| Notes: | - Created in 1954, the Premios Ondas are given every year by Promotora de Informaciones S.A. (PRISA), through Radio Barcelona's Cadena SER, in order to pay tribute to excellence in radio, television, films and music productions and professional careers. (from the Premios Ondas web site, 2001)
- The awards started out as a radio only event, in 1957 the category television had been added. The year 1991 saw the addition of film as a category and finally in 1992 awards for music were added to the scope of the awards.
- The statuette handed out since 1954 has been completely redesigned in 1959, 1972 and 1992.
