Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992)
Donna: [to Laura] If I had a nickel for every cigarette your mom smoked, I'd be dead.

Donna: Do you think that if you were falling in space... that you would slow down after a while, or go faster and faster?
Laura: Faster and faster. And for a long time you wouldn't feel anything. And then you'd burst into fire. Forever... And the angel's wouldn't help you. Because they've all gone away.

Donna: Where are the cookies?
Laura: You mean Fred and Ginger?
Donna: Dancing.

Donna: Where are you going, Laura?
Laura: Nowhere... fast. And you're not coming.

Donna Hayward: Yeah, Mike, you're the real man.
Mike Nelson: That's right. Mike *is* the man.
Mike Nelson, Bobby Briggs: Mike *is* the man.
Bobby Briggs: [to Laura] Laura Palmer, see you later.

"Twin Peaks: Episode #2.3" (1990)
Donna Hayward: How long did you know Laura?
Harold Smith: Ever since she began "Meals on Wheels". I was her best customer.
Donna Hayward: You don't seem much like a shut-in.
Harold Smith: You mean, politely, what's the matter with me?
Donna Hayward: Okay.
Harold Smith: I don't like to go outside. I... can't.

Donna Hayward: I'll be back.
Harold Smith: I'll be here.

Donna Hayward: I wanted so much to be like you, Laura.

Donna: As much as I love you, Laura, most of the time we were trying to solve your problems. And you know what? We still are. Not mine or James' or Maddy's. Yours. You're dead Laura, but your problems keep hanging around!

"Twin Peaks: Episode #2.1" (1990)
James Hurley: When did you start smoking?
Donna Hayward: I smoke every once in a while; it helps relieve tension.
James Hurley: When did you get so tense?
Donna Hayward: When I started smoking.

Maddy: Donna, do you see these glasses that I'm wearing?
Donna: Yeah.
Maddy: [rips up her glasses] I hate them! I'm never wearing these again.

Maddy Ferguson: Uncle Leland's hair... turned white.
Donna Hayward: Really?
Maddy Ferguson: [nods head] White as a sheet.
Donna Hayward: Weird.

Donna Hayward: Look, we don't know if we *did* anything. My dad said Jacoby got sick because he was attacked. All we did was send him a tape.
Maddie Ferguson: Maybe he wouldn't have been attacked if we hadn't.
Donna Hayward: Maybe. Maybe the sun won't come up if you wash your hair. Think like that and you're gonna go crazy. What's done is done.

"Twin Peaks: Episode #2.5" (1990)
Donna Hayward: This is from a long time ago, is that ok? I was about thirteen years old, fourteen maybe. We were going to the roadhouse to meet boys. They're about twenty years old. And they're nice to us. And they make us feel like we're older. Rick asks if we wanna go party and Laura says "yes," and all of a sudden I feel this knot building up in my stomach. But when Laura gets in the truck with Rick, I go anyway. A stream in the woods and when I think, it's pale and light out. Laura starts to dance around the boys. She begins to move her hips. And we take off our clothes. I know the boys are watching. Laura starts to kiss Josh and Rick. I don't know what to do, so I swim away. I feel like I want to run, but I don't. He kisses my hand and then me. I can still feel that kiss. His lips are warm and sweet. My heart jumps. He's talking but I can't hear him. It was the first time I ever fell in love.

Donna Hayward: There are things you can't get in books.
Harold Smith: There are things you can't get anywhere but we dream they can be found in other people.

"Twin Peaks: Pilot (#1.1)" (1989)
Mike 'Snake' Nelson: Donna, you get to the sheriff's right now.
[He drives off, tires squealing]
Donna Hayward: Boy, I sure know how to pick 'em, huh.
Nadine Hurley: [Nadine opens the front door of her house and yells] Ed! You waiting for those drapes to hang themselves?
Big Ed Hurley: Yo, okay!
[Nadine goes inside, slamming the door]
Big Ed Hurley: Well, I know how to pick them too.

"Twin Peaks: Episode #1.2" (1990)
Donna Hayward: Mom, it's so strange. I know I should be sad, and I am, part of me is. But it's like... it's like I'm having the most beautiful dream... and the most terrible nightmare, all at once.
