One of King Leonidas's 300 spartan warriors that marched to war with Persia and the only one of the 300 to return though he returned with one less eye but claimed he was unhindered as the Gods saw fit to "Grace him with a spare". He was one of the soldiers who the movie follows during the first encounter with the Immortals, showing him as a man of great strength and skill. While he had to be saved by Leonidas during the battle with the Immortals, he quickly returned the favour by saving Leonidas from a flying axe, moments later Dilios fought briefly against the Uber Immortal who threw the blade.
Dilios was sent back to Sparta before the final battle by Leonidas himself claiming he had a talent greater than any other greek, no doubt refering to Dilos's great ability with words and his power of command
At the end of the film Dilios is shown leading the Greek forces in the Battle of Plataea
