Simone Deveaux is first introduced as the art-dealing love interest of Isaac Mendez, the artist capable of drawing and painting the future. At first, she doesn't believe in Isaac's ability, then she meets additional characters that broaden her perspective. As her father nears death in hospice care, she feels drawn to Peter Petrelli, and also becomes romantically involved, creating an awkward love triangle. She appears to be one of the season one regular cast members without any special abilities, but provides hope in humanity through optimism.
