Dr. Henry Jekyll is a kind noted doctor who experiments with drugs because he's certain that within each man lurks impulse for good and evil and has covered up a secret life of bad deeds. Because of this, he feels as if he is always fighting within himself between what is good and what is evil. He transformed into the cruel and insane Mr. Hyde after drinking his potion of his own making; Hyde is really the evil side of his nature brought to the fore.
