Days of Our Lives (Dool) spoilers note that Arianne Zucker’s “days” are coming to a close. The actress has played Nicole Walker-dimera for over 25 years; however, reports surfaced earlier in 2024 that she was leaving the show. As the soap films so far in advance, and the actress herself recently revealed her last appearance on the daytime drama was July 29, viewers know Ari will be wrapping things up shortly.
Zucker launched a lawsuit on the soap just after she left filming, with allegations of wrongful dismissal as well as sexual misconduct. It seems that Ari won’t be returning to the land of Salem, but could someone else take her place?

Maggie should have had a better plan.
When Konstantin didn't actually embezzle money from Titan, she made it look like he did so she could humiliate him at their wedding, confronting him with all his evil deeds and forcing him into a corner.
Unsurprisingly, Konstantin tried to fight back, and now spoilers for Days of Our Lives during the week of 6-10-24 promise a gunfight and a significant character getting caught in the crossfire.
How Many Salem Weddings End Like This?
Almost every Salem wedding is nearly derailed, many of them with gun violence or threats.
Nobody should have expected Konstantin to slink quietly away or wait around to be arrested and deported.
This plot also involved John's silly declaration that a recorded conversation in which Konstantin clearly told him to kill Maggie wasn't enough evidence to abort the wedding idea. What more evidence did he need?

The 51st Daytime Emmys were last night on June 7th, with some surprising winners. Watching the actors’ and actresses’ reactions when they won was fun, as they clearly thought they didn’t stand a chance to take home the Emmy. All in all, It was an entertaining and eventful night.
Michelle Stafford Won The Daytime Emmys Outstanding Lead Actress
Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless, was shocked by her triumph. Stafford won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
While Stafford is a phenomenal actress, she was up against some serious competition with Finola Hughes, who plays Anna Devane on General Hospital, and Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina Reeves on General Hospital.
Stafford had a good past year, as she had killer scenes with her on-screen nemesis, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). During her acceptance speech, she praised her fellow actress and good friend,...

Dick Van Dyke’s run in Hollywood has been nothing short of iconic. With a career spanning over seven decades, the actor has been the recipient of four Primetime Emmy wins and has now made history following his second Daytime Emmy win, thanks to his stint in Days of Our Lives.
But unlike his stint in the entertainment industry, the actor’s personal life hasn’t been exactly smooth sailing, especially during his first marriage with Margie Willett. Van Dyke, who went on to cheat on his wife of 36 years with his agent’s secretary, revealed that the affair took a heavy toll on him, stressing he was ridden with guilt.

In addition to winning the night’s top prize, “General Hospital” also received awards for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Writing teams. Actor Robert Gossett won his second consecutive Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actor for his role as Marshall Ashford on the drama series.
The writing win for “General Hospital” marked the first time in 15 years the show has taken home the award and the show’s first win under the penmanship of former head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor.

General Hospital won big at the 51st Daytime Emmys.
While only Robert Gossett won among the nominated actors, the ABC soap took home Best Drama, Outstanding Writing Team, and Best Directing Team trophies.
It is good news for the show, but the results puzzled the viewers.
For several years, there have been complaints about the writing, the seemingly random actors they hire, and more.
Winning for the writing category against soaps like The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives, and The Bold and the Beautiful, which all had phenomenal storylines, is confusing even to us.
Here’s what some General Hospital viewers had to say about the big sweep at the Daytime Emmys.
General Hospital announces big Emmy win
Admittedly, winning the best Daytime Drama series is a big win, and General Hospital couldn’t wait to share their three big wins on social media.

Dick Van Dyke made history at The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards for playing Mystery Man/Timothy Robicheaux on Days of our Lives.
At age 98, the win made Dick the oldest winner in Daytime Emmy history as well as earned him a standing ovation as he took the stage.
It was not a surprise at all when Dick’s name was called as the winner for his Guest Performance in a Drama Series.
Not only did he kill it working on Days alongside vets like Drake Hogestyn (John), Deidre Hall (Marlena), Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie), and the late Bill Hayes (Doug), but Dick’s just simply a legend who deserved the honor.
The crowd went wild when Dick’s name was called and during his speech.

The 2024 Daytime Emmys went largely according to script on June 7, but there were still more than a few surprises. As always, some of the best moments occurred when the winners genuinely didn’t see that Emmy coming. See the complete winners list.
Here are the Top 5 of those shocking winners on the “shockmeter” scale.
1. Michelle Stafford, Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series for “The Young and the Restless.”
Most Gold Derby editors and users seemed to think that it was a battle between “General Hospital” heroines Finola Hughes and Cynthia Watros. So Stafford did a classic jaw-drop when her name was called, giving the night the one big upset that it needed. Stafford’s portrayal of Phyllis Summers had previously earned her a Supporting Actress Emmy in 1997 and a Lead Actress statuette in 2004. Two decades later, she’s an official triple Emmy champ – not to mention the night’s biggest daytime drama queen.

Dick Van Dyke Won For Outstanding Guest Performance On ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers
The show started by awarding the Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama. Robert Gossard, who plays Marshall Ashford on General Hospital, won.
Gossard was genuine and humble, two things everyone wants to see in a winner. Next, Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on The Young and the Restless, won.
Hope dedicated her Emmy to all the mothers who lost a child. Her big storyline this year was that her character had a devastating miscarriage. Her performance was heartbreaking.

Michelle Stafford won Best Actress at the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards for her performance as Phyllis on “The Young and the Restless.” Winning isn’t new to her, for sure. In her illustrious career Stafford has been nominated 12 times as Phyllis, a role she originated in 1994 and has played off and on for three decades. The 51st Daytime Emmys brought fashion and wins to the stage.
CBS hosted the event, allowing it to be televised live for viewers to revel in what their favorite soap stars were wearing and what they were doing.
The nominations this year were all over the board, and while we had our predictions, we weren’t sure who would actually take home the coveted awards.
In a year affected by writers’ strikes, scribes wrote some of the material the actors worked with and did a good job making it their own.
While there are varying opinions about who won each category, only one can take home the statue.
Here’s which soaps won each category tailored to the genre.
Who won a Daytime Emmy?
Some categories didn’t offer an actor or actress for a particular soap. But without further do, here is a list of winners in the soap-centric categories.

Steve Burton was just 21 when he took on the role of rich kid Jason Quartermaine on General Hospital. Despite his young age, it wasn’t his first acting credit. His breakout role was on the sitcom Out Of This World in 1987. A stint on Days of Our Lives as Harris Michaels followed, a role he briefly reprised in 2023.

Days of Our Lives (Dool) spoilers note that as Clyde Weston (James Read) recently declared to Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) that Abigail Dimera (last played by Marci Miller) was alive, the hunt will be on to locate Abby and bring her home. When he finds her, will he also discover she’s become a mother again?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abigail Dimera May Have Mental Health Or Memory Issues Upon Her Return
Dool spoilers state some fans have been speculating that actress AnnaLynne McCord is the Abigail recast.
As her character’s name is “Marin”, viewers believe that Abby will either have memory loss issues, or her dissociative identity disorder (Did) will have surfaced again.
Regardless, even if actress Marci Miller surprisingly returns, Abigail will likely have some problems reconnecting with Chad. After all, no character returns from the dead without obstacles for a reunion with the partner they left behind.
