The third or fourth samurai to be hired, Heihachi is a bit of a clown and a joker. He's constantly chipper even when he's fallen on hard times, and pokes fun at the fact that he was desperate and destitute enough to chop wood for money. Though he's not a good fighter, Heihachi joins the group to keep the team in good spirits. He loves to pick on Kikuchiyo, and the two often butt heads throughout. While he is mild-mannered and well-meaning, he has a tendency to say things that come off as insensitive.
