Peggy Bundy is the wife of Al Bundy. They met at Polk High School and apparently got married soon after graduation. Her maiden name is Wanker, and is a former resident of Wanker County, which puzzles viewers as to how or why she attended a Chicago High School where she had a reputation as a loose woman. Her parents are still alive. Her father, Ephram is some sort of farmer, and her mother (unemployed like her) has a terrible weight problem. She has at least two cousins, Zenas and Ida May (although it is unknown which one is a Wanker). Peggy is often selfish and lazy, refusing to get a job and help the family financial situation. In fact, she often worsens it by shopping and spending money they don't have. She also spends her day sitting on the couch, eating bon-bons and watching Oprah. She has had brief stints working including a cosmetic sales person and a burger joint, and a cartoonist displaying Mr. Empty Pants who is based on Al. While she does like sex with Al, Peggy often lambastes his performance and relies on adult toys to finish the job he cannot finish. However, she is just as neglectful as a parent as Al, often forgetting about caring, cooking, or providing for Bud and Kellly. While she was pregnant for a little while, it was revealed to be nothing more than a nightmare of Al. She did take in her cousin's child, Seven for a while, offering lavish praise and attention to the deficit of her family (he mysteriously disappeared).
