Runaway Bride -- CATCH HER IF YOU CAN."Roberts and Gere confirm their status as an eternal screen team"* in this delightful laugh-filled romantic comedy. Roberts plays small-town girl Maggie Carpenter, whose marches down the aisle become a series of near Mrs. when she bolts before saying "I do." Gere is Ike Graham, a cynical, big-city newspaper columnist eager to write a tell-all story about Maggie. But the more Ike finds out about the skittish Maggie, the more he finds he's falling in love. This film is Rated PG for language and some suggestive dialogue.
Runaway Bride -- A reporter is assigned to write a story about a woman who has left a string of fiances at the altar.

Ike Graham: [Mrs. Whittenmeyer refuses to sell a wedding gown to Maggie] You sell wedding dresses, right?
Mrs. Whittenmeyer: Yes, I've been selling wedding gowns for thirty-five years.
Ike Graham: Wonderful! Because we are here to buy one! But not just any one.
[points to a gown in the window]
Ike Graham: She wants "that" one!
Mrs. Whittenmeyer: It's a thousand dollars!
Ike Graham: Listen, Aunt Bea! Conversation has never worked for me, let's try "visual."
[jumps into the window and pulls the mannequin down, knocking its wig off]
Ike Graham: We're buying the dress! And anything else she wants!
