George Mason: You have no idea what you're getting yourself into.
Jack Bauer: Why don't you explain it to me. You've got five seconds.
[prepares to press *enter* button on laptop]

Jack Bauer: George. I need you to do me a favor. I need you to call your boss so I can get clearance on the identification of the source.
George Mason: I thought we just agreed that it didn't matter.
Jack Bauer: Yeah, but I still have to call Walsh and tell him I did everything I could. I would like to cover my own ass.
George Mason: Jack, you're finally learning how to play the game.

"24: 9:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (#1.22)" (2002)
George Mason: Maybe you should of taken more English lessons. Trade means we get something too.

George Mason: We're going to do the swap on our terms.
Andre Drazen: That's an interesting dream.

"24: Day 2: 10:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. (#2.15)" (2003)
Jack Bauer: [Jack is on the phone with the President discussing who will fly the bomb] We have a few volunteers, Sir. President. All of them good men.
President Palmer: Whoever it is, tell him he has the undying gratitude of every citizen of this country and tell him we will take care of whatever family he leaves behind.
George Mason: Yes Sir, I will.
[the president ends by asking to call him back when the plane is in the air]
George Mason: Funny, huh. I don't see any volunteers, when's the last time you flew a plane?
Jack Bauer: I can get it in the air and put it down, George.

Jack Bauer: [In a Cessna plane with the bomb] What the hell are you doing here?
George Mason: [Sarcastically] I felt like taking a ride
Jack Bauer: how the hell did you get on this plane?
George Mason: It wasn't hard, some people still think I'm the head of CTU.
Jack Bauer: son of a bitch
George Mason: [takes out a parachute] I brought something for you.
Jack Bauer: I already told you, I'm taking this plane in.
George Mason: That might've made sense back on the ground but let's face it, the hard part is over, you took off and cleared the city, what's left is flying straight, stay level and take dive am I right? Unless of course you want to die.
George Mason: What are you talking about?
George Mason: You've had a death wish ever since Terri died. The way things have been going for you in the past year and a half, to you this isn't such a bad idea, you want to go out in a blaze of glory, one of the greatest heroes of all time. This could be an easy way out. You still have a life, you want be a real hero, here's what you do. You get back down there and you put the pieces together. You find a way to forgive yourself for what happened to your wife. You make things right with your daughter, and you go on serving your country. That'd take some real guts.

George Mason: Jack! Well, as usual, I don't know whether to congratulate you or to demand for your resignation.

George Mason: [Talking to Chapelle about Jack] Look, I'm not in love with the guy either, but he delivers.

"24: Day 2: 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. (#2.5)" (2002)
George Mason: [George enters an interrogation room while Nina sits at a table] So you weren't just selling intel for the Drazens, you'd sell to anybody who'd buy it. Presidential assassins, doesn't matter did it? What do you know about this nuclear bomb?
Nina Myers: Here are the terms: they're non-negotiable. I'll give up my contacts, my background material, all my intel. I'll work with anyone you want here or in the field. For that, I want a full Prudential Pardon, third party certification in writing.
George Mason: It's not going to "Fly"
Nina Myers: then take me back.
George Mason: You're not buying a "used car" here. You have to deal within the confines of reality. You're not going to get anything until you produce results.
Nina Myers: It's in my interest to produce results
[George leaves the room]

"24: Day 2: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (#2.4)" (2002)

George Mason: [CTU agents bring John into George's office] hey I told you I need to see you.
Agent John: if you're looking to bond here dad, getting your son arrested isn't the way to do that.
George Mason: I don't have much time, things are happening here and I can't go into all that.
Agent John: you couldn't go into much of anything
George Mason: it's my line of work
Agent John: it's just something you should look into if you decided to start a second family
George Mason: it's not going to happen, look I understand if your angry,
Agent John: I'm not angry, dad, I don't care I just don't understand what you're trying to do
George Mason: [hands him his bank book] I have a couple hundred thousand dollars I thought you could use. I already contacted my accountant and he'll transfer these funds into your bank account.
Agent John: [confused] I don't get it, you bring me in here to tell me you're giving me money? What do you do you expect me to do? Give you a hug? I don't want your money
George Mason: well then give it to your mom, I'm sure she does. The thing is I'm not going to be needing it
Agent John: and why is that? Listen you don't bring me in here, offer me a small fortune and not tell me what's going on?
George Mason: [regrettably and sadly] I'm dying John.
Agent John: [starts becoming teary-eyed] is it cancer?
George Mason: something like that
George Mason: look, something "bad" is going to happen Los Angeles today and I need you to leave town.
Agent John: leave now?
George Mason: just go to Phoenix, go to your mothers for a while, it's dangerous to be here.
Agent John: [nervously] dad you can't do that
George Mason: [gently grabs him and hugs him] you're a good kid, I hope I didn't mess you up too bad
