right?
Clark Kent: No. Maybe.

Clark Kent: If I remember correctly, coming out to Lois did *not* have a happy ending. You told Lois the truth, and she dumped you.
Oliver Queen: That - We broke up. Look, Lois and I were never really meant to be together. Clark, she loves you. That makes you a lucky man. Take it from me, living without love is not really living, it's just sort of existing. The question you have to ask yourself is what are you willing to risk for love?

Tess Mercer: So let me get this straight. Lois finds a necklace, gets possessed by an Egyptian Goddess, and now is flying around like Amelia Earhart, minus the plane.
Oliver Queen: Just another Friday night in Metropolis. Who's ready for the weekend?

"Arrow: Monument Point (#4.21)" (2016)
Lyla Michaels: POTUS and SECDEF has taken us to Defcon-2.
John Diggle: Just two? They're optimistic.
Lyla Michaels: They don't want to cause a panic. The president asked me if the fate of the world is resting in the hands of an IT girl, a criminal, and two guys in Halloween costumes.
Oliver Queen: They're not Halloween costumes.

Lyla Michaels: Rubicon is a fail-safe against nuclear Armageddon. A.R.G.U.S. designed it to be 100% unhackable.
Oliver Queen: No, she can do it. She's the best.
Felicity Smoak: Well, actually, that woule be my father, as far as Rubicon is concerned. It uses Fourier protocols. Noah practically wrote the book on them.
[seeing Oliver's expression]
Felicity Smoak: The world is facing nuclear Armageddon. My pride and my general dislike for my father can take a backseat for the next twenty plus hours.
John Diggle: Felicity, this isn't about pride. Your father's a criminal. He can't be trusted.
Felicity Smoak: I'm not saying we should trust him. I'm saying we need to.

Oliver Queen: I'm not gonna pretend to understand what you're going through.
John Diggle: Well, Oliver, you've been through this with your mother, which is why I can't quite understand why you're putting the fate of the world in the hands of another evil parent.
Oliver Queen: I'm not trusting Kuttler. I trust Felicity. And we should just let her do her job, okay?

"Smallville: Identity (#8.7)" (2008)
Clark Kent: Oliver, I have no doubt that your parents would be proud of the person you've become. Except for one thing, and it's just a piece of friendly advice. Don't ever wear that cape again. It looked ridiculous.
Oliver Queen: Really? I kind of liked it. Sure helped with the aerodynamics. You should give it a try.
Clark Kent: Not in *this* lifetime.

Clark Kent: Tell me you're sober.
Oliver Queen: Let me tell you something - I wish I *wasn't* sober. I can be at a cabana in Aruba right now. Instead, I'm in the middle of downtown on a rooftop with you guys.
Clark Kent: You didn't hear *me* complain when I had to put on green leather to protect *your* identity.
Oliver Queen: Clark, you made out with my girlfriend, man. What did you have to complain about?

Clark Kent: Maybe my destiny is more than just secretly saving people. Maybe it was also to give people hope, someone to believe in.
Oliver Queen: I knew you'd catch on someday.
Clark Kent: Well, I just wanted to say thank you before you went on vacation.
Oliver Queen: Vacation's over Clark. I'm headed to Europe.
Clark Kent: On business?
Oliver Queen: Uh, yeah. Kinda. Kinda. You know my friends - the ones who like to dress up and kick ass? We're having a summit.
Clark Kent: What happened to the party plane?
Oliver Queen: Want to know the truth? I don't know. It's like, when I was zipping across the street, taking that punk down... Well, I felt like myself again, you know? Because that's who I am. I'm not the party boy who runs off on these lost rum-soaked weekends. I'm not some multinational corporate titan. That's not me. Underneath it all, the person I really am is Green Arrow.

"Smallville: Odyssey (#8.1)" (2008)
Dinah Lance: Well, unfortunately, we've still got a minor problem out there.
Arthur Curry: Yeah, you're not the only one thawing out from a little freezer burn there, Boy Scout.
Clark Kent: Lex.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. We sorted through all the Arctic tests, and there's no sign of any human remains.
Clark Kent: We need to find him. He knows my secret.
Oliver Queen: It's not gonna be as easy as you think. The new C.E.O. of Luthorcorp's even more deceptive than Lex ever was.
Dinah Lance: And now that our masks have been ripped off, we're seriously hampered.
Arthur Curry: We might as well be wearing name tags.
Clark Kent: We need to split up.
Oliver Queen: We? I'd be careful, Clark. Pretty soon, you'll be sporting a homemade costume and leading a double identity just like the rest of us.
Dinah Lance: You might want to try something a little more formfitting.
Oliver Queen: We split up and cut off contact with each other. We lay low, found out what we can about Lex.

Clark Kent: How does an ice fortress disappear into thin air?
Oliver Queen: I feel like there's a punch line to that question.

Oliver Queen: Clark's not like us. It's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a little snow and ice to bring him down.
Dinah Lance: Victor and Bart have been covering the entire southern hemisphere. They haven't found anything. What makes you think we will?
Oliver Queen: Clark would never give up on us. We're not giving up on him.

"Arrow: Betrayal (#1.13)" (2013)
Tommy Merlyn: Can I talk to you about something?
Oliver Queen: Tommy, every time you want to talk to me about something and that something is Laurel, you look like you're about to tell me you have a terminal disease.

Oliver Queen: [listening to Dig's recording of Moira] I've listened to this fifteen times. It's definitely her voice, Diggle. I just... I can't believe it's her.
John Diggle: We all have blind spots when it comes to family.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. Laurel's almost got her killed tonight. Vanch never would've known about her connection to me if Lance hadn't lied to her.
John Diggle: Guess the lesson here is blind trust can be dangerous.

John Diggle: What's the undertaking?
Oliver Queen: I don't know. But with all this talk about threats, it can't be good.

"Arrow: Beyond Redemption (#4.4)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: Three years you've looked at me with contempt and utter disdain, so I'm wondering, do I have that look on my face now?
Quentin Lance: What the hell you talking about?
Oliver Queen: I'm talking about you... and Damien Darhk.

Oliver Queen: You know a funny thing. You're a main reason behind me running for Mayor. A part of me has always wanted you to see what kind of man I really am! I didn't expect to wind up finding out what kind of man you really are.

Quentin Lance: What is it, you wanna tell me you're running for president now?
Oliver Queen: Your detectives aren't dead because of gang violence. They were killed by cops.
Quentin Lance: What are you talking about?
Oliver Queen: The SIM card that you gave us, it led to the killer's armory and all the equipment, the weapons, it was all SCPD issue.
Quentin Lance: Who is it?
Oliver Queen: It could be anyone in the department. These guys have been taking down drug busts, so I had Thea procure a couple kilos of cocaine...
Quentin Lance: Your mayoral campaign is off to a fantastic start then.

"Young Justice: Satisfaction (#2.8)" (2012)
Roy Harper: So, let me get this straight. While I was on ice you found another Roy Harper, the sidekicks formed their own team, aliens invaded the Earth, and Ollie grew that dopey goatee?
Red Arrow: We try not to call ourselves "sidekicks".
Oliver Queen: You don't like the goatee?

Red Arrow: Lex Luthor and the Light, this criminal organization he works with, abducted you. they amputated your arm.
Roy Harper: Why? To keep me from using my bow?
Red Arrow: No, they needed an endless supply of your DNA. To perfect their human cloning process...
Roy Harper: So that's what you are. A clone.
Red Arrow: Yeah... they grew me, or rather force-grew me. In a matter of months, I looked your age. They programmed me with all your memories and skills... and worse.
Oliver Queen: Then they spoon-fed me clues to your location. I thought I was doing detective's work, but in hindsight... you've been missing three months. I'd been going crazy, so when I found you- him... I didn't question the good fortune. I had no idea it wasn't the real... the original you. No idea Luthor had stored you on ice all this time.
Roy Harper: [to Red Arrow] So... what you're saying is, you took my place. You've been living my life for eight years.
Oliver Queen: And he's been tirelessly searching for you in five of those years.
Roy Harper: Huh, but not you, Ollie. You gave up on me.
Red Arrow: I don't want to be the cause of more conflict between you two. I'd understand if you'd never want to lay eyes on me again.
Roy Harper: I dunno. Seems the clone didn't do anything wrong. He didn't ask to be created, plus he found me. I can't blame him for this.
[to Oliver]
Roy Harper: BUT I CAN TOTALLY BLAME YOU!
Oliver Queen: Roy, I...
Roy Harper: We were partners! Friends! How could you not know I had been replaced? How could you leave me in Luthor's hands for eight years?... And how did I not see how useless you are. Get out. GET OUT!
[Oliver sadly leaves the room]
Roy Harper: Look, uh "Roy"... I need some time to process all this.
Red Arrow: I understand.

Oliver Queen: It's a curse, isn't it. Having me for a mentor. Speedy, Red Arrow... Artemis. The three of you all poster children of the "Stay away from Green Arrow club".
Red Arrow: I may have not always shown it over the years, but I don't feel that way. Neither did Artemis. And trust me, I know Roy doesn't feel that way either. Not really. You're a good man, Ollie. So get back in there. He needs you, whether he knows it or not.

"Smallville: Checkmate (#9.16)" (2010)
Tess Mercer: So it's you... parading around in green leather.
Oliver Queen: It was me.
Tess Mercer: I can't believe you wear tights.
Oliver Queen: They're *not* tights.

Tess Mercer: You buried an arrow into my chest, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: Actually it was a Taser.
Tess Mercer: Well, it bruised.
Oliver Queen: Well, better bruised than dead.

Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: I didn't think you were gonna show.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: Well, you know, I figure it's a public place. There's only so many weapons you can throw at me.
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: I'm sorry. For everything I've done that's destroyed your trust.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: I don't think there's enough stationery for that, Tess.
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: I told you how to shut down The Castle's power grid. That's worth something, isn't it?
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: What am I supposed to do here? You want me to do, uh, handstands because you helped solve a problem that you created?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: I never would have gone after you if I had known that you were the Green Arrow.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: So it's back on me?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: This might be the last time that I ever see you. When I joined Checkmate, I took an oath. An oath I wanna break. But there's only one way to leave Checkmate.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen:
[sighs]
Oliver Queen: What are you gonna do?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer:
[Clears throat]
Tess Mercer: I'm gonna go AWOL. I'm gonna go underground.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: That's good. You know, I got to ask you a question, though. Did it hurt to do something moral for once, Tess? Did it hurt you?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: Oliver, I'm taking a chance just being out here with you in the open.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: Yeah, okay, I understand that. Okay, we've gotten that far. W-what is it that you want? You're asking me for something. What is it you want? What do you want?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer: Forgive me, Oliver. Oliver, I need your help. Please.
Oliver Queen: Oliver Queen: There are times when I wish I could go back, those Santorini sunsets, your freckles and your big dreams of changing the world. Back when I could trust you. Then you betrayed me, Tess. You, of all people. And if you ever come near me or my friends ever again, I will expose you to the world. Do you understand?
Tess Mercer: Tess Mercer:
[Breathes shakily, starts crying]

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 (2013) (V)
Bruce Wayne: What is it you want, Oliver?
Oliver Queen: A piece of him. The schoolboy. I always knew it would come down to the two of you someday. The world's not big enough for the both of you. Doesn't have to be a big piece. Just count me in, for old times' sake.

Robin: Eyes downside, spud.
Oliver Queen: Hi-ho freaking silver.

"Smallville: Bloodline (#8.8)" (2008)
Oliver Queen: Phantom Zone, huh? Seriously, who names these things?
Chloe Sullivan: Picture an alien Alcatraz, and if I don't bail Clark out soon, who knows that kind of havoc Lo-bot will leave in her wake.

Oliver Queen: Hallmark didn't have any, uh, "Welcome back to Earth" cards, so...
Clark Kent: Oliver. It's nice to see everyone has a key to this place. I spoke to Chloe. She said, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here right now. Thanks.
Oliver Queen: Actually, uh, if it wasn't for Chloe tweaking into a supercomputer, you wouldn't be here right now. Her eyes turned white, and she, uh, with one hand, mind you, pushed me into the next room. So, uh, what happened to her?
Clark Kent: It's Brainiac. He infected her somehow.
Oliver Queen: What are you doing about this?
Clark Kent: Everything I can. I've tried to talk to her, but I can't control her life.
Oliver Queen: *Her* life? It's not her life anymore, Clark. She's living yours. Chloe's knee-deep in these situations that - pardon the expression, but humans just don't understand. As her best friend... make her stop before she gets hurt.

"Arrow: A.W.O.L. (#4.11)" (2016)
Felicity Smoak: Thank you for always being on my side.
Oliver Queen: No place I'd rather be.

Oliver Queen: The doctor said your condition is permanent, and I don't think that it's healthy or productive for either of us to... live in denial, but I have seen people speed and shrink and fly. We watched a friend of ours come back from the dead. That is the world we live in now. And I will not stop searching it until we find a way to make you walk again.

"Smallville: Pandora (#9.9)" (2009)
Oliver Queen: You know, for a guy who just got a mondo dose of kryptonite, you sure seem happy.
Clark Kent: Well, the sun is shining, Lois is going to be all right.
Chloe Sullivan: She should be fine. Dr. Emil ran every possible test on her, and she's healthy and doesn't remember a thing. Except, of course, the flowers that Clark sent to her hospital room, but who could forget five dozen roses?
Oliver Queen: Five dozen roses? Wow. That's subtle.

Chloe Sullivan: [to Clark and Oliver] Look, I really don't get why the two of you are grinning, considering the fact we're all about to die terribly tragic deaths in the not-so-distant future.
Clark Kent: That's because if we do something in the present, we can change all that.
Oliver Queen: Well, I vote we take Zod out right now. That way, he doesn't have a chance to take the sunshine off our shoulders.
Clark Kent: No. In the future that I saw, I tried to fight Zod. All I did was turn him into a more powerful enemy.
Chloe Sullivan: Clark, just because you learned a lesson in teamwork doesn't mean we have to stop fighting Zod.
Clark Kent: But going up against Zod, will only force him to come back with everything he has.
Oliver Queen: So, what, you think you two can just hug it out?
Clark Kent: When my father said "Save Zod," what I think he meant was save Zod from himself. Now, if I can befriend him and show him how good life can be here...
Chloe Sullivan: That would be a mistake. Clark, if Zod gets his solar towers online, that gives him all the power in the world and us *none*, including you. Zod will fly psychopathic circles around you.
Clark Kent: Chloe, I've seen what happens when I treat Zod like the enemy. This time, I'm gonna do things the *right* way.

"Arrow: Dodger (#1.15)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: It's not how I typically get my information.
Felicity Smoak: How do you typically do it?
Oliver Queen: I find the person. And then I put the fear of god into them until they talk. But we can try it your way.

Oliver Queen: Hey, I need your bike.
Biker: Are you kidding me?
Oliver Queen: No.
[knocks him unconscious]

"Arrow: Identity (#2.2)" (2013)
Felicity Smoak: Did you know I went to M.I.T.? Guess what I majored in? Hint - Not the secretarial arts.
Oliver Queen: Felicity! We all need to have secret identities now. If I'm going to be Oliver Queen CEO, then I can't very well travel down 18 floors every time you and I need to discuss how we spend our nights.
Felicity Smoak: And I love spending the night with you. 3, 2, 1. I worked very hard to get where I am, and it wasn't so I can fetch you coffee.
John Diggle: Well, it could be worse. My secret identity is his black driver.

Oliver Queen: Ms. Smoak. Would you get my guest and I some coffee?
Felicity Smoak: You know, I would Mr. Queen, but it seems that someone has broken the coffeemaker. Violently.

"Arrow: Legacies (#1.6)" (2012)
John Diggle: Please tell me you're not going where I think you're going.
Oliver Queen: Diggle, why do you even ask?

Oliver Queen: My father made mistakes. He hurt people. When people are hurt, people are in trouble, they tend to make the wrong choices. Right, Derek? But those choices don't have to define you. They don't have to define who your family will be. Because there's always one moment when you can turn it all around. If my father had another chance, I think he'd do things differently, but time ran out for him.
Derek Reston: How poetic. That doesn't help me get my house back, now does it?
Oliver Queen: No, it doesn't. No, all I can offer you is an apology and a job. Queen Consolidated has subsidiaries all over the country. I make one phone call, you start next week. So what do you say?
Derek Reston: How about "I still have some pride left"? Now, I don't need charity from the son of the man who screwed me over.
Oliver Queen: Okay.
[Oliver pulls a business card out of his pocket and puts it on the table]
Oliver Queen: You change your mind?
[Oliver stands up to leave]
Oliver Queen: You and I have one thing in common. We're both dealing with the consequences of my father's actions. What he did then, that's on him. What we do now, that's on us.

"Arrow: Public Enemy (#3.18)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: The only move that Ra's has left me is telling the truth. You have no idea how powerful the truth can be.

Quentin Lance: Lian Yu.
Oliver Queen: What about it?
Quentin Lance: This, uh, Ra's character, he told me that Sara made it to the island with you. You didn't feel like sharing that with me? Huh? I mean, I'm only her father. Well, I was. When did you decide that you knew what was best for my family?
Oliver Queen: I love your family.
Quentin Lance: [slugs Oliver] You got to right to remain silent. Take it!
Oliver Queen: Just ask me what you want to know.
Quentin Lance: [scoffs] What do I want to know? Well, was it worth it? All that pain and misery you brought back from the island? Merlyn, Slade Wilson? Wouldn't it be better if you just died there?
Oliver Queen: The reason I came back was to try and save the people of the city.
Quentin Lance: I hate to break it to you, but saving people isn't your specialty. Tommy. Hilton. Your mother. My daughter. And now you're set on killing Laurel, too.
Oliver Queen: I didn't want her to be involved in this. I didn't want anyone to be involved in this.
Quentin Lance: But you involved me. You spent a year making me look like a fool. You spent a year making me your accomplice. You have any idea what you've done, huh? What you've done to all of us, to the people you claim to care so much about? You've made us criminals! You've made us liars and victims. You, Mr. Queen, are not a hero. You're a villain. But you know that, don't you?

"Smallville: Ambush (#10.7)" (2010)
Clark Kent: You got to go.
Oliver Queen: What, the window? What are we, 16?
Clark Kent: Now.

Tess Mercer: No need to worry, my friend.
Oliver Queen: I think it's a little early for "friend." "Friendly" - I can do that. I can be friendly.
Tess Mercer: I'll take it. I was beginning to think the best I could do was "frenemy."
Oliver Queen: I don't even know what that means. We've, uh... We've survived tax audits and typhoons together, Tess. I think we're practically like family at this point.
Tess Mercer: We've come a long way. From the middle of the ocean to the top of the city.
Oliver Queen: I can work with that.

"Smallville: Escape (#9.15)" (2010)
Silver Banshee: I was denied vengeance, just as I was denied power. But now I shall have both.
Oliver Queen: I'm all about the girl power really, but, I got to be honest with you, I don't see you breaking through any glass ceilings with that hair.

Lois Lane: [sees Oliver and Chloe] Hey guys! Come here. Sit with us.
Clark Kent: [speaking to Chloe] Quiet weekend at home, huh?
Chloe Sullivan: Trust me, we had no idea the two of you would be here.
Lois Lane: And we had no idea there was even a "you two," which I think is perfect. I think fate has brought us together.
Oliver Queen: Well it's ah...
[everyone exchanges awkward looks]
Oliver Queen: It's a little less fate, actually.
Chloe Sullivan: More fame.
Oliver Queen: [agreeing with Chloe] Fame.
Chloe Sullivan: This is so far off the beaten path that even the society pages couldn't find Star City's most eligible bachelor here.
Lois Lane: You mean *ex-bachelor*.
Chloe Sullivan: Okay, enough about that. How did you guys manage to find the road less traveled?
Clark Kent: Well, I found their brochure at the apartment. I figured Lois wanted to come here.
Lois Lane: What brochure?
Chloe Sullivan: That wasn't Lois' brochure, Clark. That was mine.
[awkward looks are again exchanged]
Clark Kent: How was I supposed to know that Oliver...?
Chloe Sullivan: You weren't. That's the point.
Oliver Queen: [Clark looks over at Oliver for help] Oh, don't look at me. I learned long ago not to assume what belongs to who in that apartment. You gotta use context clues.
Lois Lane: Yeah, speaking of clues let's talk about Mr. Green, in the bedroom, with my cousin.
Oliver Queen: There it is.
Clark Kent: Lois, I think they came here for brunch.
Lois Lane: Good point.
[smiles some what threateningly at Chloe]
Lois Lane: Look Chloe, there's food.
Chloe Sullivan: [Lois grabs Chloe by the arm and drags her outside] Woah!
Oliver Queen: [Clark and Oliver are at a loss for words] There's little jellies.

"Arrow: The Scientist (#2.8)" (2013)
Felicity Smoak: Mrs. Queen, welcome back to the company.
Moira Queen: Thank you.
Felicity Smoak: You look fabulous. Really, better than ever. Did you do something to your hair?
Moira Queen: Yes. I shampooed it without eight woman and a guard watching me.
Felicity Smoak: Is it okay to laugh? Because I was ordered not say anything about you being in prison just to avoid any awkward exchanges.
Oliver Queen: Like that one.

Barry Allen: Uh, it takes about 1200 50-foot pounds of torque to break someone's neck. See the mark on the guard's neck? The bruising patterns suggests the killer used only one hand. I'm guessing you don't know how hard it is to break someone's neck.
Oliver Queen: Hmm? No. No idea.

"Smallville: Reunion (#6.5)" (2006)
Young Geoffrey: [to Lex after he's beat up Duncan] Dude, psycho much?
Young Oliver: There's something seriously wrong with you.

Oliver Queen: What happened to Duncan, the way I treated both of you, it's not something that I'm proud of. I want you to know how much I regret it.
Lex Luthor: And I regret ever thinking I needed friends like you.

"Arrow: Salvation (#1.18)" (2013)
Felicity Smoak: Nothing. It's just - you went over there to get all "Grrr. Stop being bad or I'll arrow you." And now you want to rescue him?
Oliver Queen: I don't like the idea that somebody dangerous is out there... Somebody else. Because typically they don't show my level of restraint.

Oliver Queen: Laurel, if you wanna have a dinner, or coffee, I don't know... Call me.
Laurel Lance: Why?
Oliver Queen: [pauses] I don't wanna be on an island anymore.

"Arrow: Canary Cry (#4.19)" (2016)
Oliver Queen: Do you know why I always blame myself in situations like this? Because at least it's an answer. Sometimes, we just need a reason when a situation is completely unreasonable.

Oliver Queen: Are you okay?
Felicity Smoak: Are you?
Oliver Queen: No.
Oliver Queen: You know what you have to do right? You have to kill that son of a bitch.
Oliver Queen: I know. I don't know how.
Felicity Smoak: Because of his magic.
Oliver Queen: His ma - it's too strong. I've seen it before, back on Lian Yu. And whenever I have come up against it I have gone nowhere. It - he feels unstoppable.
Felicity Smoak: I refuse to believe that. I refuse to let you believe that. If Darkh wins, Laurel died for nothing. I fell in love with you for many reasons and one of those reasons is is that you always find a way, and you have to find a way now, for Laurel, for the city... For all of us.

"Arrow: Bratva (#5.12)" (2017)
Anatoly Knyazev: I have location for Walker and men to help in fight, but we have to leave now.
Curtis Holt: [in Russian] Thank you so much!
Anatoly Knyazev: Your strange friend's pronunciation is horrible.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. I'll tutor him later.

Anatoly Knyazev: Alexi Leonov... Remember, yes? He was one of your brothers.
Oliver Queen: Let me explain.
Anatoly Knyazev: You asked favor of him. He asked favor in return and you pulled gun on him instead?
Oliver Queen: You know why I can't be some Bratva thug.
Anatoly Knyazev: You made promise. You swore oath, and now one of your brothers is dead. So why should I welcome you as brother? Go home, Oliver. There's nothing for you here.

"Arrow: Unfinished Business (#1.19)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: Oh, look at these. What sort of business has a lost and found that's just filled with women's underwear?
Tommy Merlyn: Best business ever? Ohh, having this much fun should be against the law.
Quentin Lance: Oh, if wishing made it so.

Shado: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
Oliver Queen: Confucius, great. I'm startling to see the family resemblance.
Shado: Laozi, actually.

"Arrow: The Man Under the Hood (#2.19)" (2014)
Sara Lance: Don't be nervous.
Felicity Smoak: I'm a lot nervous. This is a big move, even for us, and we've cornered the market on big moves.
Oliver Queen: Slade didn't give us any choice.
Felicity Smoak: Yeah, but as far as plans go, this is not a good one.
Oliver Queen: Felicity, this was your plan.
Felicity Smoak: I didn't think you'd actually say yes.

[Sara takes down a security guard]
Oliver Queen: Hey! That man used to work for me.
Sara Lance: And now he works for our enemy.

"Arrow: Guilty (#3.6)" (2014)
Roy Harper: That guy? He said I was just another weapon in your arsenal.
Oliver Queen: Well, maybe that's what we should call you, then. Arsenal.

Maseo Yamashiro: Do you know steganography?
Oliver Queen: Is that the dinosaur with the plates on its back?

"Smallville: Injustice (#8.21)" (2009)
Oliver Queen: [referring to a bottle of wine] It's a '64 Soleil. It's from my private collection. I was just thinking we could just take the afternoon off, and, uh, pop the cork.
Tess Mercer: Keep your cork... in your pants.

Oliver Queen: We do what we have to do, Clark! And deep down in your heart, you know that it was my only choice 'cause you're gonna do the exact same thing when you find Davis Bloome. And all I can do is hope that the guilt doesn't wear you down as much as it does me.
Clark Kent: Thank you, Oliver. But I'll take it from here.
Oliver Queen: All right, look, we don't see eye to eye on everything. That's no secret, Clark. We're still on the same side.
Clark Kent: No, we're not.
Oliver Queen: I see. You're not gonna use that thing to kill him, are you?
Clark Kent: I'm gonna use it to split Davis from the beast and send Doomsday to the Phantom Zone alone.
Oliver Queen: Well, I guess I wasn't the only one hiding something, then.
Clark Kent: I didn't have a choice, Oliver. I had to tell what you wanted to hear so you'd get me the Black Kryptonite.
Oliver Queen: How many more lives are you willing to sacrifice if your plan fails *this* time, Clark? Put your ego aside. You have a responsibility.
Clark Kent: My responsibility is to do what's right. Like it or not, we stand for something. We're set an example for others to follow. If we don't, then we're no better than the people we fight.
Oliver Queen: I'm not your enemy, Clark.
Clark Kent: Then who are you?

"Arrow: Uprising (#3.12)" (2015)
Tatsu Yamashiro: Are you trying to kill yourself?
Oliver Queen: I have to get back.
Tatsu Yamashiro: You have to rest. I suppose you planned to leave without telling me.
Oliver Queen: Well, I noticed you wouldn't approve. You saved my life. Thank you.
Tatsu Yamashiro: Maseo saved it. I nearly treated it, and you are going to undo all that work if you try to leave now.
Oliver Queen: I can't stay here any longer. My sister, my city.
Tatsu Yamashiro: Will mourn your passing I'm sure.
Oliver Queen: If you are so concerned, just come with me. You can make sure I drink my penicillin tea.

Oliver Queen: Felicity...
Felicity Smoak: I need some air really means I don't want to talk right now...
Oliver Queen: I'm sorry...
Felicity Smoak: For what? Maybe you could be a little more specific: Letting us think you were dead? For weeks? Or by abandoning every principle you claimed to have by getting into bed with Malcom Merlyn?
Oliver Queen: That's not what has you upset.
Felicity Smoak: When you were gone... for almost a month... I allowed myself to fantasize. To dream that maybe, just maybe... Merlyn was wrong. That you were alive. That you'd come back.
[Off Oliver]
Felicity Smoak: And that when you did, maybe you'd be different. That almost dying would give you a new perspective on life. That you would do things differently...
Oliver Queen: Things between us, you mean.
Felicity Smoak: Before you left, the last thing you said was that you loved me.
[What hurts]
Felicity Smoak: Now you're back... And the first thing you tell me is that you're working with the man who turned your sister... who you're supposed to love... into a killer, who killed a woman you used to love.
[Heartbroken]
Felicity Smoak: I don't want to be a woman you love.

"Smallville: Collateral (#10.12)" (2011)
Chloe Sullivan: You're not hallucinating, Oliver, and you're not insane. Trust me.
Oliver Queen: Really? Well, that's kind of hard to believe, considering you just materialized out of a wall.

Chloe Sullivan: I've got to get you out of here.
Oliver Queen: Chloe? Hate to rain on your program, but I'm in a straight jacket. I'm in a cell in a lockdown wing of a hospital. I-I'm not going anywhere.
Chloe Sullivan: Only if you believe that's true. Simple mind over matter. Because I believe everything I see is fake, I'm not limited by it. I have power. The sooner you believe everything you see is fantasy, the sooner you can manipulate it. Break free of it.
Oliver Queen: [straight jacket on him disappears] How'd you do that?
Chloe Sullivan: I didn't. *You* did.

"Smallville: Finale (#10.21)" (2011)
Oliver Queen: Clark, I don't think taking a scalpel to your past is gonna turn you into the caped Skywalker of your future.

Clark Kent: Everything's okay now.
Oliver Queen: No, it's not. Looks like the world's gonna needs its heroes sooner than we thought.

"Arrow: Restoration (#4.3)" (2015)
John Diggle: You took a bullet for me.
Oliver Queen: They were meta-human tattoo playing cards.
John Diggle: Still counts, Oliver. Still counts.

John Diggle: You crossed the line, man.
Oliver Queen: I get it. I understand that I crossed a line. I understand that I lost your trust. What I do not understand is why you won't give me a chance to earn it back.

"Arrow: Taken (#4.15)" (2016)
John Diggle: What about Constantine?
Oliver Queen: He's in Hell.
Thea Queen: Really? What's going on?
Oliver Queen: I mean, he's actually literally in Hell.

Oliver Queen: Mari and I had an animated encounter last year, and we've stayed in touch ever since.

"Smallville: Echo (#9.4)" (2009)
Tess Mercer: What the hell were you thinking, Oliver? They could have killed you.
Oliver Queen: Yeah. You really didn't give them a chance, did you? And now, we'll never know.
Tess Mercer: Were you even aware that one of your factories blew up? Do you give a damn about *anything* anymore?
Oliver Queen: Please tell me you didn't waste all that jet fuel to come down here and deliver me a lecture.

Clark Kent: How'd you know the pressure plate wasn't real?
Oliver Queen: I didn't.
Clark Kent: Oliver...
Oliver Queen: I waited till the last person got out, Clark. I knew the explosion wouldn't kill you.

"Legends of Tomorrow: Out of Time (#2.1)" (2016)
Nate Heywood: Thank you for not having me arrested back there. Those security guards kind of overreacted. You know, one of them tried to mace me.
Oliver Queen: Dr. Heywood, I only agreed to give you five minutes, which was three minutes ago, because Ray and Sara are friends of mine. But I don't know the first thing about any Legends.
Nate Heywood: Of course you do, because you're the Green Arrow.
Oliver Queen: Excuse me?
Nate Heywood: Huh?
Oliver Queen: We're done here.
Nate Heywood: Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to drop a bomb on you like that. It's just... I've exhausted all my normal avenues, and you're the only person left who won't think I'm crazy.
Oliver Queen: Are you sure about that?

Nate Heywood: How'd you go from the court of Louis XIII to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean?
Mick Rory: You said you wanted to hear the full story.
Oliver Queen: We do, just some of us have lives that we'd like to get back to.

"Arrow: The Promise (#2.15)" (2014)
Dr. Anthony Ivo: It's harder than it looks, isn't it? Killing an unarmed man.
Oliver Queen: It seemed pretty easy when you murdered Shado.
Dr. Anthony Ivo: I didn't murder her, Oliver.
Oliver Queen: Ivo, you shot her in the head.
Dr. Anthony Ivo: I gave you a choice! You chose Sara. You blame me, but that's because you can't face your own guilt. I loaded the bullets, yes, I pulled the trigger, but you... you aimed the gun. And you hold yourself responsible. Don't you?
Oliver Queen: Yes. But that doesn't mean I won't kill you.

Oliver Queen: Cyrus Gold, the man in the skull mask, all this was you. They worked for you.
Slade Wilson: Well, I have my allies, just as you have yours. John Diggle, for example. I suppose you're wondering why he hasn't taken his head shot. Don't worry. He's still alive - for now.

"Arrow: The Fallen (#3.20)" (2015)
Oliver Queen: I am Al Sah-Him Warith Al Ghul, heir to the Demon, and you will obey!

John Diggle: Oliver. Oliver, I don't know what to say
Oliver Queen: I do. John, you're the best man I've ever known. Whatever happens, you're my brother.
[Oliver and Diggle embrace]
Felicity Smoak: I'm afraid I will never forgive myself for leaving you here.
Oliver Queen: You told me once that life's precious and that you wanted more from it than I could offer you. Don't give up on that. The only way that I'm gonna survive this is if I know that you're out there living your life, happy.
Felicity Smoak: We're always saying goodbye to each other. You'd think I'd be good at it by now.
Oliver Queen: Well, let's not say goodbye this time.
[Oliver and Felicity kiss]

"Smallville: Masquerade (#10.14)" (2011)
Clark Kent: You're upset and in no condition to go up against the darkness.
Oliver Queen: And you're in a *better* condition?
Clark Kent: Right now, I don't have a choice. Now, stay put.
[waits until Clark is gone]
Oliver Queen: Like hell.

Chloe Sullivan: [Oliver and Chloe have stolen another couple's reservations and had dinner] That was delicious.
Oliver Queen: [grunts in agreement]
Hostess: But, oh my God right?
[referring to the shared joke over the stolen reservations]
Oliver Queen: [Oliver sees the Hostess approaching and fears being "caught"] Oh.
Hostess: Phone call from your wife, Mr. Jones.
[hands Oliver a cordless telephone receiver and turns to Chloe]
Hostess: You want my advice? You catch a cab, and you let him take that limo back home. Alone.
Oliver Queen: [both Chloe and Oliver are enjoying the irony of the moment immensely] I don't know.
[speaks into the receiver]
Oliver Queen: Hello, dear.
[Chloe puts her head on the table so she doesn't burst out laughing]

"Arrow: An Innocent Man (#1.4)" (2012)
Oliver Queen: Hello, Diggle's sister-in-law Carly. I'm Oliver Queen.
Carly Diggle: I know who you are.
John Diggle: No, you really don't.

John Diggle: You really did lose your mind on that island.
Oliver Queen: Found a couple of things along the way.
John Diggle: Like what? Archery classes?
Oliver Queen: Clarity.

"Arrow: Muse of Fire (#1.7)" (2012)
Thea Queen: [on the phone] Mom says I'm supposed to remind you to pick her up for lunch.
Oliver Queen: Was I supposed to have lunch with her today?
Thea Queen: She says she left you, like, five messages. Just bite the bullet and have a Cobb salad with the woman.
Oliver Queen: You know, Thea, sometimes it's difficult to remember which one of you is my mother.
[he hangs up on her]

Helena Bertinelli: I know it must have been hell for you. Alone on that island, for five years. But, um...
Oliver Queen: But, what?
Helena Bertinelli: But was there ever a day when you were just... happy to be away from everything? No pressure from your family, no need to be the person that everyone else expect you to be. Was there ever a day when...
Oliver Queen: When I didn't feel lost, I felt free? More than one. And those are the days that I miss.

"Arrow: Crucible (#2.4)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: I see the signs and the graffiti; "Blood for Mayor." Now that the "Mayor" is in jail, maybe you should run.
Sebastian Blood: There's more than one way to save a city.

Oliver Queen: Hey.
Laurel Lance: Please do not ask me if I'm okay, because I'm sick to death of everyone asking me that.
Oliver Queen: I would never do that.
Laurel Lance: Good.
Oliver Queen: You okay?

"Arrow: Brotherhood (#4.7)" (2015)
Quentin Lance: Not bad. Not quite as powerful as the Green Arrows, but not bad.
Oliver Queen: Yeah? Maybe I should get him to endorse me.

"Smallville: Homecoming (#10.4)" (2010)
Oliver Queen: I lost someone. She meant everything to me.
TV Reporter: So, for that you want what, a merit badge and special rights?
Oliver Queen: No. No, you're right. I'm not special. This isn't about who I am. It's about what I do. And I-I don't think I'm the first rich boy who felt that way. It was John F. Kennedy who once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
TV Reporter: So now you're comparing yourself to a fallen hero of this country?
Oliver Queen: Well, why not? He saw the hero in all of us. I'm not dwelling on revenge of past atrocities or looking from to what I can personally gain from a few tax breaks, drilling oil wells in the ocean, putting up razor-wired fences to keep out immigrants who only want what our grandparents wanted. In this world of armchair bloggers who created a generation of critics instead of leaders, I'm actually doing something, right here, right now, for the city, for my country. And I'm not doing it alone. You're damn right I'm a hero.

"Arrow: State v. Queen (#2.7)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: What do you want?
Count Vertigo: World peace and personal satisfaction.
Count Vertigo: Though not necessarily in that order.

"Smallville: Doomsday (#8.22)" (2009)
Oliver Queen: You've never wanted to admit it... but there is a darker side to humanity.
Clark Kent: I know there is. I'm looking at it right now.
Oliver Queen: Not everyone's worth saving. We need to take care of Davis Bloome.
Clark Kent: And by "take care of", you mean murder?
Bart Allen: Okay, dudes, you guys have got, like, some - some serious tension going on here.
Dinah Lance: Ollie, what's he talking about?
Clark Kent: Oliver crossed the line. He killed Lex Luthor.
Oliver Queen: You're making a mistake.
Clark Kent: You're not one of us anymore.

"Smallville: Sacrifice (#9.19)" (2010)
Clark Kent: I let myself in.
Oliver Queen: Terrific. You, uh, hop up to the helipad or just superspeed past security, Clark?
Clark Kent: I used the elevator.
Oliver Queen: How human of you.

"Arrow: So It Begins (#5.6)" (2016)
Evelyn Sharp: For a long time, I blamed you for my parents dying. That you were responsible for leaving them to suffocate in one of Damien Darhk's testing chambers.
Oliver Queen: I know.
Evelyn Sharp: It took a lot for me to come work with you. Knowing all this, it doesn't make it any easier.
Oliver Queen: Evelyn, are you sure you should be out there tonight?
Evelyn Sharp: Yes, I am. Because I'm doing this, protecting people, for me. Not for you.

"Smallville: Committed (#8.5)" (2008)
[Clark and Lois walk into the jewelry store while pretending to be a couple]
Lois Lane: A smile now and then wouldn't kill you.
Clark Kent: They're in short supply, Lois. I wouldn't want to waste one.
Jeweler: May I help you?
Lois Lane: Well, we are finally out ring shopping. Who's the luckiest girl in the world?... I am!
Clark Kent: Some friends of ours said that your store is the best place in town to find engagement rings.
Jeweler: Is there a certain piece that you would like to see?
Lois Lane: Well... How about this one, Pumpkin?
Clark Kent: Anything you want, Muffin.
[to the jeweler]
Clark Kent: Must be great seeing so many happy couples come through here every day.
Jeweler: Certainly is. It's very fulfilling helping to solidify the bond between husband and wife.
[pointing to the ring Clark is holding]
Jeweler: Excellent craftsmanship, a perfect circle, no beginning and no end. Try it on and see how it looks.
Lois Lane: [Lois holds out her hand, but Clark just stares at the ring] Don't get stage fright, Poodle. You're going to have to do this center stage in front of a packed house sooner than you think.
[to the jeweler]
Lois Lane: He has performance anxiety.
Jeweler: Would you look at that! A perfect fit.
Oliver Queen: [entering] What are you two doing here?
[Clark and Lois exchange nervous glances]
Lois Lane: Oliver... didn't you get the invitation yet?
Oliver Queen: Invitation to what?
Lois Lane: [to Clark] Tell him, Cupcake.
Clark Kent: Lois and I are... we're getting married.
Oliver Queen: [laughs, then realizes Clark is serious] You're just full of surprises lately, aren't you, Clark?
Lois Lane: I know, right? I mean we've been friends for so long, um, but we just had this one magical night, and we couldn't deny our feelings any longer.
Oliver Queen: [to Clark] Is this true?
Clark Kent: I'm afraid so.
Lois Lane: [as Clark pushes her out the door] See you at the wedding!

"Arrow: The Odyssey (#1.14)" (2013)
Slade Wilson: [after Oliver laughs] What?
Oliver Queen: I'm trapped on an island, and my only friend is named Wilson.

"Justice League Unlimited: Flashpoint (#2.10)" (2005)
Superman: [entering the Watchtower control room with Supergirl] Give me one good reason not to go down there and take them out.
J'onn J'onzz: If you didn't know the answer, you wouldn't have bothered to ask.
Superman: Don't handle me, J'onn! I'm serious!
J'onn J'onzz: We don't have hard evidence that they've committed any crimes.
Superman: Oh, come on! You know they're dirty!
Oliver Queen: Then maybe we should put more effort into proving it and less into acting like a bunch of hyperthyroid stormtroopers.
Superman: I don't remember asking you for your opinion!
Oliver Queen: No? How about when you guys hijacked me up here against my will and made me join this team? Batman said I was supposed to keep you guys honest.
Superman: [menacingly] Do I look like Batman to you?
The Flash: Actually, you kinda do. Especially when you're all scowly like that.
Superman: We can't let Cadmus get away with it.
J'onn J'onzz: No one's saying we should, but we have to keep a cool head.
Supergirl: Do you know what they did to me?
Oliver Queen: Look, kid, Hamilton's a piece of garbage. Luthor's worse. But this isn't the way to stop them.
J'onn J'onzz: We must also consider the possibility that Cadmus is right to be afraid of us...
Supergirl: [outraged] What!
J'onn J'onzz: ...*and* there's strong evidence of Cadmus having connections to the government.
Superman: Maybe, to some rogue black ops group. The real government wouldn't get involved in anything like this.
Oliver Queen: Hey, I'm the only guy in the room who doesn't have superpowers, and let me tell you, you guys scare me. What if you do decide to go down there, taking care of whoever you think is guilty? Who could stop you? Me?
Supergirl: So you *want* the government to have a bunch of superhuman weapons just to keep us in check?
Oliver Queen: No - I don't know - Yeah!
[regains composure]
Oliver Queen: Look, I'm an old lefty. The government must do for people what people can't do for themselves. The people sure can't protect themselves from the likes of us.
Superman: We're not talking about the government, we're talking about a shadow cabinet that's taken it upon themselves to eliminate us! They came after us, we have to hit them back hard!
The Flash: Grammy Flash used to say that the trouble with "an eye for an eye" is that everyone ends up blind.

"Arrow: Home Invasion (#1.20)" (2013)
Felicity Smoak: I thought it would be helpful to track A.R.G.U.S' manhunt for Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot. So I decrypted their communication logs. Which means, I just hacked a federal agency. Kind of makes me a cyber-terrorist, which is bad because I really don't see myself fitting in well at Guantanamo Bay.
Oliver Queen: Don't worry, Felicity. They don't send blondes there.
Felicity Smoak: I dye it, actually.
[to Oliver]
Felicity Smoak: I keep your secret!

"Arrow: Broken Hearts (#4.16)" (2016)
Baron Reiter: Stop here. This is it.
Oliver Queen: Okay, now you don't need us, so we can...
Baron Reiter: No! This isn't the end, Mr. Queen. It's the beginning.
Taiana: Of what?
Baron Reiter: I grew up in a small village in Africa. A country whose named has changed a dozen times over the years. One day, bandits came to my village. They wanted water, gold and... women. Once they left with them, the only thing remaning of my village was... ash, my home, and everyone I loved was wiped from the Earth, and I was helpless to stop it, and I swore I would never feel helpless again.
Oliver Queen: So killing all the people you're holding hostage is gonna help you not feel helpless? How does that make you any different from the people that destroyed your village?
Baron Reiter: Oh, it makes me... very different.
[Pulls up his gun]
Baron Reiter: Let me show you.
[Shoots an unarmed prisoner]

"The Flash: Pilot (#1.1)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: So why come to me? Something tells me you didn't just run 600 miles to say "hi" to a friend.
Barry Allen: All my life, I've wanted to... just do more - be more - and now I am, and the first chance I get to help someone, I screw up. What if Wells is right? What if I'm not a hero. What if I'm some guy who was struck by lightning?
Oliver Queen: I don't think that bolt of lighting struck you, Barry. I think it chose you.
Barry Allen: I'm just not sure I'm like you, Oliver. I don't know if I can be some... vigilante.
Oliver Queen: You can be better, because you can inspire people in a way that I never could, watching over your city like a guardian angel... making a difference... saving people... in a flash. Take your own advice: Wear a mask.

"Arrow: Burned (#1.10)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: Who are you? Where's my friend Tommy Merlyn? The guy who once rented out a football stadium so that he could play strip kickball with models?
Tommy Merlyn: That guy needed a swift kick in his lazy ass.

"Smallville: Rage (#6.7)" (2006)
Clark Kent: Who am I dealing with? Jekyll or Hyde?
Oliver Queen: Just plain old Oliver today, Clark.

"Arrow: The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak (#3.5)" (2014)
Thea Queen: I was afraid you wouldn't react well to the idea of me taking his money.
Oliver Queen: It's blood money, Thea! You don't know what Malcolm Merlyn is capable of!
Thea Queen: I know what his money is capable of - renting me this really sweet loft.
Oliver Queen: Listen to me. He's alive, and if you take his money, he has a hold on you.
Thea Queen: I think you're being a little melodramatic. I'm his daughter, okay? He's not gonna put me in danger.
Oliver Queen: He's responsible for the death of 503 innocent people, including your brother.
Thea Queen: Now that is a card you do not get to play.

"Arrow: City of Heroes (#2.1)" (2013)
Oliver Queen: The city still needs saving. But not by the Hood. Or some vigilante who's just crossing names off a list. It needs something more.
John Diggle: It needs a hero, Oliver.
Felicity Smoak: It's too bad The Hoods kind of ruined your nickname.
Oliver Queen: No, it's good. I don't want to be called The Hood anymore.
John Diggle: Okay. So what do you want to be called?
[close up of the green arrow on the shaft]

"Smallville: Crossfire (#9.6)" (2009)
Lois Lane: You know how Clark and I have this side job hosting "Good Morning Metropolis"?
Oliver Queen: Uh... Clark Kent's hosting morning television? I can't wait to watch him show me how to bake a cake.
Lois Lane: Well, our first report does have some heat, but it's not about baking. They've set us both up for blind dates.
Oliver Queen: [chuckles] Clark's on a blind date? Talk about footage of a train wreck.

"Arrow: Suicide Squad (#2.16)" (2014)
Sara Lance: I thought you hated swimming.
Oliver Queen: I detest swimming. So does Thea. My mother sometimes enjoys a casual relationship with the truth.

"Arrow: Invasion! (#5.8)" (2016)
Quentin Lance: This is the last thing you should be thinking about the night before your wedding. Or is that what's going on here?
Oliver Queen: What do you mean?
Quentin Lance: You getting cold feet?
Oliver Queen: No, not at all, I promise.
Quentin Lance: Good. Because I would hate to shoot you for breaking my daughter's heart, right? The paperwork would be hell.

"Smallville: Lazarus (#10.1)" (2010)
Rick Flag: Your satellite was tracking them - symbols that looked just like The Blur's, which makes "him" the person of interest. But what's your connection to all this?
Oliver Queen: Man, I told you. You got this whole thing wrong, okay? I'm what you call a good guy here! I'm not guilty of anything here except trying to save the world! All right? And I would tell you who from but I don't think you'd believe me.
Rick Flag: Try me.
Oliver Queen: These little green guys from outer space.

"Arrow: Human Target (#5.5)" (2016)
Christopher Chance: We haven't been properly introduced. Heads up.
[he tosses his Oliver mask to Felicity]
Christopher Chance: [shaking hands with Oliver] Christopher Chance.
Oliver Queen: John referred to you as the human target.
Christopher Chance: Well, that works better as a job description than it does as a nickname.

"Smallville: Luthor (#10.10)" (2010)
Oliver Queen: So Clark Luthor is the mysterious Ultraman of Metropolis. That name sucks, by the way. Did it look good on paper?

"Smallville: Bulletproof (#8.12)" (2009)
Clark Kent: Whoever that is, he can't just operate on Jones.
Oliver Queen: Why? 'Cause he's Martian? I get it, Clark. It's fine. He's in good hands with Emil. Trust me. After I got poisoned, I figured, you know, guys like us, could probably use a specialist on payroll.
Clark Kent: Since when did Jones become one of us?
Oliver Queen: Well, he's gotten me out of a few tight scrapes with the police, Clark.
Clark Kent: He wanted to meet with me after his shift to talk about something - I don't know what it was. If he hadn't sacrificed his abilities to save my life, that bullet wouldn't have left a scratch.
Oliver Queen: And now you feel guilty, and that's your thing, I get it - that's great. But standing here doing nothing isn't going to solve anything.

"Smallville: Savior (#9.1)" (2009)
Lois Lane: I blacked out three weeks ago, turned up in a monorail car that's jumped off the tracks, and now some assassin woman is after me.
Oliver Queen: Can you repeat that?

"Arrow: Heir to the Demon (#2.13)" (2014)
Oliver Queen: For the past year, I have stood by your side... and I have fought, because I didn't to believe that you were this... monster. And I needed to believe that still had a mother.
Moira Queen: You do, Oliver. Oliver, I only lied about Thea to protect her from Malcolm.
Oliver Queen: No, you lied because that is what you do. And that is who you are, Mom. Lies. And now you have made a liar out of me. Because Thea can never find out about Merlyn. And she can never learn the truth about us. Which is that as of right now, we have no relationship. I will keep up appearance for Thea's sake. And publicly I will support your campaign. John Diggle: We find the name for this son of a bitch.
Felicity Smoak: Eh, unfortunately, the - the son of a bitch's father went dark after he met with the point head of an arrow four years ago, and mommy went off the grid.

"Smallville: Toxic (#8.3)" (2008)
Clark Kent: Oliver, with all that poison in your system, are you sure adding more is the best idea right now?
Oliver Queen: Yeah, Clark, why don't you stick to your milkshakes, huh? I'll know when I've had enough.
[pauses, hands over flight records to Clark]
Oliver Queen: Lionel Luthor killed my parents.
Clark Kent: You figured that out from flight records? I mean, it was a plane crash.
Oliver Queen: Yeah, it was a plane crash, and according to that, there were LuthorCorp employees on the maintenance lot.
Clark Kent: And you think Lionel paid them to sabotage the plane?
Oliver Queen: Did you know about this? You were the son Lionel never had. The guy knew everything about you, right? So don't stand there and tell me that you didn't know a couple of his dirty little secrets.
Clark Kent: Look, Oliver, I was afraid that you'd do something you'd regret.
Oliver Queen: "Something I regret." Like what, Clark? You thought I was gonna kill him? Is that it? I wouldn't have killed him! I survived for two years on an island by myself, Clark! When it wasn't pouring rain, it was blistering sun! There were mosquitoes that ate me alive! It's okay, because you know what? It made me strong. You may be invincible, but you are not fearless, are you? You're afraid to trust your friends, and you're afraid to face who you were really meant to be. You're afraid of everything. Maybe you haven't been put to the test yet. Maybe your island's still out there, Clark.
