Reverend Eric Camden (Stephen Collins)

Reverend Eric Camden (Stephen Collins) is a Protestant minister living in Glen Oak, California. He is the pastor at the Glen Oak Community Church and the devoted patriarch of the Camden family. He has been married for over 20 years to his loving wife Annie. Together they have five children Matt, Mary, Simon, Lucy, and youngest daughter Ruthie. He is the son of Colonel John Camden and Ruth Camden and has a younger sister named Julie. He is known for giving sage advice to both his children and his parishioners. While sometimes considered nosy, Eric has a knack for identifying when people need help. He is available to people in need at all times and always sees the good in people. Both his home and his church office are often filled with people seeking his counsel. He is patient even when his children dont use the best judgment or when his advice is ignored. He is always willing to open his house up to anyone who needs a place to stay, especially his childrens friends. He's definitely not a cool as he thinks he is but that's part of his charm. Eric has a penchant for ice cream, hamburgers from the Dairy Shack and powdered donuts.
