- TriviaLou walks in on Mary and she is seen in the bathtub. In a Never Bathe on Saturday (1965) of The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961), Mary Tyler Moore's character Laura Petrie found herself stuck in a bathtub, although the audience never saw her as they do here. According to Carl Reiner for years people told him they remember seeing Mary in the bathtub on the Dick van Dyke show.
- GoofsLou comes to Mary's to check on her and her phone is off the hook with a busy signal. When he finds Mary, he says he tried to call and the operator told him the phone is off the hook. A telephone does not emit a busy signal when it's left off the hook. There would've been a dial tone, loud beeping, or silence.

Ridiculous addiction episode
These pill addiction episodes of 70's and 80's shows are ridiculous. How the eff is it Lou's business to treat her like a child. The whole episode made me very angry.
