Biography for
Taylor Doose (Character)

Taylor Doose is the town Selectman of Stars Hollow. He also has many roles in the government and organization of the town, and owns Doose's Market and Taylors Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe. He is in charge of organizing the town's major events and functions, and holds frequent town meetings so that he can discuss what he thinks is going wrong in the town.

He is the most powerful Stars Hollow citizen, and usually uses his power in a self-serving manner. This causes him to have conflicts with many of the citizens, most notably Luke Danes, who makes his hatred of the way Taylor runs things very clear.

In season 5, Jackson ran against him for Town Selectman and won. However, Jackson realized that he did not want the job and quickly resigned.
